Akame is coming in as one of our “random” anime characters from a show we haven’t seen prior at SHJ.
Although it definitely is nice being able to add some new anime into our Anime Workouts Database.
We had a handful of requests for Akame and now after seeing her added to our list of The Most Powerful Female Anime Characters of All Time, she clearly deserves her spot more than ever.
It’s also fun to have another character that is not necessarily super enhanced but trained to become as incredibly powerful as Akame like we’ve seen from a handful of other characters within our Workout Database – similar to a character like Mikasa Ackerman.
Akame Stats:
Real Name: Akame
Height: 5’4
Weight: N/A
Anime: Akame Ga Kill
Powers: No
Akame is right around average height we’ve continued to see among female anime characters.
It was even not too far off average height among the males for a time when we were seeing mostly younger anime male characters as well.
Supergirl and Erza Scarlet were our shortest at 5’5 before Wasp came in at 5’4 and Kale, Anna and Nina Williams matching her there. BUT, now we have Caulifla at 4’8 and Sailor Moon at 4’11! Katana is just behind her at 5’2.
We had Wonder Woman come in standing 6’0 tall, Mockingbird and Hawkgirl at 5’9, Mystique, Miss Martian, and Sonya Blade at 5’10, and Storm 5’11.
But the average height for female celebrities on the site is generally more-so ranging from 5’4-5’6 – and our Black Widow is just above that at 5’7 with Spider-Gwen, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy at 5’8.
And, the tallest we’d seen before She-Hulk was Starfire at 6’4!
But don’t worry, either way.
Not only are these routines for all shapes and sizes – they also work for both men and women – regardless of the gender of the hero.

Akame Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Akame Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To get us started with Akame we’re going to be pulling right from her Wiki Fandom page, which starts like this:
Akame, also known as Akame of the Demon Sword Murasame, is the titular heroine, alongside Tatsumi, and lead anti-heroine of the manga series Akame ga Kill!, as well as the main protagonist of the prequel manga Akame ga Kill! Zero. She also appears as a main supporting character in Hinowa ga Yuku!, mainly as Hinata’s personal tutor of swordsmanship and Elder’s Class combat tutor. Originally sold to the Empire along with her sister Kurome to be trained as an assassin, Akame eventually defected to the rebels when she was sent to assassinate General Najenda, the leader of Night Raid and joined them to overthrow the corrupt monarchy.
While that doesn’t tell us much more than the fact that she was trained to be an assassin, we will continue diving into more categories within her Fandom page.
Here’s how they break down her physical abilities section:
Due to being raised and trained by Gozuki one of the Four Rakshasa Demons and one of the Empire’s most deadliest assassin for the majority of her childhood, Akame has displayed several superhuman level physical attributes such as superhuman strength, speed, reflexes, senses and durability due to the rigorous training regiment Gozuki put her through that primarily involved training and raising her within the Danger Beast infested wilderness mountains that eventually lead to her current physical build and skill level.
Akame is often considered to be one of the strongest members of Night Raid, slaying even the strongest of enemies with minimal effort. Her hellish assassination training allows her combat prowess to be on par with those as powerful as the General rank within the military levels of the Empire, Esdeath herself acknowledging her strength. Akame is an extremely skilled master swordswoman, able to wield her Teigu Murasame with utmost dexterity and precision, able to slay numerous enemies, even highly skilled and powerful enemies with incredible ease.
For this we’re going to be looking to train to achieve the same incredible superhuman levels of strength, speed, reflexes and durability with our training.
We won’t be training within infested wilderness mountains, but we will be using calisthenics mixed with circuits and endurance training to improve our overall fitness level to superhuman standards.
I’ll even be incorporating aspects from our Assassin Calisthenics that have been used to train new U.S. Marines.
So don’t expect me to go easy on you!
