I love Mahito and I think it’s hard not to.
Not only is he one of the strongest characters we’ve been introduced to in Jujutsu Kaisen, but he’s also one of the most popular.
Although he didn’t make our list of The Most Popular Jujutsu Kaisen Characters, he still comes up often when pulling those rankings – especially among The SHJ Army.
One of my favorite moments was right in his initial introduction episodes when he goes head to head with another popular character: Kento Nanami.
But now it’s time to train like this human looking cursed spirit!
Mahito Stats:
Real Name: Mahito
Height: 5’10.5
Weight: NA
Anime: Jujutsu Kaisen
Powers: Yes
Mahito comes in at 5’10 1/2, which would be closer to average height among everyday males.
If we compared him to the celebrity average he’d actually be a bit below average, but taller than the male anime character average!
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.

Mahito Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero, unless I mentioned differently (for example someone like Hulk may get something specifically different)**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.

Mahito Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To get us started we’re going to need some more information. For this we’ll be pulling right from Mahito’s Wiki Fandom page.
This is what they give us for his initial biography section:
Mahito is one of the primary antagonists of the Jujutsu Kaisen series. He is a cursed spirit allied with Suguru Geto. His group’s ultimate goal is the eradication of humanity and ultimately replacing the population with cursed spirits.
They also tell us a little about his appearance, which is specifically important being that we’re dealing with a cursed spirit, but we’re able to use his overall aesthetic to build out this routine as well being that he appears as though he is human.
Here’s what they explain:
As described by jujutsu sorcerers, Mahito is a human-looking cursed spirit with a patchwork face and gray eyes. (In the anime, Mahito possesses heterochromia, as his left eye is dark blue and his right eye is gray.) He has long grayish-blue hair that reaches past his neck and is sectioned off into three large strands with ties at the ends. Along with his face, Mahito has stitches all across his body that give him the appearance that he was sewn together.
They also gives us a fairly big breakdown once we get into his powers and abilities section.
To get started we’ll pull right from the overall power level portion of it:
Overall Skill Level: Mahito is an unregistered Special Grade cursed spirit that eclipses the power of at least three of Sukuna’s fingers. He is younger than Jogo and as a result, is less experienced and not as powerful. Despite this, Mahito is far above what a Special Grade cursed spirit would normally be. He has very high intelligence and an extremely dangerous cursed technique.
In a one on one fight, he was able to overwhelm Grade 1 sorcerer, Kento Nanami, by rendering his cursed technique useless. Following that fight, Nanami believed that Mahito had to be exorcised immediately or else he would grow into something too fearsome for Jujutsu High to handle.
In Mahito’s two on one battle with Nanami and Yuji, Mahito would also have likely defeated both jujutsu sorcerers if it were not for Sukuna’s intervention. During this fight, Mahito was able to grow stronger while his life was in danger, allowing him to achieve the ability to conjure his own Domain Expansion.
Later, during the Shibuya Incident Arc, Mahito went further beyond his boundaries, being able to create whole clones of himself that were indistinguishable from the original, while also developing his Soul manipulating abilities. During his fight with Yuji and later, Todo, he managed to land multiple black flashes on the two, allowing him to gain sufficient understanding of cursed energy and his own soul to activate Instant Spirit Body Of Distorted Killing, further increasing his power.
On top of this section they also list the fact that Mahito is extremely smart and has enhanced endurance and durability.
We’ll be training to not only build a Mahito-style-aesthetic, but also to be strong and durable like him as well.

We’re going to be training with calisthenics, HIIT and even a little optional MMA and Parkour. We’ll utilize endurance work, with our calisthenics as well as focus in on creating the lean and toned physique Mahito has with core work built into almost every day.
