Maki Zenin’s workout will land us two Jujutsu Kaisen inspired workout routines in one week.
How’s that for adding some more Jujutsu Kaisen to our Anime Workouts Database!?
Jujutsu Kaisen is proving to be one of the more popular new anime shows to come out recently along with some other new seasons and even a few more shows we plan on bringing to SHJ real soon.
So far we’ve had our Satoru Gojo Workout and our Yuji Itadori Workout, and this week we also added our Aoi Todo Workout to that list as well; but it was definitely time to get a female Jujutsu Kaisen character here at SHJ while we clearly have more to come.
With all the requests we’ve been getting for more, before you know it we’ll be adding Jujutsu Kaisen to our growing list of mini-workout-database in our Workout Database!

At 5’7 Maki Zenin is actually quite tall.
She’s not one of the tallest, but she’d actually be considered above average height among celebrity females at SHJ.
Supergirl and Erza Scarlet were our shortest at 5’5 before Wasp came in at 5’4 and Kale, Anna and Nina Williams matching her there. BUT, now we have Caulifla at 4’8 and Sailor Moon at 4’11! Katana is just behind her at 5’2.
We had Wonder Woman come in standing 6’0 tall, Mockingbird and Hawkgirl at 5’9, Mystique, Miss Martian, and Sonya Blade at 5’10, and Storm 5’11.
But the average height for female celebrities on the site is generally more-so ranging from 5’4-5’6 – and our Black Widow is just above that at 5’7 with Spider-Gwen, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy at 5’8.
And, the tallest we’d seen before She-Hulk was Starfire at 6’4!
But don’t worry, either way.
Not only are these routines for all shapes and sizes – they also work for both men and women – regardless of the gender of the hero.

Maki Zenin Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero, unless I mentioned differently (for example someone like Hulk may get something specifically different)**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.

Maki Zenin Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To get us started I want to immediately pull a quick bio for Maki from her Wiki Fandom.
Here’s what they tell us about her:
Maki Zenin is a major supporting character in Jujutsu Kaisen and one of the main protagonists of the Prequel Series.
She is currently a second-year at Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College. Originally from the Zenin family, Maki left on her own due to being rejected for her lack of cursed energy. She studies to become a strong sorcerer despite her own family working against her.
And, like Aoi Todo, they also tell us a lot about Maki’s overall skill level.
Here’s what they tell us for that:
Maki’s Grade 4 Sorcerer ranking is not at all reflective of her actual ability in battle. Her promotion was stalled for years due to the Zenin family and she can easily exorcise a Grade 2 curse. Her physical prowess is second only to Yuji’s among the students and she is a master of a wide assortment of different weapons. Wielding cursed tools, Maki is an effective sorcerer despite her lack of cursed energy because she makes up for it with astonishing physical abilities.
Compared to other jujutsu students, Maki is often underestimated. However, she was able to effortlessly overwhelm Kasumi Miwa as well as completely dominate her sister in a fight. Against special grade cursed spirits, Maki has proven to be a valuable asset in battle. She and Megumi were able to buy enough time against Hanami for reinforcements to arrive. While fighting alongside Naobito and Nanami against Dagon, Maki was a step slower than the seasoned Grade 1 sorcerer but was still able to hold her own as well.
On top of that they also give us the rundown on some of her specific abilities.

We’re going to be utilizing 4 days of HIIT training utilizing Upper/Lower Body Splits and Calisthenics, and then on top of that you’ll add in endurance, parkour and/or MMA training as well.
