Black Clover has been extremely popular and our Black Clover Inspired Workouts Database continues to grow, so without Conrad Leto in there we’re not doing it the justice it deserves.
With the release of the new Sword of the Wizard King movie on Netflix, we got to see Conrad Leto on full display – which makes sense as to why we had so many requests for him to land on the site.
While I originally wanted to have Conrad Leto added into our calisthenics workouts, I actually am opting to have him come in with a weight training routine so we give our SHJ Army nice weighted workout that aims to get this type of lean and absolutely shredded aesthetic.
That said, if we get enough requests for it, I’m sure we could see Conrad Leto come in with another version of his training like we’d seen with many characters in the past.
Conrad Leto Stats:

Height: 6’5 (Fan Guesstimate)
Weight: N/A
Anime/Manga: Black Clover
Powers: Yes
Conrad Leto is actually extremely tall, joining even our behemoths inside the Anime Workouts Database, based on fan guesstimates.
That said, he does carry a decent amount of muscle mass, but stays extremely shredded and lean.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.

Conrad Leto Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.

Conrad Leto Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Conrad Leto we’ll be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page starting with his bio section here:
Conrad Leto is the 27th Wizard King of the Clover Kingdom’s Magic Knights and the former captain of the White Serpent squad. He is the main antagonist of in the 2023 Japanese anime movie, Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King. He is the 27th Wizard King that was imprisoned by his successor, Julius Novachrono, for his crimes against the Clover Kingdom. He would later escape from his imprisonment and revive the previous Wizard Kings before him. With the support of the other Wizard Kings, Conrad would resume his plot of creating an ideal world of peace.
From there we could go on to discuss his appearance section a bit considering it will be a big part about how we build this one out, but I think I did a decent job of choosing images for this article that portray what we’re going for here.
That said, we can move right onto his powers and abilities instead, starting with what they tell us about his abilities.
Here’s how they break it down for us:
Immense Magic Power: As the former Wizard King and formerly one of the strongest Magic Knights of the Clover Kingdom, Conrad possesses an immense amount of magic power. He could combine the various magic he stored with his magic into himself to obtain a new magical form for combat.
Master Swordsman: Conrad has been shown to be a very skilled swordsman, such as creating a sword out of magic and clashing evenly with Asta (who is also an expert swordsman), even parrying many of his attacks at one point.
Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Even without his magic, Conrad was a highly skilled martial opponent, able to easily disable Asta before he could respond in moments.
It’s good to also know that he’s a master swordsman and hand to hand combatant, because otherwise his appearance would have made up for the majority of what we built this one around.
And, to give him a full perspective for his character we can also discuss his specific magic: Key Magic.
They tell us about it a bit here:
Key Magic: Conrad uses this magic attribute to create keys that are able to open and close magical rifts. With it, Conrad is capable of storing magic, grimoires, and magic tools’ power within the space behind the rifts’ doors. It appears that his magic is closely compatible with the sword of the first wizard king.
This doesn’t tell us much about anything to do with how we’ll have to train – but it is necessary information for Leto’s background nevertheless.
But I think we’re ready to break down what we’re going for here.
The goals for our Conrad Leto Inspired Workout are going to be:
- Leto’s Super Lean and Shredded Physique
- Leto’s Swordsman and Fighter Mobility
- Leto’s Magical and Fighter Endurance
The intensity and endurance aspects of this routine are going to be perfect to help us get that shredded physique that Leto shows us while still using weights to gain the mass needed.
This one will be pretty easy to scale down or up, allowing all fitness levels to jump right in, though.

Conrad Leto Workout Routine
Training Volume:
3-5 days per week
Explanation:
For this one we knew we’d be using a 3 day full body split with weight training and hybrid attributes, but I’ll be making it fairly simple for all fitness levels to jump right in and get started. You can use your bonus Wizard King Circuit Test weekly, biweekly or monthly as you’d like, and tack on some extra endurance work to help you shred or just increase your stamina over time.

For your endurance, HIIT or MMA/Parkour days you have quite a few options.
You can utilize enforced endurance training that I will program for you based on your fitness level like we do with other workouts here at SHJ…OR you can do 45-60+ minutes of varied cardio (bike, treadmill, elliptical, stairs, row, swim, etc.)…OR you can even use the HIIT resources I’ll provide.
I’ll break it down in that order:
Option One – Run Based on Overall Fitness Level:
