YoRHa No.2 Type B is currently breaking the internet as the top waifu.
So, naturally, she also topped our request form and was quickly a priority for this week’s workouts.
Nier: Automata started as just a video game and now Nier: Automata Ver1.1a is immediately making waves as an anime.
I’m sure we can eventually get some other characters here on SHJ, but for now we’re going to be working on our 2B Inspired Workout, which will be built around a cosplay-oriented routine.
2B Stats:
Real Name: YoRHa No.2 Type B
Height: 5’5 (including heels)
Weight: 328 lbs.
Anime: Nier: Automata Ver1.1a
Powers: Yes
2B is right around average height, if not actually a little short (if she wasn’t in heels), compared to female characters we’ve had on the site.
And we are clearly going to disregard her weight for this one…for obvious reasons…
Supergirl and Erza Scarlet were our shortest at 5’5 before Wasp came in at 5’4 and Kale, Anna and Nina Williams matching her there. BUT, now we have Caulifla at 4’8 and Sailor Moon at 4’11! Katana is just behind her at 5’2.
We had Wonder Woman come in standing 6’0 tall, Mockingbird and Hawkgirl at 5’9, Mystique, Miss Martian, and Sonya Blade at 5’10, and Storm 5’11.
But the average height for female celebrities on the site is generally more-so ranging from 5’4-5’6 – and our Black Widow is just above that at 5’7 with Spider-Gwen, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy at 5’8.
And, the tallest we’d seen before She-Hulk was Starfire at 6’4!
But don’t worry, either way.
Not only are these routines for all shapes and sizes – they also work for both men and women – regardless of the gender of the hero.

2B Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.

2B Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about 2B I’m going to be pulling right from her Wiki Fandom page, starting with this:
YoRHa No.2 Type B (Battle) or 2B serves as the protagonist of Route A in NieR:Automata. She is a YoRHa android created to battle the machine lifeforms that have invaded the planet on behalf of the surviving humans. She served during the 14th Machine War.
2B is an all-purpose battle android, deployed as a member of the automated YoRHa infantry. She is equipped with a multitude of weapons for close quarters combat and can attack from range using the Pod support system.
From there I want to continue on with some more background information to really dig into her character and know what we’re working with.
Here’s how they break it down for us:
2B was created an unspecified amount of time before the events of the game as part of the new line of YoRHa androids. She was given the designation of 2B as a cover by the Commander, who gave her orders to observe one of the new Scanner models in action during YoRHa’s operations against the machines.
2B’s role was to ensure that 9S would not discover the true nature of Project YoRHa by executing him in case he dug too deep because of the natural curiosity programmed into him. Over the course of hundreds of operations, 2B was forced to kill 9S and wipe his memory countless times, an act that she came to hate for the pain it caused her after bonding with him over that time.
(It is revealed in NieR: Orchestra Concert re:12018 that 2B killed 9S 48 times.)
We know 2B can clearly fight, but as I mentioned above: this one is going to be built around a cosplay oriented workout.
I’ll also be keeping it to calisthenics so that anyone can jump right in and get started.
And, to top it off, I’ll be building it around a beginner to intermediate level routine to make sure it’s scalable for any fitness level.
The goals for our 2B Inspired Workout look like this:
- 2B Slim and Lean Aesthetic [Priority]
- 2B Speed and Agility [Secondary]
- 2B Strength and Endurance [Secondary]
The secondary goals will be things we keep in mind while building out the routine, but the ultimate [primary] goal for our YoRHa No.2 Type B Workout is to be able to get into 2B shape and cosplay as her while showing off her aesthetic.

We’re building this one out around beginner-intermediate calisthenics training to work to get an aesthetic like 2B. We’ll have 3 days of low intensity cardio and some toning calisthenics and then I gave you guys some optional core work to tack on as well if you’d like.

For your endurance, HIIT or MMA/Parkour days you have quite a few options.
You can utilize enforced endurance training that I will program for you based on your fitness level like we do with other workouts here at SHJ…OR you can do 45-60+ minutes of varied cardio (bike, treadmill, elliptical, stairs, row, swim, etc.)…OR you can even use the HIIT resources I’ll provide.
I’ll break it down in that order:
