We have been on a role with our female characters joining our Anime Workouts Database, and I’m bringing in another one.
This time we’re going to be training with weights, so if you’re looking for a bodyweight routine you’ll want to head back into the databases and search through the calisthenics workouts.
That said, Kimberly Jackson, AKA Ninjastar, is jacked!
She joins a great lineup within our Street Fighter Workouts Database, and she’s going to help us bring it up to another notch.
Oh, and spoiler alert, but we have some other characters already requested and we’ll be getting some other ones in the coming weeks as well.
Kimberly Jackson Stats:
Real Name: Kimberly Jackson
Height: 5’6
Weight: 134 lbs.
Video Game: Street Fighter
Powers: No
Kimberly comes in right around average height among female characters, and her 134 pounds seems about right for her muscle.
That said, she’s exactly a foot off what we’d consider a behemoth – which is something we should have known coming in.
Supergirl and Erza Scarlet were our shortest at 5’5 before Wasp came in at 5’4 and Kale, Anna and Nina Williams matching her there. BUT, now we have Caulifla at 4’8 and Sailor Moon at 4’11! Katana is just behind her at 5’2.
We had Wonder Woman come in standing 6’0 tall, Mockingbird and Hawkgirl at 5’9, Mystique, Miss Martian, and Sonya Blade at 5’10, and Storm 5’11.
But the average height for female celebrities on the site is generally more-so ranging from 5’4-5’6 – and our Black Widow is just above that at 5’7 with Spider-Gwen, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy at 5’8.
And, the tallest we’d seen before She-Hulk was Starfire at 6’4!
But don’t worry, either way.
Not only are these routines for all shapes and sizes – they also work for both men and women – regardless of the gender of the hero.

Kimberly Jackson Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Kimberly Jackson Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Kimberly Jackson I’ll be pulling right from her Wiki Fandom page, starting with her bio section here:
Kimberly Jackson, also known as the Ninjastar, is a fighting game character from the Street Fighter games, first partially seen in Street Fighter 6‘s second trailer before being properly confirmed near the end of the 2022 EVO tournament. She is an African-American ninja girl/kunoichi fighter trained under Guy in the Bushinryu style, but with her own twist.
The majority of this is going to be a cosplay oriented workout, but we will obviously be building around her combat power as well.
To start I want to break down what they say about her appearance section here:
Kimberly is a slender, brown eyed, black American girl with dark brown skin. Her hair is braided in five sections, with the tips dyed blue.
Her default costume consists of a headband and ascot with African-inspired patterns, a red cropped short-sleeved puffer jacket with white trims, red fingerless gloves, black skin-tight capris that bare the sides of her hips, and red sneakers with white soles and blue laces. She also has yellow wraps across her wrists and legs, and carries a blue cassette player on her leg with matching earbuds.
This doesn’t tell us much, and I really don’t love their description considering they say “slender” and don’t build on the fact that she has six pack abs, muscular legs, and an overall lean and toned physique.
That’s a huge part of what we’ll be working on within this routine, and part of why I decided to build this one as a weight training workout.
From there they actually don’t go on to discuss her powers and abilities, but they do talk about her combat skills (slightly) in her personality section here:
She is a spunky teen with a boundless amount of energy and enthusiasm. Kimberly has a love for art and all things ’80s. She’s a prodigy who graduated college early and has an insanely high combat potential. In both her and JP’s arcade story and like Chun-Li who searches for answers in finding her father by meeting Gen, Kimberly is also searching for answers about the whereabouts of her uncle, Albert Jackson who is also Ken’s advisor by meeting JP. In Dee Jay’s arcade story, she was also shown to be mature and giving some thought to Dee Jay about the new songs he needs to be popularized and the reason Dee Jay inspires her when he finally composed a new song for his new albums.
Another big part of what we want to learn about Kimberly Jackson is what they tell us here about her character design:
According to character designer Kaname Fujioka, Kimberly is set up to serve as the Chun-Li for the new generation of Street Fighter fans.
We should all know what that means.
When I first was introduced to Kimberly Jackson I knew right away our programming would be similar to our Chun Li workout, but for this one I’ll be purposely making changes to make sure we have a unique Ninjastar Workout!
That said, the goals for our Kimberly Jackson Inspired Workout are:
- Kimberly Jackson’s Shredded Muscular Aesthetic
- Kimberly Jackson’s Mobility, Strength and Speed
- Kimberly Jackson’s Acrobatic Abilities
Almost all levels that are comfortable with weightlifting should be able to jump right into this one, but if it seems a bit too hard then you also have our Beginner Workouts to fall back on to get you started.
Your best bet for this one would be the Beginner Behemoth Workout, but you have a lot of great options.
Check out all The SHJ Programs and start unleashing your inner SuperHuman.
Kimberly Workout Routine
Training Volume:
4-5+ days per week
Explanation:
For this we’re going to be using our Chun Li workout as a base, but then making it unique to Kimberly Jackson. One thing we’ll be doing is adding more calisthenics movements and making it hybrid to cater to Ninjastar’s acrobatic ability. We’ll have an awesome Upper/Lower Body Split mixed with our Street Fighter Circuit Test that you can tack on weekly, biweekly or monthly as you’d like (and on the weeks you don’t you can throw in extra endurance training).
Want To Upgrade This Workout?
The Superhero Academy now comes with an Upgrade Your Workout Tool that allows Academy members to turn any SHJ workout into a 4-8 week fully planned regime detailing exact weights to lift and including reverse & traditional pyramid training, straight sets, super sets, progressive overload and more.
