We’re bringing in another Solo Leveling character, and this time sticking to some calisthenics training to switch it up a bit.
So far we’ve seen some massively strong and muscular characters among our Solo Leveling Inspired Workouts so I want to make sure we keep the database fun for all of our SHJ Army members.
That said, Christopher Reed is still an extremely strong character, even making it into the top five on our list of the strongest Solo Leveling Hunters, so you better be ready to step it up a notch.
The only difference is he’s not as gigantic as some of the other characters, which will allow us to work around bodyweight movements for his lean and toned physique.
Christopher Reed Stats:
Real Name: Christopher Reed
Height: Approximately 6′
Weight: N/A
Anime/Manga: Solo Leveling
Powers: Yes
Christopher Reed is actually pretty tall, but he’s about a half a foot or so off from being considered a behemoth among our Anime Workouts Database.
That said, he is one of the characters that is slowly riding up the average height among male anime characters.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Christopher Reed Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Christopher Reed Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Christopher Reed and what we’ll use to build out this workout I’ll be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page starting with this:
Christopher Reed was the strongest hunter in America and one of the five National Level Hunters, ranking 3rd in the world.
This doesn’t give us a ton of information, but it does tell us a lot of what we need to know with just very little words.
Being the strongest hunter in America and one of the five National Level Hunters (with a ranking of number 3 in the world) clearly shows we’re dealing with an extremely powerful character, and have our work cut out for us if we want to get this routine right.
I also want to add a piece from his appearance section as well because although I mentioned a couple times that Reed is enabling us to work around a calisthenics system for this one I still want to acknowledge that he is muscular (to go with his overwhelming power level):
Chris was a muscular young man with wavy brown hair that was shaved on both sides of his head, blue eyes, and slight facial hair. While using his powers or agitated, his eyes glowed light blue.
One of the first things they mention is his muscle, and we’ll be training to build that lean and athletic physique we see him with.
Moving down into his abilities we learn a bit more, but it isn’t as much information as I would have liked to see coming from his Fandom page here:
As the vessel of a Ruler and a National Level Hunter, Chris was one of the strongest hunters in the world. Unfortunately, the full scale of his abilities were never displayed, as he was killed in action in an off-screen fight.
- Ruler’s Authority: Chris was able to control and move objects via telekinesis.
- Spiritual Body Manifestation: Chris was able to transform into a one-eyed giant with flaming light orange hair. The flames he could generate from this ability were so powerful that it took 14 S-Rank Hunters to extinguish it.
We know that being one of the strongest Hunters in the world also means he has immense levels of strength, speed, endurance and other abilities, so we’ll need to work that into our training system as well.
That means the goals for our Christopher Reed Inspired Workout are:
- Christopher Reed’s Lean and Toned Physique
- Christopher Reed’s Strength and Speed
- Christopher Reed’s Hunter Endurance
Christopher Reed is strong enough that we’d typically be building this one around an advanced level routine, but I’m actually going to be building it around an intermediate level that can easily be scaled up to advanced or down to beginner.
You can also start with our Beginner Ninja Workout or any of our other Beginner Workouts and then work your way up to this one, but as long as you scale down by cutting some of the volume and possibly intensity of this one, you should be able to jump right in.
