Adam will be the first Record Of Ragnarok character we hit here at SHJ, although we have a handful of requests to get to after him.
We’re talking characters like Zeus, Shiva, Thor, Poseidon and more!
Adam was actually the most requested among the list, and that’s why I’m bringing him in first – so I’m excited to see the feedback on this one to see how quickly we can get the rest of the characters into our Anime Workouts Database as well.
Record Of Ragnarok, for those of you who don’t know, is a Netflix Original based on the manga series.
The feedback was mixed on the first season, but fans (including myself) are hopeful that the series will be picked up for more seasons.
Adam Stats:
Real Name: Adam
Height: N/A
Weight: N/A
Anime: Record of Ragnarok
Powers: Yes
There’s no official height and weight listed for Adam – but his overall aesthetic is very clear.
He’s tall and extremely slender and lean – which is something we’ll be factoring into our training.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Adam Record of Ragnarok Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Adam Record of Ragnarok Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
For this one we’re jumping right into Adam’s Wiki Fandom page to learn a bit more about his character and see what we’re working with to build this one out.
Here’s what they tell us for his initial bio section:
Adam is the progenitor of Humanity. He is the first human to ever exist, being created in the image and likeness of the gods. He is described as “The Man most Detested by the Gods” and “The Ultimate Survivalist”. After being expelled from paradise along with Eve, the two descended into the human world and gave rise to humanity.
While Adam has a ton of powers and abilities we’ll have to list that will take up a huge chunk of this article, I do still want to share his appearance section that will also be a big thing we’re factoring into the training:
Adam takes the form of a tall, young and muscular man with supreme beauty that even aroused the gods. Adam has platinum-blonde hair, and big sky blue eloquent eyes. When he lived in the Garden of Eden with Eve, he was fully naked, but when he was exiled to Earth, he covered his groin with a single classical fig leaf covering. He is often seen holding or eating an apple, and in his battle against Zeus, he wears a divine knuckle duster in his right hand.
We’re definitely going for a slim aesthetic, but it’s one that is also muscular, lean and toned.
For that we don’t necessarily need to be tacking on heavy weight training and a bulky increase in calories – we will actually be utilizing calisthenics training, endurance work for shredding down and different variations of HIIT training.
But, before we get too far ahead of ourselves, let’s break down some of the powers and abilities that Adam shows off in Record of Ragnarok.
They start us off with his overall abilities:
Overall Abilities: As the first and original man created in the image and likeness of a god, Adam was considered by Brunhilde to be her “trump card” against the gods. Adam might perhaps be the most powerful human in history, being able to go toe to toe with and nearly defeating the chairman of the Gods’ Council and champion of the Titanomachy, Zeus. Upon witnessing Adam’s power, Ares shamefully admitted that he’d be no match for him, even if he were to train for a thousand years; Zeus himself also stated that if their battle was instead a contest of endurance and not a deathmatch, Adam would’ve undoubtedly bested him.
While that doesn’t tell us much about the specific abilities we’ll be looking to build off of, it does tell us just how strong of a character we are working with.
And we have our work cut out for us here.
As for his specific powers, I’ll give the full breakdown of the abilities that are important, but cut it to a regular list for the abilities we won’t be able to really train around:
- Godly Strength: Adam possesses immeasurable and unfathomable physical strength, capable of harming the likes of Zeus with his punches. With assistance from the “Eyes of the Lord”, Adam was able to break Zeus’ neck with a single sucker punch.
- Godly Durability: Adam, despite still being just a human, possesses durability on par with (and perhaps even surpassing) that of a god. Even after losing his eyesight and greatest weapon, Adam was capable of withstanding a barrage of attacks from Zeus and even trade blows with him. He also managed to survive multiple of Zeus’ True Gods Right/Left, which were described as being an unavoidable one-hit kill.
- Godly Speed & Reflexes: Adam was capable of dodging all of Zeus’s attacks, which were being launched within a very small time-frame of 0.00000001 seconds. He was then later able to dodge and counter Zeus’s Fist That Surpassed Time attack, a punch so fast and powerful that time itself comes to a halt. The attack is at least faster than 0.000000000000000000001 seconds, and none of the other Gods were able to see due to occurring in an instant.
- Golden Age
- Indomitable Will
- Eyes of the Lord
- Unarmed Combat ProficiencyAnimal Intuition
Strength, speed, and durability.
All things we’ve seen before and will have to really step up to a new level for this one.
We’re going to be actually pulling a ton of tactics from our Assassin Calisthenics 90 Day System for this one, that has even been used to train new U.S. Marines and then we’ll be putting an extra layer of HIIT and endurance work on top of that to really shred down and tone up like we see in Adam’s aesthetic in ROR.
Think you can handle it?
