Next up joining our Chainsaw Man Inspired Workouts is Beam.
It was time for another male character and you guys specifically asked for Beam due to his shredded physique, and apparently super likeable qualities.
We won’t have a shark head by the end of this one but we are going to be training to be shredded.
Beam also has a perfect aesthetic to add another calisthenics workout to our database, so this one is going to be perfect for our bodyweight members inside The SHJ Army.
This will also even our the weight training and calisthenics training among our Chainsaw Man characters at five and five for you guys – which makes them perfect o be able to go through one by one depending on your preferred style!
Beam Stats:
Real Name: Beam
Height: N/A
Weight: N/A
Anime: Chainsaw Man
Powers: Yes
There is no listed height and weight for Beam, but one thing I’ll tell you is that he’s taller with the shark head.
Either way we can guess at his moderately tall height with lean physique and build around that.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Beam Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Beam Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Beam I’ll be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page, starting with a short bio section here:
Beam is a Shark Fiend and a Public Safety Devil Hunter from Tokyo Special Division 4.
That obviously doesn’t give us much to go on, but we’ll be able to keep going into his powers and abilities and figure out what we need to build this workout around more specifically.
They start off by telling us about how Beam can’t make contracts as a fiend, which drastically lowers his power level compared to other characters we’ve seen:
As a fiend, Beam can’t make contracts and his powers are considerably weaker than those of his devil form. However, he still has all the other standard devil abilities.
From there they go on to talk about his physical abilities and devil powers:
Physical Abilities:
Enhanced Durability: Beam is very durable for a fiend, able to survive point-blank explosions caused by Bomb Girl multiple times and still have enough mobility to escape afterwards.
Devil Powers:
Intangibility: Beam has the ability to swim through solid objects, allowing him to pass through walls and the floor with ease. He doesnt seem to able to bring others with him or bring large objects through.
Devil Transformation: Beam can transform his head into an enormous shark’s head with multiple eyes and great biting power. With his full transformation, Beam’s entire body transforms into his Shark Devil form.
This is definitely not much to go on, and we’re used to much more.
That said, the majority of our routine is going to come from building it around Beam’s aesthetic.
That means our goals for the Beam Inspired Workout are:
- Beam’s Shredded Aesthetic and Toned Physique
- Beams Six Pack Abs
- Beams Enhanced Durability (For this we’ll do endurance work)
This will all tie together pretty nicely and make it easy to build a fat burning, muscle shredding workout routine.
You shouldn’t have to scale this one down too much being that it will be built around a beginner – intermediate level, but if you do feel it’s a bit daunting you can also start with our Beginner Ninja Workout first.
