We just had Gamin Yoon from Study Group come into our databases last week and I mentioned how Viral Hit, Lookism got massive here at Superhero Jacked (along with Solo Leveling and more), and you guys flooded the request form for John from UnOrdinary.
Which actually surprised me a bit.
But, I understand why he’s necessary to be added among the rest. He deserves his slot at some point.
That said, it’s quite clear you guys are going to continue wanting more webtoon and manwha characters coming in and joining the ranks – so it appears, along with video game inspired workouts – this will be becoming a much more regular occurrence.
John Doe Stats:
Real Name: John Doe
Height: 5’11
Weight: N/A
Webtoon: UnOrdinary
Powers: No
John is actually quite tall compared to other male anime and manga character inside our Anime Workouts Database.
That said, he is about half a foot off what we’d consider a behemoth among them.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

John UnOrdinary Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero, unless I mentioned differently (for example someone like Hulk may get something specifically different)**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

John UnOrdinary Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about John I’ll be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page, starting with his bio section here:
John is the main protagonist of the unORDINARY webcomic. He is a high school student attending Wellston High School as a third year and its second most powerful student. While at first trying to get over his traumatic past of going berserk and destroying his classmates, he tries to turn over a new leaf at Wellston. but after being betrayed by Arlo and defeating him, he slowly starts to fall into his old self and vows vengeance on the Wellston Royals by taking them down one-by-one and destroying the hierocracy by assuming identity of Joker (which some people try to imitate.) He becomes the tyrannical leader of the school until being beaten and saved by his best friend, Seraphina and later redeeming himself.
We’re clearly training around a powerful character, and this workout won’t be a beginner-oriented one.
I also want to include a bit about his appearance section considering we’ll be training to accomplish that as well:
John is an above average height, muscular, black-haired young man with gold eyes. Throughout the beginning of the story, he gels his hair down, but stops starts letting it be messy later on. Currently, he only uses some gel, giving him a fused look of the two.
Not much to build on, but it did the trick.
From there we need to move down into his powers and abilities.
They lead us off with this:
During his middle school years, John was believed to be a cripple with no ability at level of 1.2; however, John turned out to be a late-bloomer and his ability manifested during his final year of middle school, being a gift from his mother. While he initially started off as a low-tier, John’s ability level shot up significantly during his high school years and by the time of his expulsion, John was already a god-tier with a level of 7.0. His current level has been revealed to be 7.5, the fourth highest level revealed in the series, next to Headmaster Vaughn, Seraphina, and Jane. Even though he was disabled, he was able to manifest his ability against zeke and Liam which shows his resistance against the disabler. After receiving his ability at half power from the recovery machine, John retained his ability (albeit at half strength) after the time he was supposed to lose it.
They also go on to discuss his aura manipulation here:
John is capable of copying any abilities that aren’t too far above his level, shown when he copies Zirian’s ability when his level was higher than John’s, and combining abilities for devastating results. In addition to these skills, John is capable of detecting and sensing intensities of auras given off by abilities and amplifying any of the abilities he copies.
We won’t be putting too much weight on this part of his bio and background, but it’s at least important to make note of.
That said, they give even more about his physical abilities.
Here’s how they break it down for us:
Despite initially not using any abilities, John is shown to be capable of holding his own against mid-tiers such as Gavin, Krolik, and Hower with his fists and reflexes. He often practices hand-to-hand combat against a punching bag during workouts, and his proficiency in hand-to-hand combat far outclasses many of his peers. Furthermore, John appears to have a high pain tolerance and is capable of fighting back even when he is greatly wounded, as was seen when he withstood Remi and Arlo’s combined attack. These physical aspects, combined with his powerful ability, make John more than a match against most, if not all of his peers.
This is more to what we’ll be focusing on for our workout.
Which means the goals of our John UnOrdinary Inspired Workout are:
- John’s Muscular and Toned Aesthetic
- John’s Overwhelming Strength and Speed
- John’s Fighter Reflexes and Mobility
As I mentioned earlier, this one won’t be a beginner workout, and will be more intermediate and intense.
That said, if you DO want a Beginner Workout, I would recommend starting with The Beginner Ninja or even The Beginner Speedster if you want to eventually level up to this one.
