You guys have been loving the Record of Ragnarok Inspired Workouts (so much so that I even put together a mini-anime database for them).
Which means I’m going to keep them coming.
Similar to Kengan Ashura, ROR just happens to be a manga/anime that we haven’t had as many characters for [yet] and now that we’re bringing them on you guys are flooding the request form with more.
As we get more seasons (fingers crossed at least) I’m sure we’ll get even more request, but I already have a handful of characters you guys already made very clear you want to see ASAP.
For now Shiva will be on the regular Anime Workout Placement Quiz, until we have an ROR one at least!
Shiva Stats:
Real Name: Shiva
Height: N/A
Weight: N/A
Anime: Record of Ragnarok
Powers: Yes
We don’t get any good stats for our ROR characters, but we do know Shiva is clearly huge.
Not just the four arms, but also the muscle mass and overall appearance shown make it clear we’re dealing with a behemoth!
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Shiva ROR Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Shiva ROR Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Shiva we’re going to be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page starting with:
Shiva is the Gods’ representative in the fifth round of Ragnarok, going against Raiden Tameemon.
Shiva is a prominent deity and the leader of the Hindu Pantheon. He is a Chief God and is often considered to be the strongest God of Destruction/Bhairava and the greatest brawler in Heaven.
They start off with high praise for Shiva, so I’m excited to continue on into his abilities section.
I probably don’t have to point out the obvious when it comes to his physique and the fact that it’s shredded and muscular at every inch – so we will clearly have our work cut out for us there.
Here’s how they break down his powers and abilities:
Godly Strength: During his battle with Rudra, their clashes sent massive shock waves throughout Svarga and the sound of their punches echoed through the entire land. As said by the other Gods, Shiva has great strength. He managed to grab a punch and a knee from Raiden and send him flying across the arena with his 4 arms, hitting him in the abdomen and making him fall back after the blow. After recovering from Raiden’s header, Shiva quickly delivered a sequence of punches with his 4 arms that made Raiden retreat backwards with the pressure of his punches being compared to the cannon fire causing several injuries. After having one of his arms crushed, and deciding to fight more seriously, Shiva’s punches was able to blow away Raiden, even with his guard up. Kisaburo Onogawa compared his punches to the force of an entire cannon.
Godly Speed & Reflexes: Shiva managed to block Raiden’s punch right after being hit hard on the head and also blocked his knee after taking another blow to the head, thus already attacking after defending himself. Shiva, after recovering from Raiden’s headbutt, he quickly counter attacked with a sequence of punches that made Raiden retreat backwards, taking time to react to all blows with one on the head and one on the ribs. After using the Hidden Treasure of Svarga, Shiva’s speed increased to the point of leaving multiple afterimages, allowing him to evade Raiden’s attacks and overwhelm him with multi-hit attacks.
Godly Durability: According to Shiva, the most resistant part of the body is its head which, according to him, is solid as rock. Shiva took two full blows from Raiden on the head and quickly recovered by spitting some blood, also held his knee with both hands if he suffered damage. he endured a full-head header from Raiden, injuring him when he collided with his head.
Godly Endurance & Stamina: Shiva has displayed immense pain tolerance, being capable of staying conscious and continue fighting even after losing three of his arms. During his fight with Rudra, the sweat that flowed from their duel became a heavy rain that rained down upon the entire land, yet despite their fight possibly lasting for hours, Shiva showed no signs of dehydration by the end of it.
The good news is: in order to train around all of this it’s also going to work hand in hand with what we’re going to need to do to unlock anything even close to his physique – so at least we’re on the right track here.
Just to be clear about what we’re working around with this workout:
- Shiva’s Shredded/Muscular Physique
- Godly Strength and Speed
- Godly Endurance and Stamina
That means you better get yourself ready for high intensity, high volume, and potentially some heavy lifting.
If weight training isn’t for you, and you’re just realizing that this one isn’t in our calisthenics workouts, you can always head over there and switch it up.
