I’m a huge Hunter X Hunter fanboy, so the fact that we haven’t had Shizuku land in our Hunter X Hunter Workout Database yet blows my mind.
There are just so many amazing characters to hit.
That’s my excuse anyway. For example, I know we also haven’t hit Canary and a few other HXH characters that definitely deserve their slot.
That being said, Shizuku is going to be a ton of fun and make a great addition to our Anime Workouts Database, as well as our Hunter X Hunter Workout Placement Quiz for you guys.
She didn’t land among our most popular or most powerful characters (top tens), but she’s definitely up their among the fan favorites – especially judging by how many requests have come in for her routine.
Shizuku Stats:
Real Name: Shizuku
Height: 5’3
Weight: 99 lbs.
Anime: Hunter X Hunter
Powers: Yes
Shizuku isn’t the shortest female character we’ve seen, but she is definitely extremely petite.
She comes in below average height, and is under one hundred pounds, and yet is still one of the strongest characters in the anime.
Supergirl and Erza Scarlet were our shortest at 5’5 before Wasp came in at 5’4 and Kale, Anna and Nina Williams matching her there. BUT, now we have Caulifla at 4’8 and Sailor Moon at 4’11! Katana is just behind her at 5’2.
We had Wonder Woman come in standing 6’0 tall, Mockingbird and Hawkgirl at 5’9, Mystique, Miss Martian, and Sonya Blade at 5’10, and Storm 5’11.
But the average height for female celebrities on the site is generally more-so ranging from 5’4-5’6 – and our Black Widow is just above that at 5’7 with Spider-Gwen, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy at 5’8.
And, the tallest we’d seen before She-Hulk was Starfire at 6’4!
But don’t worry, either way.
Not only are these routines for all shapes and sizes – they also work for both men and women – regardless of the gender of the hero.

Shizuku Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Shizuku Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Shizuku we’re going to be pulling from her Wiki Fandom page, which starts off with a very short bio:
Shizuku Murasaki is member #8 of the Phantom Troupe. Her physical strength ranked twelfth among the group.
Thankfully her “Abilities and Powers” section is long enough to far make up for the lack of a bio section.
They start us off by discussing her overall powers level and strengths:
Due to Shizuku being born in Meteor City, her existence is not recorded in any database, which makes obtaining information on her nearly impossible. Shizuku possesses a very unique ability which allows her to delete all traces of the Troupe’s activities. She is also a skilled pickpocket. She can single-handedly overpower competent Nen users and bodyguards like Ivlenkov and Baise, also winning a battle against a Chimera Ant Officer.
From there they go on to discuss each of her individual strengths, which they list as such:
Enhanced Strength: Shizuku ranked twelfth in arm-wrestling among the Troupe. Even though she was using her non-dominant hand, Gon struggled to defeat her during their bout. She was able to kill Ivlenkov and Baise with a single swing of her vacuum cleaner, with which she also managed to knock Nobunaga out for some time (although she struck him from behind) as well as to draw blood from Pike.
Enhanced Speed and Reflexes: Shizuku is at least as fast as many of the other Troupe members, as seen during their pursuit of Kurapika and based on the speed at which she jumped out of a car when Owl landed on it. She was capable of covering her ears in the instant before Uvogin screamed. In her confrontation with Pike, she was able to avoid his web several times, getting caught only when he unleashed his Love Shower, and still managing to create a gap large enough to allow her to escape. She landed 29 blows on him within a few seconds, and quickly jumped away from him after the attack.
Enhanced Agility: Shizuku can run on the sides of buildings and easily jump horizontally from one to another.
Keen Intellect: Shizuku correctly deciphered the month allegory in the Troupe’s fortunes.
Proficient Strategist: Shizuku proved herself to be fairly proficient at finding an enemy’s weak points in a fight, learning the pattern of their movements before they attacked and formulating a plan accordingly. Furthermore, she is a quick thinker, as demonstrated when escaping Pike’s web. In her battle against him, she was able to figure out the speed and range of his web. She wounded him in precise spots in order to prevent him from defending himself against her subsequent attack. However, she is somewhat absent-minded in combat as well and cannot predict every move her opponent makes. After using Blinky to drain Pike of his blood, she realized that he might have avoided death by wrapping himself in his own web to stop the bleeding.
So we’ll be focusing specifically around strength, speed, reflexes and agility for this one.
And of course we’ll also be factoring in Shizuku’s overall petite and toned appearance as well.
Knowing we’re not building this one out with the sole focus of strength, and more-so stealth-like agility and speed – we can focus on more volume and put aesthetics (appearance) at the forefront of the goals.
And, before we finish off, we should at least make mention to her special Nen ability:
Shizuku is a Conjurer. Her Nen ability gives her the power to materialize a vacuum cleaner (named Blinky) that sucks up everything except living things and objects made of Nen. She uses her ability to clean up any traces of evidence the Troupe has left behind. Shalnark stated that Shizuku’s ability is rare. The only other Nen technique that she has demonstrated is Gyo, which she used on her eyes as a precaution against In.
We won’t necessarily be working this into our training, but it’s definitely warranted to know for her overall background.
