The next jacked character we’re bringing in from League of Legends (and have within our Riot Games Inspired Workouts) is none other than the Noxus leader: Darius!
It’s a dang crime that we haven’t had him on the site just yet…
But we’re fixing that today; with a lot of weights!
Which also means if you’re looking for a bodyweight workout you’ll want to head into the Calisthenics Workouts Database and choose from there.
Because for this one we’re getting BIG!

Real Name: Darius
Height: 6’5
Weight: 266 lbs.
Video Game: League of Legends
Powers: Yes
Darius is massive.
He even makes it in right around what we’d consider a behemoth among our Anime Workouts Database as well!
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.

Darius Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.

Darius Inspired Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Darius we’ll be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom and some other sources, starting with his bio section here:
There is no greater symbol of Noxian might than
, the nation’s most feared and battle-hardened leader. Rising from humble origins to become the Hand of Noxus, he cleaves through the empire’s enemies—many of them Noxians themselves. Knowing that he never doubts his cause is just, and never hesitates once his axe is raised, those who stand against the commander of the Trifarian Legion can expect no mercy.
Since a lot of our workout will also be built around his physique I’ll also be including what they tell us for his appearance section.
Although it might be obvious, it’s always good to have extra information:
Darius is a large, bulky man with a serious, intense face and middle-aged features. He has fair skin and swept-back black hair with a white streak. His eyes are variously portrayed as either red, green or gray. He also has a long, straight scar over his left eye.
It doesn’t give us THAT much information, but his Wiki even includes some information about his abilities.
Here’s how they break it down:
: Through his countless battles within the Noxian campaigns, Darius became very adept at using his battle axe in combat. He became so feared that he would make cities surrender by the mere sight of his banners as well as grant him the miltary title of Hand of Noxus.
Extreme Resilience: From a young age, Darius exhibited remarkable resilience to injury and pain. His body bears the visible scars of numerous battles, a testament to his enduring strength. Born an urchin in Basilich and the elder brother to
, Darius had to fight not only to survive but also to provide for his sibling. This innate toughness became even more apparent during his military campaigns.Charisma: Darius is very charismatic in the eyes of the Noxian troops. After a general ordered a retreat, Darius saw him as a coward and beheaded him out of defiance, rallying the fearful troops and securing a victory. He is also known to accept anyone who is willing and able to fight for their ideals, no matter the cost.
This helps a bit, but we really already know what we’re dealing with for this one.

This one will be around intermediate to advanced fitness level; but you should be able to scale down fairly easily by cutting some movements and/or dropping the weight.
