It’s time to bring in another Kengan Ashura character and behemoth to our Anime Workouts.
We’ve already seen a couple other Kengan Ashura characters, and you guys are have been requesting tons since the announcement of another reason coming to Netflix.
In preparation of more coming in to join Imai Cosmo and Ohma Tokita I’ve already went ahead and set up our Kengan Ashura Inspired Workouts mini-database.
We’re going to have some other massive giants come in from Kengan Ashura, just like we have within our Baki Inspired Workouts, to join Kanoh (like Julius Reinhold, for example), but for now I’m excited to have Kanoh joining our Anime Workouts Placement Quiz.
We will obviously be training to get MASSIVE.
Kanoh Agito Stats:
Real Name: Kanoh Agito
Height: 6’7
Weight: 282 lbs.
Anime: Kengan Ashura
Powers: Yes/No
Kanoh Agito is gigantic.
We do have other huge male anime characters within our databases (for comparison, Julius is 6’9), but Kanoh’s size and weight would make him one of the tallest males we’ve seen if compared to male celebrities (average men).
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Kanoh Agito Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Kanoh Agito Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about just who we’re working with here I’ll be pulling information right from Kanoh Agito’s Wiki Fandom page, which leads us off with a bio section that states:
Kanoh Agito is the former affiliate fighter for Dainippon Bank, for whom he fought as The Fifth Fang of Metsudo. He represented the company during the Kengan Annihilation Tournament; widely regarded as the most powerful fighter in the tournament and the favorite to win. While he was active, he was #1 in the Kengan affiliated fighter ranks. Following his loss, Agito stepped down as Fang and retired as a fighter. Two years since then, he lived in the United States, but returned to compete in the Kengan Association VS Purgatory Tournament.
And when we make our way into his powers and abilities section we learn just how insanely strong he is.
Here’s how they start us off, telling us about his overall power level:
Agito Kanoh is an incredibly powerful all-round fighter who is known as the Emperor of the Kengan matches. He possesses immense physical stats on top of nearly unmatched fighting capabilities. His attacks are notably powerful, his kicks particular; Naoya Okubo imagined Agito’s kicks like a meat cleaver and Sen Hatsumi likened his kicks to a naginata.
His durability is also quite impressive, managing to reach the semi-finals without taking much lasting damage despite taking numerous heavy hits from opponents as strong as Ohkubo Naoya and Kaolan Wongsawat. His power was praised by the likes of Kure Erioh, the first Fang, who considers him his worthy successor.
From there they also go on to talk about his Evolution, Formless, Martial Arts, Dragon Shot and Niko Style.
We’ll be touching on some of these points, starting with his Evolution:
Evolution is Agito’s chief defining ability as stated by Metsudo. More specifically, he is able to adapt to his opponent’s fighting style after fighting them for enough time, and put together a new style specifically tailor-made to counteract his opponent in the middle of a fight. This essentially has the effect of Agito growing stronger with every fight he takes part in. His fighting style and “evolution” can sometimes backfire on him, however; because his wide range of moves, when fighting a combatant who is a master in multiple styles, it is hard for him to choose a perfect way to counter. In his fight with Kaolan, Agito was unable to counter his combination of boxing and Muay Thai and was forced to go into defensive.
We could expand on all this if we want, but we really already know what we’re training around:
- Agito’s “Immense Physical Stats”
- Agito’s Massive Physique and Muscle Mass
I’ll be also throwing in extra training resources if you want to tack on some of our mixed martial arts workouts – but the basis of this one is going to be to bulk up and build as much muscle mass as we possibly can.

Kanoh Agito Workout Routine
Training Volume:
5+ days per week
Explanation:
For this one we’re going to be training around a 5 day split with bonus core and cardio based around fighters and martial artists we’ve seen in our databases. As I mentioned above, the base goal and training structure will be centered around building muscle mass, but I’ll also be factoring in the obvious: that Kanoh Agito is one of the best fighters in the entire anime. With that, I’ll also be including a Fifth Fang Circuit Test for you guys to test your skills on weekly, biweekly, or monthly.
Want To Upgrade This Workout?
The Superhero Academy now comes with an Upgrade Your Workout Tool that allows Academy members to turn any SHJ workout into a 4-8 week fully planned regime detailing exact weights to lift and including reverse & traditional pyramid training, straight sets, super sets, progressive overload and more.
