We already had our Gogeta Inspired Workout land inside our Dragon Ball Z Workout Database, and now it’s time for Vegito to join him there.
You guys have been requesting our Vegito workout to see what it’s like to go back and forth between Gogeta and Vegito – and we’re finally getting to him as it’s been a long enough time since we’ve added a DBZ character to the site.
Our DBZ database is right up there with the most popular along with Naruto and My Hero Academia within our Anime Workouts Database, so while they do get tons of requests – I do like to try to spread the characters out as much as I can.
And, as you guys know, I’m a huge DBZ fanboy – so postponing some of my favorite characters isn’t always an easy task!
Plus, we obviously need to have Vegito on our DBZ Workout Placement Quiz if we already have Gogeta!
Vegito Stats:
Real Name: Vegito
Height: 6’2″ (gains half an inch each SSJ form)
Weight: 252 lbs. / 275 lbs. (in SSJ3 form)
Anime: Dragon Ball Z
Powers: Yes
Vegito is actually quite tall.
Goku and Vegeta come in much shorter, and Vegito is at a much higher range – only being overtaken by some of our behemoths!
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.

Vegito Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.

Vegito Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Vegito we’re going to be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page, which leads off his initial bio with this:
Vegetto, Vegito in some English translations, is the fusion of Goku and Vegeta through the use of the Potara Earrings. He is the romantic partner of Bulma and the father of Gohan, Trunks, Goten and Bra. In Universe 16. Vegetto never unfused into Goku and Vegeta due to keeping up his barrier while being absorbed by Majin Buu, whereas in Universe 18, Vegetto let down his barrier, resulting in Vegetto unfusing into his two components. The Z-Fighters later asked Porunga to undo the fusion, but the wish was denied because the wish was beyond his power. After a certain period of reflections about their lives and feelings, Vegetto chose Bulma over Chi-Chi and entered a relationship with her, later fathering a daughter with her.
He is recognized as the strongest being in the universe and is even worshiped as a God by a few alien races. He is one of the guardians of Universe 16, along with his son and daughter, Gohan and Bra.
So right off the bat we know we’re going to have our work cut out for us.
One thing I want to point out is that last line: recognized as the strongest being in the universe”.
When we move down into Vegito’s powers and abilities section they lead us off with this:
As a fusion of Vegeta and Gokū, with their power combined into one, therefore, making an tremendously powerful Saiyan fusion beyond imagination. Vegetto was already the most powerful character to appear in the Dragon Ball manga. That holds somewhat true in Dragon Ball Multiverse as he is currently the most powerful confirmed protagonist, or of the Z-Fighters.
They then move on to discuss some specific powers and abilities here:
Enhanced Physiology: As a Saiyan, he possesses superhuman strength, speed, and endurance. His physique and training allows him to hold his breath for an extremely extended period of time even while in space. One of the best examples that displays Vegetto’s raw strength was while being a Super Saiyan, he was able to easily fling Broly several yards at great speeds towards a chunk of the floating arena, whom was in his heavy Legendary Super Saiyan state.
Permanent Merger: Due to how absolute the fusion is from the Potara Earrings, not even Porunga can separate him since it beyond his power.
High Metabolism: Despite becoming super fat after eating for one hour straight, within the same hour Vegetto is restored to his regular physique with no ill effects.
Ki Hiding: The ability to mask your energy to negligible levels. When Vegetto self banished himself into exile, he used this power to completely hide from Gohan, Goten, and Trunks for over two months.
Excellent Hunter and Survivalist: Due to having both the memories of Goku and Vegeta, Vegetto can easily thrive in the wilderness since can can fish and catch anything within range.
Analytic expert of Goku and Vegeta: Due to possessing the full memories of his progenitors, Vegetto knows many irrefutable facts about them.
Gravity Manipulation: As a side effect of becoming a Super Saiyan 3, Vegetto automatically becomes a new center of gravity where objects and people will start floating towards him. Trunks states that his mass increased while Gohan equates Vegetto to having the same mass as the moon, yet a level of density close to a black hole. It unknown if Vegetto can control this or not, but it likely the former since his subsequent usages doesn’t display the gravity effect.
The enhanced physiology is the section we’re going to be working with the most.
We’ll need to revolve our strength speed and endurance training around one of the most powerful characters in the entire series.
So be prepared for high volume, high intensity, and a super high level workout.
Of course you can scale all of these workouts down to your own level, but I do want to make it clear it’s going to be a lot of work going in.

Explanation:
In order to train like Vegito we’re going to be using 4 days of weight training to increase our strength and speed, which will also include some light cardio and core – and then one day entirely devoted to a super intense Vegito Circuit Test, and a final day devoted entirely to endurance work.

For your endurance, HIIT or MMA/Parkour days you have quite a few options.
You can utilize enforced endurance training that I will program for you based on your fitness level like we do with other workouts here at SHJ…OR you can do 45-60+ minutes of varied cardio (bike, treadmill, elliptical, stairs, row, swim, etc.)…OR you can even use the HIIT resources I’ll provide.
I’ll break it down in that order:
Option One – Run Based on Overall Fitness Level:
Beginner: 1-3 Miles
Intermediate: 3-5 Miles
Advanced: 5+ Miles

Hey! I was just wondering if you could do a Bra workout routine (the one from the Universe 16 in multiverse) since I think she’s quite an underrated character and is considered in the manga being almost (if not) stronger than Vegetto, could be interesting.
