We love getting shredded characters here at SHJ and Sinbad is definitely on that list.
We get to see a a ton of lean characters and a ton of behemoths within our Anime Workouts Database, so it’s also fun to be able to see some of the bigger characters come in lean and muscular with a nice mix like Sinbad has as well.
This isn’t our first Magi character hitting the site, though – we’ve also seen a calisthenics workout come in with our Morgiana Inspired Workout.
That means if we get a couple more on the site [from Magi] we’ll even be able to get our own database for them with the rest of our anime.
Sinbad Stats:
Real Name: Sinbad
Height: 6′
Weight: 183 lbs.
Anime: Magi
Powers: Yes
Sinbad is actually fairly tall, as I mentioned above.
He isn’t quite a behemoth, coming in about half a foot below what we’d consider one, but he still definitely raises the average male height a bit.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Sinbad Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Sinbad Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Sinbad we’ll be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page, which starts us off with a decent bio section here:
Sinbad is the former King of Sindria, the World Innovator, the Head of the International Alliance, as well as the president of the world’s most powerful trading company, the Sindria Trading Company. He is a Dungeon Capturer and a King Vessel. He was also the leader of the Seven Seas Alliance. Sinbad has halfway “fallen into depravity”, as noted by Ithnan. Though it was originally thought that Sinbad was the reincarnation David Jehoahaz Abraham, Sinbad has stated that he is not . However, David did resonate with the black Rukh inside of Sinbad after the summit ended. Sinbad is often accompanied by members of the Eight Generals, who are his most trusted companions. He is a major character in Magi and main character of Adventure of Sinbad.
From there they discuss Sinbad’s appearance section a bit by talking about his muscular physique, but we can go ahead and jump right down towards his abilities section.
Here’s how they start us off for his abilities:
Sinbad is one of the most powerful characters in the series. He is extremely skilled in swordplay, as well as Magoi Manipulation and decent martial arts skills. He is most notable halfway fallen into depravity, enabling him to use black Magoi as well as white Magoi. Sinbad has the most Djinn in his possession than anyone in the series, about 7 Djinn in total.
After taking control of the Sacred Palace from Ugo, Sinbad gains the ability to rewrite the Rukh and change his hierarchical power to other Gods.
From that point on they have an EXTREMELY long list of Sinbad’s individual abilities, but none of them will really play much of a role in how we build out our workout routine.
They do go on to give us an physical ability point scale chart as well which we can use a bit to break down how we’ll be training.
They give Sinbad’s fighting ability, leadership and technique a 5/5 and his physical strength a 4/5, but we know just how strong he is.
That means the goals for our Sinbad Inspired Workout will be:
- Sinbad’s Lean and Shredded Muscular Physique
- Sinbad’s Incredible Power and Strength
- Sinbad’s Well Rounded Abilities (Speed, Control, etc.)
For this one we’re going to be able to train using one of my favorite training splits: the full body training split.
This one will be super easy to scale for people around the beginner to intermediate level, but it will also be perfect for intermediate to advanced lifters to jump right in looking to get that shredded muscular physique we get to see Sinbad strut.
That said, if you’d like, you can also use one of our Beginner Workouts to get started prior to leveling up to this one.
