We’ve had our fair share of heroes and villains join our Hunter X Hunter Workouts Database, but now it’s time to add in the fastest of the Chimera Ant squadron leaders: Cheetu!
We have actually had a ton of Phantom Troupe members, a handful of other Chimera Ants, and loads of our favorite heroes and characters that have made it into both weight training category and our calisthenics workouts, but considering Cheetu’s speed and even enhanced strength I decided we’re going to be using weight training for this one.
There could be a good excuse to make it a calisthenics workout if we were just looking to get lean and toned like Cheetu, but the weights will help with our speed and strength while also allowing us to build it around a specific style that aims for the lean and slender aesthetic we’ll need for this.
Cheetu Stats:
Real Name: Cheetu
Height: N/A (Tall)
Weight: N/A
Anime: Hunter X Hunter
Powers: Yes
Cheetu is regarded as being tall, as are most of the Chimera Ants, but I’m not quite sure if he’d be considered a behemoth among our male characters within the Anime Workouts Database – which is generally around 6’6 or higher.
That said, his slim slender and toned physique is what we’ll mainly be revolving around for this one.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Cheetu Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Cheetu Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Cheetu I’ll be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page, which starts us off with a super short bio section (which we’re used to seeing for our Hunter X Hunter characters):
Cheetu was a cheetah-based Chimera Ant and the fastest Squadron Leader.
Though this doesn’t tell us much, it’s some basic information we’ll need and touch on as we move further into his powers and abilities.
They do have an appearance section for him, but it’s nothing we don’t know already, essentially just touching on his slim and toned aesthetic.
When we start moving into his powers and abilities they lead with a section about his overall abilities here:
As a Chimera Ant, Cheetu is stronger than any normal human. His status as a Squadron Leader proves he is even more powerful than that. During his time as a Squadron Leader, he had authority over his underlings, although it is unclear how much influence he retained after the death of the Queen. He fights and hunts by using his speed. Whether he catches his prey unawares or not is irrelevant: even pro Hunters have a hard time adapting to his quickness. He would be infinitely more dangerous if not for his many weak spots, all of which came down to his foolishness: Cheetu is so proud of his speed he feels no need to make plans or focus on his opponents; moreover, he has near to no analytical skills and does not pay any attention to his surroundings. He also seems unable to gauge the power of his foe.
We already know we’re working around a very powerful character, and if we factor in [us] not being as dimwitted as Cheetu it actually makes this one even better.
From there they actually go into individual abilities that make it much more clear as to what we’ll be working with.
Here’s how they break it down:
Enhanced Strength: Cheetu can chop off fingers and bite through a human skull while running so fast that normal humans cannot perceive him. When he stopped holding back, multiple punches from him were able to draw blood from Knuckle and Morel.
Unfathomable Speed and Reflexes: Cheetu’s primary trait is his great speed, which allows him to dodge bullets with ease after they touch the lock of hair on his forehead, and punch two experienced Hunters several times without their bodies being able to react to his top speed, although they managed to follow him with their eyes about one minute into the fight. He can reach a speed of 200 km/h or even higher in an instant, and one between 150 and 180 km/h appears to be a casual travel speed for him. His reactions are so quick that Knuckle and Morel’s movements seemed to him to slow down to a near standstill, enabling him to calmly comment on their speed while avoiding their attacks and retaliating; however, shock and strong emotions have proven to impair his ability to dodge.
Enhanced Stamina: Cheetu can run at immense speeds for long periods of time without growing tired, although it seems that maintaining what is a fast pace by his own standard wears him out rather quickly.
Hand-to-Hand Combatant: He has displayed decent hand-to-hand combat skills, which, coupled with his speed, allowed him to take on Knuckle and Morel simultaneously. Except when he feeds, his fighting style seems to be based exclusively on quick jabs which he throws in quick succession, aiming at the head when he is serious and also at the trunk when he plays around.
This really shows the precise abilities we’re going to be looking to accomplish for our Cheetu workout.
The goals for our Cheetu Inspired Workout will be:
- Cheetu’s Slim Slender Toned Aesthetic
- Cheetu’s Enhanced Speed and Stamina
- Cheetu’s Enhanced Strength
I’m assuming you could have probably guessed those, but it’s good to have a full breakdown like we do for all of our characters.
The speed and stamina will obviously take the priority for this one, and the strength and slim toned aesthetic will come with how we’re going to be building out the routine.
If this one looks like it might be a bit difficult to get started with you can also start with one of our Beginner Workouts, but I think most members will be able to jump right into this one, even if that takes a slight amount of scaling down or using lighter weight at the beginning of your training journey.
Check out all The SHJ Programs and start unleashing your inner SuperHuman.
