Our My Hero Academia Inspired Workouts Database is one of our largest “mini” databases within our Anime Workouts Database.
And for good reason!
Our Unofficial My Hero Academia Workout Booklet is also our most popular booklet, and not just during new season hype!
Now it’s time to bring in a true BEAST, shall we call him a Gevaudan?
Jurota Shishida, AKA Gevaudan, is a super fun character to not only build a routine around, but also have showing up on the site due to what we saw from him this current season.
He doesn’t quite make it onto our list of The Most Powerful My Hero Academia Students or even The Most Popular My Hero Academia Characters – but you can bet he’ll be firing up our My Hero Academia Workout Placement Quiz a bit!
Gevaudan Stats:
Real Name: Jurota Shishida
Height: 5’8 1/2
Weight: N/A
Anime: My Hero Academia
Powers: Yes
Gevaudan is described as “tall”, but his 5’8 1/2 isn’t quite that tall compared to some of the behemoths within our databases.
The “tall” description may be in relation to the fact that his other classmates usually come in around 5’4-5’7 range, though.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Gevaudan Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Gevaudan Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
In order to build this routine out we’re going to need to pull some more information about Gevaudan to learn morea bout the powers and abilities (his awesome Quirk) we’re working with.
For that I’ll start with his brief bio (we’re used to them being short by now), from his Wiki Fandom page:
Jurota Shishida, also known as Gevaudan, is a student in Class 1-B at U.A. High School, training to become a Pro Hero.
But don’t worry: his abilities section does a great job catching us up to speed with what we’re working with and makes up for the lack of a bio section!
Here’s how they start us off with a bit about his overall abilities:
Overall Abilities: Jurota has proven himself to be one of the strongest members of Class 1-B; Jurota’s ferocity and Quirk handling have earned him commendations of being a very powerful combatant. With his Quirk, Beast, Jurota becomes so powerful, it becomes difficult to defeat him in a head-to-head battle, especially since his power grants him an incredible increase in his physical prowess. In his Beast form, Jurota runs on all fours and attacks his opponents by mauling them.
During the Joint Training Battle, Jurota displayed his ability to singlehandedly overpower multiple opponents, even when they outnumber him. Even after being shocked by Denki Kaminari, Jurota effortlessly subdued him, Koji Koda, and Eijiro Kirishima, the latter being one of the most formidable students of Class 1-A. His abilities eventually garnered the attention of the Lion Hero: Shishido, giving Jurota the opportunity to intern under the No. 13 Pro Hero, and improve on his flurry of attacks and the ability to read ahead of situations.
They also move on to discuss his keen intellect which is definitely common among our heroes that we see here at SHJ.
From there they move onto what’s really going to decide how we go about building out this routine.
Here’s how they break down his Quirk: Beast:
Beast: Jurota’s Quirk allows him transform into a large, monstrous beast-man. This monster form drastically augments his strength, speed, and durability, as well as his senses of hearing and smell. While he is transformed, he becomes more wild, making him reckless.
- Enhanced Strength: In his beast form, Jurota’s strength is enhanced to the point where he can send a person crashing through a wall or flying into the air with a single swipe of his claws. His augmented strength also extends to his legs, allowing him increased jumping capabilities that can damage the platforms he jumps onto.
- Enhanced Speed: Despite the augmented physique his Quirk grants him, Jurota has shown to be much faster than before, being capable of quickly evading surprise attacks, and swiftly jump from various platforms.
- Enhanced Durability: Jurota’s durability is much higher when in his beast form, as he can withstand jolts of electricity generated by Denki, and continue fighting effectively against the former’s team without showing any signs of hinderance from being electrocuted.
- Enhanced Senses: With his Quirk activated, Jurota’s senses are significantly sharpened, allowing him to detect the team members of Class 1-A with ease, as well as aid Jurota in dodging surprise attacks.
Now this is what we’re really going to be training to obtain.
That means we’re going to be weightlifting to build both the beast levels of strength and speed, which thankfully will both come from the same kind of training.
We’ll also tack on a U.A. Hero Circuit Test to add a bit of flair, but for the most part we’ll be pulling from our Academy 90 Day System and even our Behemoth 90 Day System.
So be ready to lift heavy but also train like a well rounded hero!
