After I brought in a couple more Bleach characters to our Bleach Inspired Workouts Database you guys bombarded me with requests for Starrk.
We’ve had well over a dozen workouts, but compared to our other Big Three anime and other insanely popular new anime, we are technically lacking on characters.
Starrk gives us an opportunity to also add on another character to join our calisthenics workouts considering he struts a lean and toned physique and we don’t necessarily need to build this one off of loads of strength and mass.
Coyote Starrk Stats:
Real Name: Coyote Starrk
Height: 6’1 1/2
Weight: 169 lbs.
Anime/Manga: Bleach
Powers: Yes
Coyote Starrk is actually pretty tall compared to other male anime characters, slowly increasing the height of what we’d consider “average” here at SHJ.
That said, he is about a half a foot off of what we’d consider our behemoths within our Anime Workouts Database.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Coyote Starrk Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Coyote Starrk Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Starrk I’ll be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page starting with the brief bio they give us here:
Coyote Starrk is an Arrancar and the Primera (1st) Espada in Sōsuke Aizen’s army, along with his other counterpart, Lilynette Gingerbuck.
This doesn’t give us much to go on, but it does get us started in the right direction, and we’ll learn plenty when we begin moving into his powers and abilities.
The first skills they tell us about when we move into his abilities are his marksmanship and swordsmanship:
Master Swordsman: Starrk has demonstrated tremendous skill in swordsmanship, fighting on even ground with Shunsui Kyōraku, one of the most proficient swordsmen in all of Soul Society, and landing a few minor cuts without fully trying (though Shunsui was also holding back). In their final fight, Starrk also demonstrated great skill in dual-wielding swordsmanship, using Colmillo to fight against Shunsui with his Shikai.
Master Marksman: Starrk is quite skilled with pistols. He can fire very precise Ceros while fighting more than one opponent, and can launch a continuous barrage of Ceros which even captain-class fighters have difficulty avoiding. He skillfully used them to block at close range against Love Aikawa.
We won’t be factoring in his marksmanship, but we’ve definitely seen our fair share of anime swordsman at SHJ.
From there they go on to talk about his immense spiritual power, descorrer abilities, cero abilities, and much more – but none enough to change how we will be building out our workout.
What we’ll really be focusing on, other than his overall aesthetic, is his mastership of Sonido:
Sonído Master: Starrk’s skill and speed in Sonído is so great, it seems as though he possesses a form of teleportation, simply appearing solidly instead of shimmering for a second like other Sonído users. He avoided both Kenpachi Zaraki and Ichigo Kurosaki in order to recapture Orihime Inoue. His proficiency with Sonído allows him to create multiple after-images of himself to confuse the enemy. He surprised Jūshirō Ukitake by appearing next to him after dodging an attack faster than his own post-release Cero. He also evaded various attacks by the Visored Love and Rōjūrō Ōtoribashi, along with attacks from Shunsui while fighting them.
When we factor this in with his master swordsmanship we can decide on some clear goals for our training.
The goals for our Coyote Starrk Inspired Workout are:
- Starrk’s Immense Speed
- Starrk’s Lean and Toned Aesthetic
- Starrk’s Master Swordsmanship/Body Control
For this we’ll be using calisthenics for body control, strong core, lean aesthetics and even speed.
Starrk is an extremely powerful character but you guys should be able to jump into this one even at an intermediate fitness level.
If it seems a bit too daunting and you’re not comfortable doing some of your own scaling you can even start with our Beginner Ninja Workout or one of our other Beginner Workouts and then slowly work your way up to this one.
