We are tearing through Lookism Inspired Workouts and up next we have DG.
DG is one of the strongest Lookism characters in the entire manhwa/anime and although we had to cover some of the [currently] more popular characters from the series (having now aired on Netflix), it’s definitely time to bring him in to join our other anime characters.
We’ve been going back and forth from weight training to calisthenics training and since we just had the behemoth Samuel Seo join our Lookism characters with a massive weight training routine it’s time to bring in calisthenics for our bodyweight members; which is perfect for DG.
Although he is fairly tall (which we’ll discuss in just a second) his aesthetic and abilities will go perfectly with a calisthenics routine.
DG James Lee Stats:
Real Name: James Lee
Height: 6’2-6’3
Weight: N/A
Anime/Manga: Lookism
Powers: No
As I mentioned above: DG is actually fairly tall, especially compared to male anime characters we’ve seen at SHJ.
A few inches taller and we could have even considered him a behemoth among our Anime Workouts Database.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

DG James Lee Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

DG James Lee Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about DG I’ll be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page starting with his bio section that they give us here:
DG is a famous Korean star and also the head of PTJ Entertainment, an idol training agency. He has close ties with the Charles Choi. He used to be known as James Lee but discarded this identity after accomplishing his goal, and Daniel Park’s second body is using that name instead. He is known as the legend of the 1st generation.
Just to kill some of the confusion for people, I’ll also be sharing some information about DG’s appearance.
Here’s how his Wiki breaks it down for us:
DG is a very attractive young man who has dyed pink hair and dark colored eyes. He has pale skin and a slim body figure. He is usually seen wearing dark sunglasses and has a tattoo on his forearm.
Now, when acting as James Lee, he wears an all light pink outfit with a woolen sweatshirt and face mask.
Previously, DG as James Lee possessed red hair and a somewhat wild expression with a malicious grin punctuated by sharp teeth.
What we’ll really be working around is his slim body in conjunction with his physical abilities.
When they move into his fighting prowess it begins to become clearer for us:
As the legend of the first generation, DG is immensely powerful and is one of the strongest fighters in the PTJ verse, sometimes it says he is the strongest. He single handedly took down Darius Hong and his gang with ease, showing prodigal skill in combat. It is said that he ended the first generation, a notorious era of well known fighters. He bested Taesoo Ma, the “King Of Ansan” in a fight with little to no injuries. He favors using a style similar to Capoeira, and being incredibly quick and swift, to dodge others attacks.
In chapter 428, he fought the J High trio and says that he will spare Big Deal and Burn Knuckles if they manage to land a clean hit on him. Over the course of the fight, he overpowered the trio with little to no effort while keeping his left hand in his pocket.
This means we are dealing with one of the most powerful Lookism character (if not THE most powerful) while staying lean, slim and toned as well.
The goals for our DG Inspired Workout are:
- DG’s Slim and Toned Physique
- DG’s Fighter Speed and Strength
- DG’s Fighter Endurance and Intensity
Being that DG is one of the strongest characters this one will be fairly intense and built around an intermediate to advanced level.
If this one seems a bit too hard to get into and start with you can also start with our Beginner Ninja Workout (calisthenics) or even one of our other Beginner Workouts.

Please make a weight training version for DG James Lee
We have a full Lookism database. Not enough requests for DG James Lee to have weights. I would hop on one of the other weight routines.
