If you’re here for a beginner workout you’ve come to the wrong place.
Although, if you’re looking for an intense calisthenics workout that will get you shredded and strong as hell, you’ve come to the right place.
We have a full Record Of Ragnarok Inspired Workout Database and I was assuming Lu Bu was going to be coming in next, but we had a TON of requests come in for Qin Shi Huang that sent him over the edge – so here we are.
And, honestly, I’m not mad about it. Qin Shi Huang is a badass.
He’s going to be a great addition to our Unofficial Record of Ragnarok Workout Booklet and I’m sure Plus Ultra members are going to be happy he is being added this quickly.
Qin Shi Huang Stats:
Real Name: Ying Zheng
Height: N/A
Weight: N/A
Anime: Record of Ragnarok
Powers: Yes
Qin Shi Huang doesn’t have official stats listed, but he is described as a man of “average” stature.
We can assume he’s still fairly tall compared to the average height range of male anime characters, but not up there with out behemoths.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Qin Shi Huang Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Qin Shi Huang Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about our seventh rep I’ll be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page, which starts with this:
Qin Shi Huang is Humanity’s representative in the seventh round of Ragnarok, going up against Hades.
His real name is “Ying Zheng“, with Qin Shi Huang or “Shi Huang Di” being a title which literally means “First Emperor of Qin“. He’s the founder of the Qin Dynasty and the first emperor to unify China, widely regarded as the greatest emperor in all of Chinese history.
He has also been referred to as “The King Where It All Began” and the “King of Men” throughout his battle with Hades.
When we move into his abilities they have a LONG list of how powerful he is.
To start off we’ll be taking a look at his overall abilities:
Overall Abilities: Qin Shi Huang is probably the most powerful Emperor in mankind’s history as he was able to defeat the Demon God Chiyou, hurl Ares with just one hand without any effort, as well as fight on par with the King of the Netherworld, Hades. During his time on Earth, he managed to defeat and conquer all of the six kingdoms of the warring states and unify China in a very short period of time, being also the first individual to do so.
We clearly have our work cut out for us; and this isn’t even breaking down any of the ACTUAL abilities – this is just his power level.
Before we get into those, though, I want to start with some of his other abilities, including a bit of information about his fighting abilities, mental abilities and even supernatural abilities.
Here’s some information about his martial arts:
Martial Arts Expert: Qin Shi Huang is a very skilled martial artist. During his confrontation with Chiyou, he managed to create and master his own style of martial arts which he derived from five other fighting styles that he learned from his adoptive mother, Chun Yan. With it, Qin Shi Huang has access to a great variety of techniques that he can use in order to gain an advantage over his opponents.
The way we’ll take this into account is building in some extra core work and overall body control with holds.
Qin Shi Huang also has enhanced sight, golden age abilities and what is referred to as “Qi Sight” which is described as follows:
Qi Sight: Qin Shi Huang can see the flow of Qi within the bodies of living beings. Along these pathways are cruxes in the form of stars which Qin can strike to disrupt his opponent’s Qi, thereby weakening their techniques. Qin Shi Huang awakened this ability after surviving countless battles with his Mirror Touch Synesthesia.
But alright, I’ve made you wait long enough.
Now we have to discuss his physical abilities, which will break down what our actual goals are for our workout.
Here’s what they tell us about Qin Shi Huang:
Godly Strength: Qin Shi Huang possesses an unfathomable physical strength as he was able to destroy multiple corridor walls of the Valhalla Arena with ease as well as overwhelm even the likes of Hades, who boasted great physical strength himself. He is strong enough to hurl Ares with just one hand and even pierce Hades’ divine flesh.
Godly Speed & Reflexes: Qin Shi Huang can move at speeds matching the likes of Gods, as shown in his fight against Hades; not only could Qin keep up with his countless afterimages and blinding speeds, but eventually managed to outmaneuver him.
Godly Endurance & Stamina: Qin Shi Huang possesses a nearly limitless degree of physical and mental fortitude. Due to his unique form of Mirror Touch Synesthesia, he was forced to feel the physical and mental pain of others for almost his entire life and yet, despite that, he was able to keep on smiling without so much as a hint he was suffering, even when a chunk of his flesh was torn out. His incredible tenacity was further demonstrated by him being able to battle against Chiyou for six whole days without displaying any signs of exhaustion or fatigue.
Normally I might see Godly Strength and immediately want to use weight training, but let’s be honest for a second: almost every character in ROR is coming in with some level of god-like strength.
That said, I think Qin Shi Huang’s lore, build, speed and endurance play better to a calisthenics workout for you guys.
That means the goals of our Qin Shi Huang Inspired Workout are:
- Qin Shi Huang’s Shredded Aesthetic
- Qin Shi Huang’s Godly Strength, Speed and Endurance
- Qin Shi Huang’s Body Control and Core Strength
As I mentioned earlier: this is not going to be built around a beginner level.
BUT, I also know how many members in The SHJ Army LOVE Qin Shi Huang, so I will make it scalable and build it around an intermediate level instead of an advanced, which I was originally planning.
That said, you can also start with our Beginner Ninja Workout and work your way up to this one if you’d like.

How would that advanced workout have been? You’d simply add more reps per set?
Not necessarily. We have some that are more overall volume (sometimes that means more days, more reps, more sets, or a combination), some with more intensity via trisets or circuits, and other forms of scaling up.
