We have a massive Naruto Inspired Workouts Database, and it continues to grow as you guys request more and more characters.
We have also been tacking on more Boruto specific routines in our Naruto Database, but here’s a fun character that has been requested enough to bump him up the priority list.
Boruto is so popular we even had our Boruto Filler List and Watch Guide land in our fandom articles recently.
But we also already have our list of the Top 15 Most Powerful Young Boruto Characters and Kawaki came in at number one!
While we likely won’t be getting a Boruto specific quiz anytime soon, I will be adding Kawaki to our Naruto Workout Placement Quiz into a younger Boruto section of it to have some fun with our SHJ members looking to train like our Isshiki Ĺtsutsuk Vessel!
Kawaki Stats:
Real Name: Kawaki
Height: 5’1 (Boruto) 6’0 (Flashfoward)
Weight: N/A
Anime:Â Boruto
Powers: Yes
In the Flashfoward Kawaki is actually quite tall compared to other anime characters we’ve seen at SHJ.
Although even at six feet tall he is no where near the behemoths we have within our Anime Workouts Database.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters weâve seen at 5â3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5â2, (and Gimli even shorter) â but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5â4.  Goku isnât that tall either, though, standing only 5â7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5â9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5â10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5â11 and Beast joining them.
Weâve had Superman and Eddie Brockâs Venom at 6â3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6â2, and Carnage at 6â1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6â6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6â7, Bane at 6â8, and Deathstroke right below at 6â5, and Black Manta at 6â4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7â5, and Doomsday came in at 8â10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, donât worry if youâre not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Kawaki Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I donât think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You canât out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but Iâll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
Itâs all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is whatâs important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Kawaki Workout Routine Research
Weâve made it to âthe fun partâ.
And, if you donât know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Kawaki we’re going to be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page, which leads us off with this:
Kawaki is a child raised by Kara to be the future vessel for Isshiki Ĺtsutsuki and the key to the fulfilment of their greatest wish. After being brought to Konohagakure by Team 7, he is taken in by Naruto Uzumaki who raises him as his own, during which he develops a brotherly bond with Boruto Uzumaki to solve the mystery of the KÄma. Later, after passing a necessary test, Kawaki was accepted as a Konoha genin.
When we move down into his powers and abilities section we can begin to see how powerful he is.
They lead off with information regarding his overall powers and abilities:
Even without chakra and before becoming a ninja, Kawaki is still a remarkably powerful fighter, having been brutally trained in armed and unarmed combat by Jigen to master his various enhancement. With the power he wields, he able to easily destroy dozens of dangerous robotic puppets and would have killed Team Konohamaru with a single attack had Boruto not absorbed it with his own KÄma. Inners of Kara have openly praised Kawaki’s might. Kawaki was hypothesised to be an incredible shinobi if he could learn to use ninjutsu along with his previous abilities.
Kawaki also has body modifications and his Kama mark of Isshiki Ĺtsutsuk, but for now we’ll focus on his physical prowess.
Here’s how they explain that for us:
Kawaki specialises in close-range hand-to-handcombat. His style is shown to be very nimble and coordinated, flipping about to evade enemy attacks and using the environment to launch himself at the opponent. Upon which, he is able to seamlessly unleash a barrage of strikes from each of his limbs. He is also very resilient. While already being tired beforehand, he was able to endure GarĹ’s savage assault and continue fighting effectively despite his battered state. Kawaki is later shown to be proficient in using a bĹ, able to match Boruto’s swordsmanship.
We can also go onto his body modifications, although they do add a ton of depth to the research that we won’t necessarily be able to duplicate and work on with our routine.
Here’s how they go into it to lead us off and give us an idea of what we’re working with:
Kawaki’s body has undergone significant modification with Shinobi-Ware by Amado. It is a microscopic technology implanted throughout his entire body that constantly alters his physiology throughout his circulatory and nervous systems. These alterations are at the cellular level, transforming him into a living scientific ninja tool and granting him unique superhuman abilities similar to a kekkei genkai. Katasuke TĹno deems the modifications a work of art, as advanced as the prosthetic arm designed for Naruto Uzumaki, if not more so. He also noted that unlike Mitsuki, who is a genetically engineered synthetic human using organic technology, Kawaki is a natural human transformed into something else using inorganic technology.
They also go on to talk about his accelerated healing rate and prosthetic replacement arm as well.
For the most part, though, we’ll be taking the information that they say here: “granting him unique superhuman abilities similar to a kekkei genkai”.
And to wrap up the research portion of this one we’ll finish off with a bit about his Ninjutsu:
Since living in Konohagakure and taking an interest in ninjutsu, he began learning it from the Seventh Hokage. This included chakra manipulation and shurikenjutsu, to which he showed a noticeable talent for, mastering the basics in a short period of time. He is also able to perform more advanced techniques with a single hand, including Fire Release and the Shadow Clone Technique. He also demonstrated great ingenuity, using the limited skill he has acquired for clever deceptions. Kawaki instinctively learned the Ĺtsutsuki ability to hide his chakra signature.
For this one we need to revolve our training around the fact that Kawaki is extremely powerful, the most powerful among the young Boruto characters, and also his superhuman abilities from his “upgrades” and overall ninja training.
Being that he is this powerful, and has body modifications, we’re going to be using weight training to replicate his power level – but we’ll likely see a lot more Boruto characters come in that we can build around calisthenics workouts – so don’t worry if you’re one of our bodyweight training SHJ members.
On top of our weight training I’ll also be adding in our circuit test and endurance training like we’re used to see for our ninjas and powerful characters, so be ready for high volume and a super diversified training style.

Kawaki Workout Routine
Training Volume:
3-5 days per week
Explanation:
As I explained above, we’re going to be training with 3 days of weight training, which I’ll keep to high intensity full body training (high intensity in the sense that we’ll be using supersets, not high intensity circuits), and then one day devoted to ninja endurance work, and a final day that will be a circuit test for you to utilize weekly, biweekly or every month or so to retest your abilities and see how you’ve progressing over time.
The Superhero Academy now comes with an Upgrade Your Workout Tool that allows Academy members to turn any SHJ workout into a 4-8 week fully planned regime detailing exact weights to lift and including reverse & traditional pyramid training, straight sets, super sets, progressive overload and more.
