We recently saw the most powerful Demon in all of Demon Slayer with our Muzan Kibutsuji Inspired Workout, and now it’s time for the most powerful Demon Slayer ever.
Demon Slayer is one of the most popular anime here at SHJ within our Anime Workouts Database, so growing our character inspired workouts is definitely a priority.
We recently saw a list of The Most Powerful Demon Slayer Characters of All Time, and would it surprise you if I told you that Yoriichi Tsugikuni came out on top?
It shouldn’t.
These characters also help us build out our Demon Slayer Inspired Workouts Mini-Database as well as our Demon Slayer Workout Placement Quiz which both made their debut on the site not too long ago.
But now it’s time to train like the most powerful Demon Slayer….ever….
Yoriichi Tsugikuni Stats:
Real Name: Yoriichi Tsugikuni
Height: 6’3
Weight: 205 lbs.
Anime: Demon Slayer
Powers: Yes
Yoriichi Tsugikuni is actually quite tall.
He’d fall into the higher tier height among anime male characters we’ve seen thus far, and even the above average height among male celebrities at SHJ as well.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Yoriichi Tsugikuni Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Yoriichi Tsugikuni Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To get us started with our research for Yoriichi Tsugikuni we’re going to be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page.
Here’s how they start us out with his bio section:
Yoriichi Tsugikuni is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He was a legendary Demon Slayer of the Demon Slayer Corps during the Sengoku Era.
Yoriichi is the younger twin brother of Michikatsu Tsugikuni, who later became a Demon and joined the Twelve Kizuki, holding the position of Upper Rank 1.
Yoriichi is also the progenitor of Breathing Styles as a whole and was an individual with godlike gifted abilites who was fated and born to defeat Muzan Kibutsuji, but failed.
They mention his brother there as well, who also made it onto our list of The Most Powerful Demon Slayer Characters of All Time.
When we move into his powers and abilities section we begin to learn A LOT more about who we’re working with:
Overall Abilities: Yoriichi is the strongest known character in the entire history of the series and the most powerful swordsman and Demon Slayer, being born with the Demon Slayer Mark and the Transparent World. As a child untrained in swordsmanship, he was able to defeat a trained sword instructor and he was referred to as a miraculous prodigy beyond compare. After training as a Demon Slayer, Yoriichi could defeat multiple Demons to where his older brother stated that he as a child couldn’t even compare to him as an adult. He alone among the Demon Slayer Corps was able to corner Muzan Kibutsuji and had him on the verge of death until he managed to escape. Yoriichi was considered to be a real monster by Muzan, both the progenitor and strongest among all Demons.
It’s just a known thing that he is the strongest and most powerful….ever.
No question about it.
Not only was Yoriichi the greatest swordsman in history, but his powers are also listed as:
Immeasurable Strength: As the most gifted individual, Yoriichi possesses a caliber of strength unseen of before. As a child, he could knock a grown man with inclined physical talent with a wooden blade, even causing extremely severe bruises. When he was an adult, he fought and slice off the head of Muzan Kibutsuji, the most fortified body part of the strongest demon in existence with the perfected Thirteenth Form of the Sun Breathing .
Immeasurable Speed and Reflexes: Yoriichi possessed godlike levels of speed which on par, if not surpassed that of the Demon Lord, with which he was able to dodge every attack that Muzan launched at him and near-fatally injure Muzan with one move , despite the Demon’s own immeasurable speed and strength, and, when Muzan divided himself into 1,800 flesh pieces to escape, Yoriichi still managed to reduce the number down to a mere 300 in only seconds. Later , when Yoriichi was in his 80s he still can move fast enough to slit Kokushibo’s throat without the latter being able to even draw his sword out of sheath to counter Yoriichi’s attack, despite him being on guard and Yoriichi’s blade was slightly near his throat.
Immeasurable Stamina and Endurance: Even as a child, Yoriichi could run for days on end without rest, he even remarked he didn’t feel the least bit enervated. As Yoriichi managed to survive all the way to his 80’s without his body succumbing to his Demon Slayer Mark or him having lost any of his original strength despite his advanced age and blindness, its likely that Yoriichi possess immense superhuman durability and endurance to still be fully capable of fighting and killing demon despite already being an aged old man without his power waning.
If you’re here trying to train like Yoriichi I should warn you that you need to be prepared for HIGH volume and intensity.
We are going to be mixing strength training, endurance work, circuit training and calisthenics all into one big routine to try to become superhuman.
