We’ve had Nikaido from Dorohedoro in our Anime Workouts Database, but now it’s time to bring in Noi!
Tons of requests came in recently, including on TikTok, which were enough to warrant bumping her up the list without even needing to include her in the votes we’re doing on our social platforms [weekly].
Noi recently came in among the runner ups on our list of the most muscular female anime characters.
And it’s amazing she wasn’t topping the list – but I suppose that just means we have a ton of awesome jacked female characters!
For this one you better be ready to lift heavy with the goal to get BIG and gain mass.

Height: 6’10
Weight: 273 lbs.

Powers: Yes
Noi is huge.
She’s not as tall as Big Mom (One Piece), but outside of her, she’s one of (if not THE) tallest female anime character we’ve seen here at SHJ.
Supergirl and Erza Scarlet were our shortest at 5’5 before Wasp came in at 5’4 and Kale, Anna and Nina Williams matching her there. BUT, now we have Caulifla at 4’8 and Sailor Moon at 4’11! Katana is just behind her at 5’2.
We had Wonder Woman come in standing 6’0 tall, Mockingbird and Hawkgirl at 5’9, Mystique, Miss Martian, and Sonya Blade at 5’10, and Storm 5’11.
But the average height for female celebrities on the site is generally more-so ranging from 5’4-5’6 – and our Black Widow is just above that at 5’7 with Spider-Gwen, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy at 5’8.
And, the tallest we’d seen before She-Hulk was Starfire at 6’4!
But don’t worry, either way.

Noi Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.

Noi Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Noi we’re going to be pulling right from her Wiki Fandom page, which leads us off with a brief bio section:
Noi is an elite Magic-User, and the partner and long-time friend of Shin. She works with him as a cleaner for En, who is her older cousin.
From there we can immediately go on to learn about her magic, which her Fandom page breaks down as such:
Noi’s power is healing, which is one of the rarest magic types. Her power is often used in the manga to heal Ebisu or the people that En turns into mushrooms. Thanks to her ability, Noi can heal herself quickly and without physically releasing the smoke. This makes her exceptionally resilient to physical attacks and virtually unkillable. She can also seemingly repair damaged objects, as seen when she healed Shins arm after it was melted, and seemingly restored his hammer to its original state.
Outside of knowing that her magic makes her “resilient to physical attacks and virtually unkillable”, there’s not much here we can use in terms of our workout routine.
That information isn’t even directly correlated to something we can train around, other than being able to build mass.
What we’re really going to be building this one around is Noi’s massive physique anyway – which her Fandom page breaks down as follows [within her appearance section]:
Noi has silver-white hair and red eyes. She is the fourth tallest character in the series and is very muscular. As a result, other characters are often unsure of their gender at first, until she speaks or takes off her mask. Her ears are pierced multiple times, with five piercings on each ear.
So be ready for heavy weights and a routine built around getting big and STRONG!
Ladies who want to tack on mass, don’t forget you’ll need to be in a caloric surplus to build muscle mass, although you can build strength (and sometimes muscle) in a maintenance and deficit (assuming you have a lot of weight to lose or you’re new to resistance training).

For this one we’re going to be using a modified “Bro Split” – which will be our Noi Split. For that we’ll revolve around our four big compound lifts and then tack in accessory work on top – but I’ll also have some extra arm work to revolve around Noi’s aesthetic.
