Lee Sin has always been my go-to champion; taking him into virtually every role.
Even after creating SHJ and working on it for nearly a decade now, I still never thought we’d be getting a Lee Sin inspired workout, though.
But here we are.
You guys have been loving our Arcane / Riot Games Inspired Workouts, which also, obviously, have our League of Legends Inspired Workouts within them.
Originally I dropped two or three League inspired routines, but without them being in our Anime Workouts Database or Superhero Workouts Database, most people never even found out they were there. Then I dropped some Arcane characters and the requests for more haven’t stopped!
I’m even planning on bringing in some Valorant characters soon based on the requests I see coming in.
Lee Sin Stats:
Real Name: Lee Sin
Height: 5’6
Weight: 155 lbs.
Video Game: League of Legends
Powers: Yes
Lee Sin is quite short, but he’s still around average height if we compare him to our male anime characters at SHJ.
But once you include the superheroes and celebrities (and even the anime behemoths), he falls down to the shortest range among men.
Wolverineย was the shortest spot among comic characters weโve seen at 5โ3, prior to theย Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesย coming in at 5โ2, (andย Gimliย even shorter) โ butย Damian Wayneย (Robin) is only 5โ4.ย ย Gokuย isnโt that tall either, though, standing only 5โ7, withย Miles Moralesย only an inch above him.
One Punch Manย falls in at 5โ9 right there withย Ryu,ย Nightwingย at 5โ10, and thenย Spider-Man,ย Daredevil, andย Green Arrowย coming in around 5โ11 andย Beastย joining them.
Weโve hadย Supermanย and Eddie Brockโsย Venomย at 6โ3, andย Captain America,ย Scorpionย andย Batmanย at 6โ2, and Carnage at 6โ1.ย Thorย andย Cyborgย are towering over them at 6โ6,ย Thanosย andย Kingย right there with them at 6โ7,ย Baneย at 6โ8, andย Deathstrokeย right below at 6โ5, andย Black Mantaย at 6โ4.
Ronanย andย Sagatย are 7โ5, andย Doomsdayย came in at 8โ10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, donโt worry if youโre not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Lee Sin Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero, unless I mentioned differently (for example someone like Hulk may get something specifically different)**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I donโt think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You canโt out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking outย The Nutrition Pillarsย on the site, but Iโll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys likeย Dwayne Johnsonย andย Kevin Hartย incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals,ย Hugh Jackman,ย Tom Hopper,ย Benedict Cumberbatchย andย Terry Crewsย utilizeย intermittent fastingย (something I use daily as well),ย Ariana Grande,ย Mustafa Shakirย andย Madelaine Petschย areย vegans,ย Brandon Routhย andย Frank Grilloย opt forย paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
Itโs all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is whatโs important.
Which is why ourย Academyย utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans?ย Check this out.

Lee Sin Workout Routine Research
Weโve made it to โthe fun partโ.
And, if you donโt know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Lee Sin, our Blind Monk, I’ll be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page, which gives us this as his bio:
A master of Ioniaโs ancient martial arts, Lee Sin is a principled fighter who channels the essence of the dragon spirit to face any challenge. Though he lost his sight many years ago, the warrior-monk has devoted his life to protecting his homeland against any who would dare upset its sacred balance. Enemies who underestimate his meditative demeanor will endure his fabled burning fists and blazing roundhouse kicks.
As a young teen, Lee Sin was intent on becoming a summoner. His will and dedication were unmatched by any of his peers, and his skill drew the attention of Reginald Ashram, the League’s High Councilor at the time. While studying at the Arcanum Majoris, Lee Sin became frustrated with instruction paced for the other students. He spent his free time researching the nuances of summoning in hopes of graduating sooner. He made amazing advances in his arcane studies, surpassing all other students. By all indications, he would have become one of the League’s greatest summoners were it not for one terrible mistake. Too impatient, he attempted to test his ability by summoning a beast from the Plague Jungles. What he summoned instead was a young boy, but not in one piece. He barely had time to look the boy in what was once his face before the jumbled human mass fell lifeless to the floor. A League investigation later revealed that the boy’s entire village was obliterated by feedback from the ritual.Lee Sin’s talents were so promising that the League was willing to overlook the incident, but he could never forgive himself. He left the Institute and journeyed to the Shojin Monastery for eternal repentance, swearing never to practice magic again. Years later, hoping to atone for his crime with martyrdom, he set himself ablaze as a protest of the Noxian occupation of Ionia. He remained alive in this state, enduring searing agony for weeks. His actions paved the way for a League match wherein Ionia prevailed, but by the time he was doused, his eyes had been burned completely from their sockets. Hailed as a savior, he was reborn, and his will to act invigorated. He joined the League of Legends to continue his atonement with sweat and blood, a true monk’s only possessions.
I think it’s fun to include this lore and background information, even if it’s not what we’re used to seeing with our anime characters and superheroes, who we can breakdown with abilities and powers to specifically train around.
In this case we know one of the main points of this workout is to be cosplay-oriented, as is the point with most of our League of Legends Inspired Workouts.
That said, for this one I’m going to be programming it around an intense calisthenics workout.
We saw two calisthenics workouts added to our Calisthenics Workouts Database (you can also sort each individual theme by calisthenics as well) this week that were more beginner oriented, and this one is going to be on the opposite side of the spectrum.
BUT, I want our bodyweight members of The SHJ Army to be able to take on The Blind Monk’s workout.
And, just to reiterate and give some more details, these are the goals of our Lee Sin Inspired Workout:
- Lee Sin’s Shredded Aesthetic
- Lee Sin’s Fighter Strength and Agility
- Lee Sin’s Monk Body Control (Holds and Core)
So be ready for the intensity, but also be ready for core work and fat burning cardio placed on top of our bodyweight training.
