For obvious reasons, we’re going on a bit of a One Piece tear in the next couple of weeks.
Our One Piece Workouts Database is already one of the largest on the entire website, but when you’re dealing with a manga/anime as massive as One Piece there are always going to be more incredible characters to share.
We’ll have both male and female characters, and the majority are requests for characters coming from the new One Piece live action on Netflix, so I wanted to start with a character that is at the top of the lists for requests that isn’t in the live action: Vinsmoke Reiju.
We’ll be training with calisthenics with this one considering they fit our goal physique well, and we’ll also be getting a One Piece character that we’ll use weights for this week – so it’ll be a good mesh for our Anime Workouts Database to have both.

Height: 5’8
Weight: N/A
Anime/Manga: One Piece
Powers: Yes
Vinsmoke is actually quite tall, standing in a taller range if we compare her to female anime characters, superheroes and even celebrities we’ve seen at SHJ.
That said, we can tell she also stays slim and toned, allowing us to put her weight between 115 and 150 (if I had to take a wide guesstimate).
Supergirl and Erza Scarlet were our shortest at 5’5 before Wasp came in at 5’4 and Kale, Anna and Nina Williams matching her there. BUT, now we have Caulifla at 4’8 and Sailor Moon at 4’11! Katana is just behind her at 5’2.
We had Wonder Woman come in standing 6’0 tall, Mockingbird and Hawkgirl at 5’9, Mystique, Miss Martian, and Sonya Blade at 5’10, and Storm 5’11.
But the average height for female celebrities on the site is generally more-so ranging from 5’4-5’6 – and our Black Widow is just above that at 5’7 with Spider-Gwen, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy at 5’8.
And, the tallest we’d seen before She-Hulk was Starfire at 6’4!
But don’t worry, either way.
Not only are these routines for all shapes and sizes – they also work for both men and women – regardless of the gender of the hero.

Vinsmoke Reiju Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.

Vinsmoke Reiju Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Vinsmoke Reiju I’ll be pulling right from her Wiki Fandom page starting with her bio section here:
Vinsmoke Reiju, also known as “Poison Pink”, is the eldest child and only daughter of the Vinsmoke Family. She is the princess of the Germa Kingdom and a commander in its military army, Germa 66. She is an ally of the Straw Hat Pirates in the Whole Cake Island Arc. She is also one of the central characters in Germa 66’s Ahh… An Emotionless Excursion Cover Page Serial.
This doesn’t tell us much about what we’ll have to focus on for our workout, but it does give us some good background information for Vinsmoke so we can continue on by sticking to important pieces of her puzzle.
Moving into her appearance section we’ll skim right over it considering it really mostly describes her clothes and hair style more-so than her physical appearance in terms of physique, which they simply make small mention to by calling her slim.
That leaves us some extra room to discuss more about her powers and abilities, starting with what they tell us about her overall abilities here:
Due to being a member of the Vinsmoke Family, Reiju possesses political power over the Germa Kingdom, and over the World Government. Unlike the members of most royal families, she (as well as her father and siblings) is also a commander of their kingdom’s military, directly leading their forces in combat and other activities.
As a member of the Vinsmoke Family, Reiju also has access to the advanced technology developed by her family as well as their extravagant wealth.
Reiju has sharp intuition, as she had some suspicion that Pudding was not the kind person she appeared to be, a feat that Pudding herself complimented. She also has an excellent memory, as she is able to perfectly recall an intense argument between her parents when she was only three years old. She is shown to have a strong will, as she was able to withstand Big Mom’s burst of Haoshoku Haki and remain conscious from her loud scream.
This tells us a bit more and leads us in the right direction, but it’s not everything.
From there they also go on to discuss her medical expertise and poison pink, which we’ll take a brief look at prior to really breaking down her physical abilities:
Poison Pink: As a result of her genetic enhancements, Reiju wields poison-based powers that have garnered her the epithet of “Poison Pink.” She can suck poison out of people via mouth-to-mouth and ingest it while having exhibited immense immunity to the most virulent of poisons, such as extremely lethal doses of an Armored Stonefish’s skin poison, as shown when she saved Luffy. Said poison was said to be more than enough to kill any normal human instantaneously, as well as a giant even, and was causing Luffy, who has himself built up an extreme poison resistance, to debilitate to the brink of death in no time. Thanks to her ability, Reiju casually extracted and consumed said poison (and with it the rash it had brought upon) without suffering any ill effects (even noting it to be a delicacy). It was shown that when she is consuming poison, the butterfly wings of her outfit gain additional rings on their pattern.
Medical Expertise: Reiju has great medical knowledge. As a child, she would often treat Sanji’s grievous wounds from his brothers’ brutal beatings. Her medical knowledge also extends to toxicology due to her affinity for poisons. She could accurately identify Luffy’s symptoms with the poison which had caused them and also estimate how much of the poison he had consumed.
From there we can move onto what will really impact our training methodology the most, her physical abilities.
Here’s how they break it down for us:
Due to genetic enhancements, Reiju possesses immense superhuman physical abilities that were additionally honed through a stringent training regimen from a young age. Like her brothers, she has an outer skeleton known as an Exoskeleton, which allows her to take more damage than a normal human. She is noted to possess an extraordinary recovery rate from injury.
Reiju has immense strength, being capable of bending metal bars at a young age. With a single hand, she grabbed a rampaging Luffy who was wreaking havoc in Whole Cake Chateau and quickly pulled him into the infirmary. Additionally, like Sanji, Niji, and Judge, Reiju is also extremely proficient in using powerful kicks, as she kicked Yonji (another genetically enhanced human and a fellow Germa commander) off their ship and into the sea, despite his attempt to defend against her. She also successfully used kicks against Charlotte Smoothie, one of Big Mom’s Sweet Commanders, in order to force Smoothie to release Nami. Reiju is also capable of moving at rapid speeds and was fast enough to instantly evade Perospero’s candy wave.
We’re going to need to really focus in on progressive overload being that we’re using bodyweight training and adding Vinsmoke Reiju into our calisthenics workouts for this one, but also have to make sure we’re getting extremely strong.
That said, the goals of our Vinsmoke Reiju Inspired Workout are as follows:
- Vinsmoke Reiju’s Slim and Toned Aesthetic
- Vinsmoke Reiju’s Immense Superhuman Abilities
- Vinsmoke Reiju’s Strength, Speed and Mobility
Based on Vinsmoke Reiju’s power level our routine isn’t going to be easy, and therefore won’t be a beginner workout. You can scale it down if you’re a beginner and work your way up to it, or you can even use one of our Beginner Workouts to start and then move into this one when you feel more comfortable with it.
That said, even intermediate and advanced members of The SHJ Army will need to scale, especially up, in order to continue making sure you’re getting the progressive overload needed to get stronger and stronger.

Vinsmoke Reiju Workout Routine
Training Volume:
3-5 days per week
Explanation:
We will be taking a page out of Luffy’s book for this one and using his calisthenics routine as a base that we change immensely to fit Vinsmoke. That means we’re going to be training around 3 calisthenics days with a focus on speed and strength, and then we’ll also have a day devoted to endurance and a day devoted to high intensity circuit training.

For your endurance, HIIT or MMA/Parkour days you have quite a few options.
You can utilize enforced endurance training that I will program for you based on your fitness level like we do with other workouts here at SHJ…OR you can do 45-60+ minutes of varied cardio (bike, treadmill, elliptical, stairs, row, swim, etc.)…OR you can even use the HIIT resources I’ll provide.
I’ll break it down in that order:
Option One – Run Based on Overall Fitness Level:

Intermediate: 3-5 Miles
