Next up among our Chainsaw Man Inspired Workouts is Quanxi!
I love the fact that we’re getting so many awesome female characters from Chainsaw Man, and Quanxi is the obvious next choice to join our other workouts.
Oddly enough (odd because we normally see the opposite) we actually have both our female characters in the weight training category and two male characters in the calisthenics category, just getting our first male weight training routine with our Kishibe Inspired Workout – so for Quanxi I’m going to make it a point to get a female calisthenics routine in there for you guys.
We have tons of members in The SHJ Army that want to train strictly calisthenics/bodyweight training, so it’s nice to be able to diversify it a bit with these fun characters.
Quanxi Stats:
Real Name: Quanxi
Height: Fan Guesstimate: 6’1
Weight: N/A
Anime: Chainsaw Man
Powers: Yes
Quanxi’s height is just a fan guesstimate, but judging by what they were basing their guess off of I’m fairly confident they’re pretty accurate.
Which means Quanxi is definitely above average among female characters we’ve had in our Anime Workouts Database.
Supergirl and Erza Scarlet were our shortest at 5’5 before Wasp came in at 5’4 and Kale, Anna and Nina Williams matching her there. BUT, now we have Caulifla at 4’8 and Sailor Moon at 4’11! Katana is just behind her at 5’2.
We had Wonder Woman come in standing 6’0 tall, Mockingbird and Hawkgirl at 5’9, Mystique, Miss Martian, and Sonya Blade at 5’10, and Storm 5’11.
But the average height for female celebrities on the site is generally more-so ranging from 5’4-5’6 – and our Black Widow is just above that at 5’7 with Spider-Gwen, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy at 5’8.
And, the tallest we’d seen before She-Hulk was Starfire at 6’4!
But don’t worry, either way.
Not only are these routines for all shapes and sizes – they also work for both men and women – regardless of the gender of the hero.

Quanxi Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Quanxi Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Quanxi I’ll be pulling right from her Wiki Fandom page which starts us off with this:
Quanxi, also known as The First Devil Hunter, is a renowned devil hunter from China.
Not too much information to start, but we’re lucky enough to have some good information about her abilities to go on.
To start I’ll be discussing her Physical Prowess as they explain it, and then we’ll also go into her Hybrid Abilities as well to really round out her character.
Here’s how they explain her Physical Abilities:
- Enhanced Strength: Quanxi possesses a level of strength having been described by Hirofumi Yoshida as being beyond what is humanly capable. When wielding swords, she can cut through dozens of humans and dolls without slowing down and only stopped once her weapons were destroyed by the force of her own attacks. Even a blocked strike was enough to knock out both Aki and Angel.
- Enhanced Speed: Even in her human form, Quanxi possesses superhuman speed. She could disappear from the sights of five devil hunters by blitzing past them while cutting through an army of dolls created by the Doll Devil, before the original five devil hunters realized they had already been killed.
- Enhanced Reflexes: Quanxi has superhuman reflexes, her time perception can keep up with her own superhuman speed. She can also dodge attacks rapidly and even stop a moving knife with her fingers.
So right off the bat we know we are going to be building this one around strength and speed.
If we move down into her Hybrid Abilities it shows us just how powerful Quanxi is:
- Hybrid Transformation: By pulling an arrow out of her right eye socket, Quanxi can transform into a hybrid with many arrows and spikes emerging from her arms and head.
- Arrow Shooting: In her Hybrid form, Quanxi is equiped with crossbows in her arms which can shoot several arrows at her targets. These arrows are shown to be quite powerful as they are able to tear perfectly circular holes into whatever Quanxi shoots. She can also use this ability to defeat enemies from close range by firing a buckshot to wipe out a group of enemies quickly.
- Blood Consumption: As a hybrid, Quanxi is able to heal wounds by consuming blood, regenerating her entire body from just a head.
- Nigh-Immortality: Due to being a hybrid, Quanxi is immortal and nearly unkillable. Despite likely being over 50 years old, Quanxi still looks the same way she did 30 years ago. Even if she dies, as long as someone pulls her arrow, Quanxi can come back to life in perfect condition.
Normally I’d want to lean in with some hybrid training system using weights and calisthenics for this one, but I want to make sure we get a female calisthenics into our Chainsaw Man Inspired Workout – so we’re sticking to it for Quanxi.
We can still get strong, and we can definitely get lean and fast like Quanxi as well; so this one will be fun to build.
That means the goals for our Quanxi Inspired Workout are:
- Quanxi’s Enhanced Strength and Speed
- Quanxi’s Assassin-Like Body Control (and Swordsmanship Control)
- Quanxi’s Lean and Toned Physique
For that we’ll be using an intermediate to advanced level calisthenics workout that shouldn’t need too much scaling for most members, but is capable of being scaled as needed.
If it’s too intense for you, you can also go ahead and start with our Beginner Ninja Workout as well.
