We have made it through nine workouts within our Assassination Classroom Inspired Workouts already and I wanted to make sure that for our tenth one we bring in another fan favorite female character.
I originally thought it was going to be hard to hit ten characters, but you guys kept the requests coming in, and now here we are.
For a while all we had was Koro-Sensei, and I was pretty sure it was going to stay that way.
Then all of a sudden there was Karma, Nagisa, Irina, and it just kept coming.
Now here we are for Ritsu, and to tell you guys ahead of time: we will be building this one out around a beginner level calisthenics workout.
Ritsu Stats:
Real Name: Ritsu
Height: 5’7
Weight: 1100 lbs.
Anime: Assassination Classroom
Powers: Yes
Ritsu is actually quite tall. She is above average among anime female characters we’ve seen by an inch or two and comes in at what used to be our above average range for all female characters and celebrities as well.
That said, we won’t be factoring in the fact that she is 1100 pounds…
Supergirl and Erza Scarlet were our shortest at 5’5 before Wasp came in at 5’4 and Kale, Anna and Nina Williams matching her there. BUT, now we have Caulifla at 4’8 and Sailor Moon at 4’11! Katana is just behind her at 5’2.
We had Wonder Woman come in standing 6’0 tall, Mockingbird and Hawkgirl at 5’9, Mystique, Miss Martian, and Sonya Blade at 5’10, and Storm 5’11.
But the average height for female celebrities on the site is generally more-so ranging from 5’4-5’6 – and our Black Widow is just above that at 5’7 with Spider-Gwen, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy at 5’8.
And, the tallest we’d seen before She-Hulk was Starfire at 6’4!
But don’t worry, either way.
Not only are these routines for all shapes and sizes – they also work for both men and women – regardless of the gender of the hero.

Ritsu Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.

Ritsu Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Ritsu, who is a super fun character, we’ll be pulling right from her Wiki Fandom page, starting with this:
Ritsu, also known as Autonomously Intelligent Fixed Artillery, is a student in Korosensei’s class 3-E of Kunugigaoka Junior High School, an AI and the first of the two official transfer students of Class 3-E.
To make more sense of what we’re working with here, I also want to break down Ritsu’s appearance section.
We will be building this one out around her aesthetic, ironically enough (her avatar at least), but it’s important to know exactly what we’re working with:
Ritsu’s main body, Autonomously Intelligent Fixed Artillery is a large rectangular robotic casing with a video screen. Inside the casing is an assortment of weaponry, as well as a 3D printer allowing her to perform various tasks. She is the youngest student of the class at the age of fourteen.
Originally, Ritsu was just a head with lilac hair and red eyes. However, after Korosensei modified her body and increased the size of her screen, her full appearance was shown and her eyes change to a red color, fading to light blue. Her outfit changes depending on the situation; swimwear when the class went swimming, a detective outfit when they were solving mysteries. She is most commonly shown in the winter school uniform.
The requests for Ritsu made it clear you guys specifically like Ritsu’s petite and slim aesthetic and we have a lot of members in The SHJ Army who would love to be able to accomplish a similar physique.
So we’re going to be shooting for just that.
But, before we jump right in, I do want to give credit where credit is due and also share Ritsu’s abilities:
Arsenal System: Ritsu’s main body was designed as a prototype basis for future combat drones and robotics, giving her heavy firepower and deadly weapons. Her main body contains four shotguns, two machine guns, and a infinitely large quantities of bullets that she can use to either barrage a cascade at Korosensei or provide assistance to trap him. The weapon system was made to target and terminate Korosensei.
Hacking Abilities: As a computer program and AI, Ritsu is the hacking expert in the class. She is able to hack into software after being given direct access from mobile phones to even the highest security systems in the world, as shown when she was able to hack and download copies of classified information and research on Korosensei. Ritsu was able to hijack the Japan Launch Station once Kimura infiltrated the control room and plugged in a device containing herself.
Calculation: She is able to calculate hard equations quickly, as evidenced by her calculations regarding Nagisa’s and Karma’s descent from the ISS. She is excels in mathematical predictions that can determine and predict the highest probability in assassination.
We’re not going to be training around hacking or calculation, but it does fill out Ritsu’s character a bit for us.
That said, the goals of our Ritsu Inspired Workout are as follows:

- Add on Some Assassin Flair
This workout is very cosplay oriented, but we will try to work in some assassin flair to make it more fun.
We are going to be able to build it around a beginner oriented workout, which I love to do whenever we have a character it will fit, so for any of you who are just starting out: you came to the right place.

As I mentioned above: we’re building this one out around beginner oriented calisthenics training to work to get an aesthetic like Ritsu. We’ll have 3 days of low intensity cardio and some toning calisthenics and then I gave you guys some optional core work to tack on as well if you’d like.
