We’re getting another badass Chainsaw Man female joining our growing Chainsaw Man Inspired Workouts.
Himeno slides the pin back to the females of Chainsaw Man and brings that back on top with five female characters and four male characters in our database.
Himeno comes in as one of the most popular and powerful Chainsaw Man characters and you’ll definitely see her on our lists once they show up here at SHJ.
We actually don’t have a ton of information on her abilities in her Fandom pages, which is one of the reasons I was pushing back her workout for a bit, but ultimately she needs her spot within our Anime Workouts Database.
Himeno Stats:
Real Name: Himeno
Height: 5’9
Weight: N/A
Anime: Chainsaw Man
Powers: Yes
Himeno is actually quite tall compared to female anime characters we’ve seen at SHJ.
We actually don’t have an official height, but 5’9 was pulled in comparison to our other Chainsaw Man characters and seems to be right on the money.
Supergirl and Erza Scarlet were our shortest at 5’5 before Wasp came in at 5’4 and Kale, Anna and Nina Williams matching her there. BUT, now we have Caulifla at 4’8 and Sailor Moon at 4’11! Katana is just behind her at 5’2.
We had Wonder Woman come in standing 6’0 tall, Mockingbird and Hawkgirl at 5’9, Mystique, Miss Martian, and Sonya Blade at 5’10, and Storm 5’11.
But the average height for female celebrities on the site is generally more-so ranging from 5’4-5’6 – and our Black Widow is just above that at 5’7 with Spider-Gwen, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy at 5’8.
And, the tallest we’d seen before She-Hulk was Starfire at 6’4!
But don’t worry, either way.
Not only are these routines for all shapes and sizes – they also work for both men and women – regardless of the gender of the hero.

Himeno Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Himeno Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Himeno I’ll be pulling right from her Wiki Fandom page, albeit not having too much information for us to build on.
Here’s how they start us off:
Himeno was a Public Safety Devil Hunter, working under Makima’s special squad. She was partnered with Aki Hayakawa.
And being that we have such a short bio section and not much about her abilities (don’t worry, I will share what little we do have), I do think it’s relevant to share some information about her personality and build on her character a bit as well.
Here’s some of what they give us about that:
Himeno is shown to be a mature and experienced superior to the new recruits working under her. She generally carries herself with upbeat body language and is capable of staying calm under extremely stressful situations, such as the initial phase of her group’s battle against the Eternity Devil. Himeno motivated Denji by offering him a french kiss, implying that she’s at least somewhat perceptive of the people around her and is willing to take unorthodox approaches in order to ensure the best possible results from him.
Himeno is shown to be very efficient and blunt in her duty as a Devil Hunter. She responded to a small and seemingly insignificant Devil by almost immediately using her Ghost Devil to subdue it. She’s shown to have a more stern side and little tolerance for behavior from new recruits that would endanger or harm her subordinates, as she swiftly took out Kobeni Higashiyama when the latter attempted to stab Denji.
From there they go on to talk about how she is empathetic and caring as well as fairly cheerful, although having a pessimistic outlook on the world.
But, moving into her abilities section we can learn a bit more about what we’re working with here:
Ghost Devil Contract: Himeno has the ability to use the power of the Ghost Devil; in exchange for sacrificing her right eye permanently to the devil, Himeno can summon and control the right arm of the Ghost Devil who is invisible and intangible. This arm is strong enough to gouge large wounds into the Eternity Devil’s flesh. During the fight with Akane Sawatari, Himeno, in exchange for her whole body, can fully summon the Ghost Devil to attack and overwhelm her opponent.
Hand-to-Hand Combat: Himeno is a skilled fighter, instantly incapacitating Kobeni Higashiyama after she had been disarmed.
And if we jump over and pull from her “Quote The Anime” we learn some additional information.
Here’s what they have to build on her hand to hand combat and even Ghost Arm:
Hand To Hand Combat: Despite being good with summoning the Ghost Devil and having the guts to sacrifice her right eye, she’s really good with hand-to-hand combat. Her physique is quite tough too which leads to power punches and kicks.
Himeno is a skilled fighter. She easily incapacitated Kobeni and after that, he was paralyzed. So, this is one of the pieces of evidence explaining her combating skills.
Ghost Arm: Himeno can summon the Ghost Devil which is invisible and ephemeral. She can take this Ghost Arm inside the opponent’s body to destroy them. This arm helped during the Eternity Devil Arc. It left many large wounds inside the body.
In exchange for her body, she can easily summon multiple arms against her opponents.
This gives us a bit more to go on at least (yes, I still wish we have more).
Either way we’ll be working around a calisthenics/bodyweight routine for this one.
The goals for our Himeno Inspired Workout are:
- Himeno’s Slim and Toned Physique
- Himeno’s Strength as a Devil Hunter
- Himeno’s Body Control as a Hand to Hand Combatant
That means we’ll still be looking to get strong, but will be adding in some extra core work and mobility training with our calisthenics.
This one will be built around an intermediate level, so feel free to scale down a bit if needed – or even start with our Beginner Ninja Workout.
