I’m so excited that Undead Unluck is finally releasing, having been excited since I learned about the manga a while back.
After reading some I instantly brought Andy to the site for our first Undead Unluck inspired workout: Andy Undead Unluck Workout.
I was waiting for some more hype with the anime to come out, and now is the perfect time to bring in Fuuko Izumo!
I’m sure we’ll end up having even more and I’ll have a mini-database of Undead Unluck characters to add to the Anime Workouts Database, but from now I’m just excited to get us started in the right direction.
Fuuko Izumo Stats:
Real Name: Fuuko Izumo (Unluck)
Height: 5’1
Weight: N/A
Anime/Manga: Undead Unluck
Powers: Yes
Fuuko Izumo is actually really short.
Even for anime female characters she comes in way below average, and although we don’t have an exact height, we can tell she is overall quite petite.
Supergirl and Erza Scarlet were our shortest at 5’5 before Wasp came in at 5’4 and Kale, Anna and Nina Williams matching her there. BUT, now we have Caulifla at 4’8 and Sailor Moon at 4’11! Katana is just behind her at 5’2.
We had Wonder Woman come in standing 6’0 tall, Mockingbird and Hawkgirl at 5’9, Mystique, Miss Martian, and Sonya Blade at 5’10, and Storm 5’11.
But the average height for female celebrities on the site is generally more-so ranging from 5’4-5’6 – and our Black Widow is just above that at 5’7 with Spider-Gwen, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy at 5’8.
And, the tallest we’d seen before She-Hulk was Starfire at 6’4!
But don’t worry, either way.
Not only are these routines for all shapes and sizes – they also work for both men and women – regardless of the gender of the hero.

Fuuko Izumo Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Fuuko Izumo Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Fuuko Izumo I’ll be pulling right from her Wiki Fandom page, starting with this:
Fuuko Izumo is member no. 10 of the Round Table. She is a Negator with the alias Unluck.
This doesn’t give us much information, but it does lead us in the right direction with some necessary background.
From there I want to move into her appearance section, because just based on our pictures alone in this article it doesn’t really do Unluck any justice.
Here’s how they break it down:
Fuuko is a curvy young girl of short height with brown eyes. She is normally well covered up with jeans, a jumper, gloves and a beanie that has the words “Good Luck” on it. After joining The Union she wears the standard suit and necktie.
She had incredibly long black hair that could reach the ground until Andy cut it to be a short bob during their first encounter.
After the 170 year timeskip and becoming the new leader of the Union, Fuuko not only regrew her incredibly long hair but through nearly two centuries of rigorous training developed a well muscled and athletic physique.
Right off the bat they make mention that Fuuko is curvy, which is something we may not have immediately thought of her at first glance.
When we move down into her abilities we can learn a bit more about what we’re going to be building this one off of, but to start I want to talk about her negator ability: Unluck.
Her Fandom writes this for us:
Unluck: Fuuko has the ability to negate the luck of anyone who touches her bare skin, causing them to suffer great misfortune and in some cases death. The ability won’t trigger by touching her through her clothing, and the misfortune will only begin after the afflicted person has stopped touching her. The effects of her ability are altered by how intimate the touching was and by her relationship with the person in question.
We obviously won’t be looking to replicate this at all, but that is what makes it a good place to start – moving into things that will help us pick the best style of training with what we learn next.
Starting with a brief overview, here’s what they say at the beginning of her ability section:
Fuuko, through her training with the Union and her exploits in the 101st loop, has gained some mastery in martial arts, so much so that she was able to defeat Feng and injure Void. Additionally, she has shown remarkable sharpshooting capabilities, such as when she took out the periscopes of multiple tanks with a sniper rifle.
Her martial arts ability is going to be a bit part of our training, and they actually go into more detail about it here:
Exceptional Martial Artist: Fuuko becomes a great martial artist after being taught and trained by Shen, adopting some of his abilities, learning various techniques, and learning to create her own in conjunction with Unluck. She is very skilled in hand-to-hand combat, beating Feng Kowloon on multiple occasions, holding her own against Void Volks in a boxing match, and defeating multiple fighters alone in Feng’s tournament.
Which lets us focus in on what we’re going to be utilizing for her routine even more.
The goals for our Fuuko Izumo Inspired Workout are going to be:
- Fuuko Izumo’s Slim, Toned but Curvy Aesthetic
- Fuuzo Izuko’s Training with the Union
- Fuuzo Izuko’s Mobility and Martial Arts
This routine won’t be too advanced and will actually lean more towards a beginner workout, but there will be periods where we definitely step it up a notch and you’ll need to be ready for it.
The easy way to still start this one if you are a beginner is to cut out any advanced techniques or intensity circuits we’ll have added in, but you can also start with one of our Beginner Workouts before you level up to this one if you’d like to as well.
The best one to start with, in my opinion, would be our Beginner Ninja Workout.
