The new Black Clover movie is blowing up on Netflix and it’s time to bring in another character into our Black Clover Workouts Database.
We actually had more requests for Ladros than we did for Vetto, surprisingly enough, but now with the movie release I’m pushing Vetto up a notch and making some space for him among our other characters.
I even sent out our weekly newsletter with bonus downloads for all our Asta and popular character workouts.
But if you’re not ready for a weight training workout you’ll want to jump into our calisthenics workouts and pick a different routine because we’re definitely shooting for mass on this one.

Vetto is almost considered a behemoth, just missing what we’d consider one among our Anime Workouts Database by a couple inches, but he is massive nevertheless.
That said, he is definitely a behemoth among the Black Clover characters.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.

Vetto Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.

Vetto Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Vetto I’ll be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page starting with what they tell us about his bio section here:
Vetto is an elf and one of the ten Apostles of Sephirah. He is reincarnated in a human as a member of the Eye of the Midnight Sun’s Third Eye. After his defeat in the Seabed Temple, he is reincarnated again in an artificial body.
We’re going to be working around his massive physique as opposed to the smaller physique we’ve [breifly] seen him with.
Here’s how they break down his appearance section for us:
Upon being reincarnated by Patolli in a human body, Vetto’s physical appearance is that of a very tall and muscular man with long blond hair and a blond beard with sharp teeth. A red tattoo crosses horizontally under his eyes and over the bridge of his nose. He has a rather beast-like appearance befitting his magic. His normal outfit consists of a short-sleeved vest, light colored pants, and a pair of sandals.
This is what we’re really working with.
When we move into his powers and abilities section they begin by telling us about his Magic, which is broken down into multiple sections for each type:
- Beast Magic: Vetto uses this magic attribute to generate a beast-shaped aura that boosts his physical prowess. This magic attribute appears to be quite unique, as Julius Novachrono has never heard of it.
- Seal Magic: Vetto uses this form of magic to seal others and their magic.
- Reinforcement Magic: Vetto uses this form of magic to increase his physical abilities.
We won’t really be working to build our routine around any of these things other than maybe his reinforcement magic which we’ll include within his physical abilities that are broken down here for us:
- Immense Speed: Vetto possesses tremendous speed, as shown when he outpaces Yami and keeps up with Luck Voltia when he is using his Lightning Magic to enhance his speed. Vetto is so fast that he is capable of dodging Mereoleona’s incredibly fast spell with ease and strikes her before she can defend herself. Mereoleona herself is amazed at Vetto’s tremendous speed.
- Immense Durability: Vetto possesses tremendous levels of durability, as he easily shrugs off being hit at close-range by Magna Swing and Luck Voltia’s magic combination attack. His overflowing mana is dense enough to form a barrier around him, protecting him from spells. Even when this barrier is removed by Anti Magic, he emerges completely unscathed by Asta’s attack.
- Immense Strength: Evidence of his large build, Vetto possesses immense physical strength, as shown when he easily picks up a large boulder and throws it at Asta. He is able to sever Kiato’s leg and crush Kahono’s throat with one strike each. In his teenage form, the power of his strikes was able to impress even Mereoleona.
- Immense Endurance: Vetto possesses tremendous levels of endurance, as shown when he survives having the whole upper right side of his torso blown off after taking the full force of Noelle Silva’s attack.
They also discuss his extremely powerful hand to hand combat skills and his overwhelming magical power, but we’ll be factoring those things in on top of these other abilities that are listed above (and more of a priority).
That means the goals for our Vetto Inspired Workout are:
- Vetto’s Massive Muscular Physique
- Vetto’s Immense Strength and Speed
- Vetto’s Immense Endurance
The main goal of is going to be the strength and mass, but the speed will come and we definitely need to still make this one built around being absolutely shredded as well.
In order to accomplish all of this we’ll need to be adding some intensity and high volume, but it will be fairly easy to scale down a bit as well.
That said, you can utilize The Beginner Behemoth Workout to get started and then work your way up to this one.

We have had a bunch of behemoths come in and get six day splits, but we usually see routines either powerlifting or similar to our Dwayne Johnson split – this time we’re bringing in a 6 day PPL split we originally built for Raiden of ROR and I’ll be slightly customizing to work with Vetto who we have extremely similar goals for.

For your endurance, HIIT or MMA/Parkour days you have quite a few options.
You can utilize enforced endurance training that I will program for you based on your fitness level like we do with other workouts here at SHJ…OR you can do 45-60+ minutes of varied cardio (bike, treadmill, elliptical, stairs, row, swim, etc.)…OR you can even use the HIIT resources I’ll provide.
I’ll break it down in that order:
Option One – Run Based on Overall Fitness Level:

Intermediate: 3-5 Miles
Advanced: 5+ Miles
