We’re wrapping up our week with yet another Demon Slayer Inspired Workout Routine and this one from another member of The Demon Slayer Corps.
This week we have seen Kyojuro Rengoku and Kanao Tsuyuri and it has landed us with enough Demon Slayer characters to warrant it’s very own mini-workout database within our larger Anime Workouts Database.
This definitely won’t be the end of the Demon Slayer inspired workouts coming onto SHJ considering the flood of requests I still have in my inbox, but it does also open the door to being able to get some fun listicles so we can compare the most popular and powerful like we’ve done in the past for other anime.
We didn’t have any of our Demon Slayers land on The Most Powerful Anime Characters of All Time list, but who knows, maybe one day they’ll size up.
Muichiro Tokito Stats:
Real Name: Muichiro Tokito
Height: 5’3
Weight: 123 lbs.
Anime: Demon Slayer
Powers: Yes
Muichiro Tokito comes in as one of the shorter characters we’ve seen at SHJ, even compared to male anime characters who tend to be on the shorter side.
He’d even be THE shortest if compared to male celebrities we’ve seen here as well.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Muichiro Tokito Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Muichiro Tokito Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
As always, we’re going to get started by pulling right from Muichiro Tokito’s Wiki Fandom page.
Here’s how they start us off with Tokito’s background information:
Muichiro Tokito is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a Demon Slayer of the Demon Slayer Corps and the current Mist Hashira.
Muichiro along with his brother Yuichiro Tokito, are the descendants of Upper Rank One, Kokushibo.
When we move into his powers and abilities it begins to become clear just how impressive Muichiro is.
They give us some information about his overall abilities here:
Overall Abilities: As a Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, Muichiro is a very powerful swordsman. He is noted to be incredibly talented despite his young age, accomplishing his Hashira status after a mere two months of training. After awakening his Demon Slayer Mark, Muichiro is able to defeat Gyokko, Upper Rank 5, with relative ease even after the Upper Rank assumed his true form. His techniques were also praised by Kokushibo, Upper Rank 1, for being well developed for one so young. Despite this, Muichiro is still severely outmatched in his encounter with him, having his arm cut off after Kokushibo drew his blade for the first time. However, later on in the fight, his contributions proved to be crucial in Upper Rank One’s defeat: After unlocking the Transparent World and the ability to dye his Nichirin Blade a crimson red color as well as the willingness to sacrifice his own life, Muichiro is able to land a critical blow on Upper Rank 1.
Clearly he is extremely powerful, but he also isn’t one of the MOST powerful characters within the whole anime.
Some other abilities they list before telling us about some of the physical enhancements that come with his powers are:
- Omnipresent Rage
- Indomitable Will
- Demon Slayer Mark
When we move into his powers and abilities that we’ll be using to build this one out it is very similar to what we’ve seen among our other Demon Slayers:
Enhanced Strength: Despite his build appearing to be the smallest and seemingly weakest of the Demon Slayers and Hashira, Muichiro has been shown to be stronger than Tanjiro Kamado by a wide margin. He is able to knock him out with a blow to the neck and did not budge when Tanjiro held and gripped his arm with all of his strength, despite Tanjiro being strong enough to break Genya Shinazugawa’s arm even before he began training as a Demon Slayer.
Immense Speed and Reflexes: In his fight against Gyokko, he has displayed multiple times that he could react and dodge to the Upper Rank’s blinding bursts of speed. Despite being unable to keep up with the speeds of Upper Rank 1, Kokushibo, Muichiro could dodge a barrage of his crescent moon blades.
Immense Stamina and Endurance: Muichiro possesses incredible stamina and endurance, possibly the most polished. When his arm got cut off, he unhesitantly stopped the bleeding and immediately continued his attack against Kokushibo. Even after suffering from blood loss multiple times, that didn’t hamper his determination and willpower. Later on, he had his legs sliced off while stabbing Kokushibo and still managed to deal significant damage to him. Most amazingly of all, despite having his entire torso being sliced clean, he still held onto his katana and turned it crimson red, which was a big factor that led to Kokushibo’s defeat.
Although we will be training around enhanced strength, speed and endurance – we do need to recognize that Muichiro Tokito is extremely young and struts a much smaller aesthetic.
For that reason, and the fact that we’ve already utilized weight training for many of our other Demon Slayer Inspired Workouts, we’re going to build this one out with calisthenics training similar to what we utilized for Kanao – who is also younger.
