This is a big moment for us..
If you’ve missed me hyping it up for a while now, what I’m referring to is the fact that we’re finally ready to get our Most Powerful Anime Characters OF ALL TIME listicle here at SHJ.
Our Anime Workouts Database has exploded in both anticipation of us being able to get a HUGE listicle up like this one, and just based on the fact that everyone is LOVING anime in general right now.
Even Netflix shared insane viewership numbers for anime across the platform, and stated it’s not strictly due to the pandemic and binge wathcing.
Anime is here to stay, and we’re happy about that!
Kenshiro Stats:
Real Name: Kenshiro
Height: 6’1
Weight: 220 lbs.
Anime: First of The North Star
Powers: No
Kenshiro is pretty big compared to most anime characters we’ve seen.
He’d only be average height among male celebrities we’ve had at SHJ but his 220 lbs. definitely makes him one of the bigger statures at that height.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Kenshiro Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero, unless I mentioned differently (for example someone like Hulk may get something specifically different)**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Kenshiro Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To dive into Kenshiro’s background I went through a handful of different Wiki Fandom pages.
To start us off I’m going to give a super brief bio from his Hero Wiki Fandom, which tells us:
Kenshiro (Ken for short) is the main hero in the Fist of the North Star franchise. He is the 64th successor of the Hokuto Shinken style and considered one of the greatest successors in its history.
His Hokuto Fandom page tells us a bit about his origins as well, stating:
Kenshiro was originally an orphan from Taiseiden, Shura and a descendent of the Hokuto Sōke bloodline. He was sent to the mainland by Jukei as a baby to be adopted by Ryuken, master of Hokuto Shinken. Ryuken named him after his older brother Kenshirō Kasumi, since they shared the same Big Dipper-shaped birthmark on their heads.
Kenshiro watched his adoptive brothers train in the art of Hokuto Shinken and decided to join them in the fight to become Ryuken’s successor. Despite being younger and more naive than his older brothers, Kenshiro was a promising student who ultimately earned the title of successor.
And then finally we also have some information from his Character Profile Fandom, but we’ll be specifically using that one to dive into some of his powers and abilities.
First though, I do want to pull his list of four powers and abilities that his Hero Fandom has for us, just to give us a jump start, and also because I think it’s a fun list:
- Absolute Unarmed Combat
- Badassery
- Pressure Point Intuition
- Body Supremacy
They do give a bit of depth to each one in the form of explanations, including badassery where they explain that he is able to perform stunts that no mere human should ever be able to accomplish.
But his Character Profile Fandom definitely gives a much more diverse list, sharing:
- Incredible Strength: Kenshiro has displayed great feats of strength as he can easily destroy boulders to nothing with just a mere flick of his wrist and easily bend steel with just his bare hands.
- Incredible Healing Factor: Kenshiro possesses healing factor as he can resist toxins and poisons, and gas that can paralyse people.
- Superhuman Senses: Kenshiro has superhuman senses that surpasses that of a human. His eyesight can keep up with the arrow’s speed, detect and resist many forms of poisons & toxins, has hearing and smell comparable that of a hound, can detect the presence of beings during training, is immune to mass hypnosis, and able to fight blind by detecting the person’s heart.
- Adaptability: Kenshiro’s greatest aspect. He can analysis the abilities and powers of others by just watching and able to adapt it. He can also exploit the foes’ weaknesses to his advatange.
- Master Martial Artist: Kenshiro is a master of martial arts. He can fight many legions of trained armored warriors, barbarians, and even giants with just his bare hands with ease. Kenshiro has learned many fighting styles such as boxing style fight and many more.
So for this we’re going to focus in on a few things: strength, badassery (we’ll use calisthenics and parkour training for this), and mixed martial arts (we’ll use bonus resources and training programs for this).
It’ll be high volume, but totally worth the gains.
