Mavis Vermillion is one of the most powerful Fairy Tail characters, and she just missed making it onto our list among The Most Popular Fairy Tail characters as well.
That being said, she’s still going to be a great addition to our Fairy Tail Inspired Workouts and our Fairy Tail Workout Placement Quiz.
And, of course, I’m sure she’ll be welcomed with open arms into our Anime Workouts Database considering we don’t have all that many Guild Masters!

Real Name: Mavis Vermillion
Height: 4’8-5’2
Weight: 70 lbs.
Anime: Fairy Tail
Powers: Yes
Mavis Vermillion comes in with all different height ranges depending on her age, ranging from 4’8-5’2.
Her weight also goes from 40 something to roughly 70 something – which is still outrageously low.
Supergirl and Erza Scarlet were our shortest at 5’5 before Wasp came in at 5’4 and Kale, Anna and Nina Williams matching her there. BUT, now we have Caulifla at 4’8 and Sailor Moon at 4’11! Katana is just behind her at 5’2.
We had Wonder Woman come in standing 6’0 tall, Mockingbird and Hawkgirl at 5’9, Mystique, Miss Martian, and Sonya Blade at 5’10, and Storm 5’11.
But the average height for female celebrities on the site is generally more-so ranging from 5’4-5’6 – and our Black Widow is just above that at 5’7 with Spider-Gwen, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy at 5’8.
And, the tallest we’d seen before She-Hulk was Starfire at 6’4!
But don’t worry, either way.

Mavis Vermillion Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.

Mavis Vermillion Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To start us off we’re going to be pulling from Mavis Vermillion’s Wiki Fandom page to learn a bit more about her and her background.
Here’s how they start breaking it down with a bit of a bio snippet:
Mavis Vermillion was the first Guild Master and co-founder of the Fairy Tail Guild. Despite her body being comatose and sealed within a Lacrima that has become to be known as Fairy Heart, she continues to interact with the guild and its members as a Thought Projection. Ultimately after a long time of being encased in Lacrima, Mavis’ real body is freed with painstaking efforts of Cana and her usage of Fairy Glitter.
From there we can jump down into her powers and abilities section and learn a bit about her Illusion Magic.
Illusion Magic: During her time at Tenrou Island, Mavis was self-taught Illusion Magic. Her illusions are so detailed that they appear to be truly life-like, and Mavis has used them on occasion to intimidate people, such as by creating fearsome beasts that look deadly and summoning an army of knights.
They also go on to give an extremely long breakdown of her other powers and abilities, which I’ll simply list without full descriptions below:

And while none of these exactly help us build out a workout routine, they are things that are important to note about Mavis’ character.
That being said, I think our best bet is to build out this routine in an almost cosplay-oriented fashion, like we’ve seen from some of our characters inside our Anime Workouts Database.
For that reason we’ll be utilizing more of a basic training regime that prioritizes achieving Mavis’ petite and slim aesthetic.
We’ll use a mixture of cardio and simplistic calisthenics training for you guys – but you’ll also be able to scale both up and down as needed.

3-5 days per week
We’re going to be training with one upper body focus day and one lower body focus day with an optional circuit training day and two days of endurance and/or HIIT added in as needed with resources I’ll be providing. Feel free to scale down with the tips I provide or scale up if you’re ready to take on some more!

I’ll break it down in that order:
Option One – Run Based on Overall Fitness Level:
Beginner: 1-3 Miles
Intermediate: 3-5 Miles
Advanced: 5+ Miles
