Our Naruto Inspired Workout Database is one of the largest anime databases on the entire site – and we can’t keep growing it without another take on our Kakashi Inspired Workout.
This time we’re coming back in for a calisthenics variation.
We have been adding calisthenics variations to a handful of different characters being that we have so many members of our SHJ Army that train strictly using bodyweight workouts – and now we’ve finally made it to Kakashi.
Each week I add another [minimum of] two to three calisthenics workouts to the site, and lately most of them have been characters we’ve already seen before that you guys want another take on.
So this is nothing new, but it will still be awesome for our Naruto Workout Placement Quiz nonetheless.
Kakashi Hatake Stats:
Real Name: Kakashi Hatake
Height: 5’9
Weight: 149 lbs.
Anime: Naruto
Powers: Yes
Kakashi isn’t really “tall” but he’s actually considered slightly above average height if we compare him directly to other male anime characters.
But if we compare him to male celebrities or superheroes (or even the behemoths in our Anime Workouts Database), he would be considered below average.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Kakashi Hatake Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Kakashi Hatake Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Kakashi we’ll be pulling directly from his Wiki Fandom page, which will help us build out this routine in a specific way.
Kakashi Hatake is a shinobi of Konohagakure’s Hatake clan. Famed as Kakashi of the Sharingan, he is one of Konoha’s most talented ninja, regularly looked to for advice and leadership despite his personal dislike of responsibility. To his students on Team 7, Kakashi emphasises the importance of teamwork; he himself received this lesson, along with the Sharingan, from his childhood friend, Obito Uchiha. After the Fourth Shinobi World War, Kakashi becomes Konoha’s Sixth Hokage.
We know Kakashi as one of the best anime mentors of all time, but for this one, instead of him giving us the instructions and taking the lead, we’re going to be training like him!
If we move on to his powers and abilities we learn a ton of information right from the section about his overall skill level:
A prodigy with skills inherited from Konoha’s White Fang, Kakashi is one of his village’s strongest shinobi produced, and has earned recognition on sight by various high-level ninja. Kakashi showcased highly advanced skill from a young age, evidenced by his rapid rise through the ninja ranks. His prowess is said to rival an entire country. The S-Rank members of Akatsuki acknowledge his might; he outmaneuvered Itachi Uchiha (albeit he couldn’t use his Mangekyō Sharingan at the time); fought Kisame Hoshigaki and Kakuzu to a standstill; and was deemed a major threat by Pain. After Kaguya’s defeat, Kakashi’s combat prowess continued to increase, despite the loss of his Sharingan, due to no longer needing to passively expend chakra because he could not deactivate it like an Uchiha. Against Koji Kashin, one of Kara’s strongest Inners, Kakashi was able to pressure the foe into retreating.
In general, Kakashi is very versatile with advanced proficiency in countless areas including mastery of all three main ninja skills; Naruto Uzumaki says Kakashi is smarter than Shikamaru Nara, has a better sense of smell than Kiba Inuzuka, is more adept with the Sharingan than Sasuke Uchiha, and has better taijutsu skill than Rock Lee, each of whom are well-known for their high capacities in their respective areas. Kakashi’s genjutsu prowess is able to use basic techniques to major effect for intimidation and distraction. Kakashi’s combat and tactical prowess are so revered, that many foresaw his rise to Hokage status years before it happened. However, the Sage of Six Paths believed Kakashi’s greatest strength is as a teacher, leader, and friend, all of which proved vital in Kaguya Ōtsutsuki’s defeat.
With this, if we didn’t already know it, we can now clearly tell we’re training around an extremely powerful character.
When we move into his Chakra and Physical Prowess they actually don’t tell us all that much about his physical strength:
Originally, by his own admission, Kakashi’s chakra reserves were average. He could only use the Lightning Cutter four or Kamui three times per day. At the same time, he makes up for it with superb control, requiring no more than the minimum required amount to perform his technique, even able to do so with a single hand. However by Part II, Kakashi’s reserves increased to a considerable size, shown when he used both techniques repeatedly during the final battle of the Fourth Great Shinobi war with only minor strain and exhaustion. In later years, his reserve allowed him to create and maintaining four collective massive walls for a few days and casually utilise his Purple Electricity numerous times.
Kakashi’s taijutsu can take various approaches in close combat. His time in the Anbu enables him to suddenly approach enemies from behind, unnoticed by even other Anbu. Also, his ongoing competitions with Might Guy make him just as comfortable attacking from the front, striking with blazing speed and debilitating precision to quickly defeat multiple enemies. Kakashi is able to open at least one of the Eight Gates. He is strong enough to wield Kubikiribōchō with one hand for extended periods of time unfazed, has reflexes sharp enough to block attacks he is unable to see, and has immense speed that allows him to perform hand seals at unreadable rates.
But we can make note of the fact that they point out the last section discussing his strength and speed.
Here is is again so that we know exactly what we’re referring to:
He is strong enough to wield Kubikiribōchō with one hand for extended periods of time unfazed, has reflexes sharp enough to block attacks he is unable to see, and has immense speed that allows him to perform hand seals at unreadable rates.
Wielding the Kubikiribōchō is definitely no easy task.
So we know this is what we’re going to be training around:
- Kakashi’s Lean and Toned Aesthetic
- Immense Speed and Strength
And if you missed it earlier: we’re going to be training strictly with bodyweight training for this one for all our calisthenics users out there in The SHJ Army.
This one will be built around an intermediate to advanced level, but will also be super scalable if needed.
