I mentioned in the last article that you guys have been going pretty hard for the characters being added into our Viral Hit Inspired Workouts Database and I wasn’t kidding.
We had a similar thing happen when we started bringing in some of the characters that now make up our Lookism Inspired Workouts, so I’m not surprised it’s happening again.
Taehoon song is actually going to be a fun one though being that we’ve been trying to switch it up a bit when it comes to our calisthenics workouts and Taehoon has a strong athletic physique, but one that is much more slim than we’re used to seeing for such a strong character.
We’ll be able to highlight the fighter qualities we sometimes miss out on while accounting for the mass.
Taehoon Seong Stats:
Real Name: Taehoon Seong
Height: 6’2
Weight: 176 lbs.
Anime: Viral Hit
Powers: No
Taehoon Seong is surprisingly only about four or so inches off being considered a behemoth among our male anime characters within the Anime Workouts Database.
That being said, I know he has bulked up a bit, but I was still surprised to see his 172 pound weight even at that height.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Taehoon Seong Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Taehoon Seong Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Taehoon Seong we’ll be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page, starting with a super super short bio section that reads like this:
Taehoon Seong is a main supporting character of How to Fight/Viral Hit.
When we move down into his appearance section they don’t make mention to his toned physique, but they do discuss how he is tall and considered to be extremely good looking and popular with the female characters.
From there we can skip down into his physical prowess, which are what we’re used to seeing as an abilities section, which they start by stating:
Taehoon is a Taekwondo practitioner, formerly only based on WT (World Taekwondo), but now also being a user of the original ITF (International Taekwondo Federation) style. Since young, he was considered a prodigy in the sport, having even made an appearance in a KBS show, where he easily beat a high schooler while still in primary school. His father notes that weight classes have never applied to Taehoon, because he was a “spin genius”. His method of beating an opponent taller, bigger and heavier than him was to use spinning moves, as each spin would increase the power of the kick. Despite spinning moves being considered risky, Taehoon is able to pull them off in a practical situation because of his impressive speed and coordination.
This gives us a small slice of how powerful he is, but there’s much more that we need to breakdown.
Here’s how they continue to share just how strong he is:
Taehoon usually keeps his hands low, preferring to dodge and move out of the way of incoming attacks. When unable to use his legs, Taehoon lowers his body and puts his guard up. His footwork is very light and fast, meaning that he can quickly move around in a fight. He can even move on slippery areas by sliding his feet slightly on the inside and lowering his center of gravity to maintain his balance. Taehoon has a preference for using kicks and often uses his fists as backup, either when he can’t use his legs or when the situation gets serious. He has incredibly strong shin bones, which were even able to break a baseball bat on it’s impact. Taehoon’s long legs help him kick his opponents from a distance, and he usually likes to overwhelm them with continuous kicks, until they’re down.
In a flashback, it is shown that his father has trained him in ITF, which is credited as the original Taekwondo, in contrast of WT Taekwondo, which was modified for sport. WT Taekwondo heavily emphasizes kicks, because they score more points in competition. Punches to the head are not permitted, and this naturally makes participants of the sport focus on kicks only. Whereas in ITF, punches to the head are allowed, and it emphasizes them equally to kicks.
When getting into a serious situation in a fight, Taehoon is seen using more of ITF, showing much more power and aggressiveness in his movements, but still maintaining the flashy techniques. Despite being exceptionally good at striking, Taehoon has no grappling experience as he refuses to use anything other than Taekwondo. His mindset when dealing with a grappler is to keep the distance and kick before they can grab him, which didn’t always work, as he ended up losing to chokes thrice.
As of right now in the story, he has surpassed his father in his youth, in terms of skill.
We’re clearly dealing with an extremely powerful character that is both fast and strong, while also being extremely nimble and agile.
That means the goals for our Taehoon Seong Inspired Workout are:
- Taehoon Seong’s Slim and Toned Aesthetic
- Taehoon Seong’s Fighter Nimbleness and Agility
- Taehoon Seong’s Strength and Speed
This one is going to be fun because we’ll have a good among of intensity mixed with a decent amount of pure strength calisthenics, but we’ll also need to focus on core strength and body control with some holds as well.
That said, this will be good for almost any skill level, but it will also be super easily to scale up or down in any direction depending on your fitness level.
But, if you feel like it’s a bit daunting you can always start with either our Beginner Ninja Workout or even the Beginner Speedster Workout or any of the other Beginner Workouts.
