It’s time to heat things up with some more Black Clover Inspired Workouts here at SHJ.
And, who better to heat things up than Fuegoleon Vermillion?
We’ve already seen Asta, Yami and even Mereoleona Vermillion – but now we’re going to really be stepping it up a notch.
As one of the most popular anime out right now, our Black Clover characters make a great addition to our Anime Workouts Database – and I’ll even be prioritizing a Workout Placement Quiz for them ASAP!
Fuegoleon is not only one of our most powerful Black Clover characters, but he’s also a fan favorite – which makes this one a great way to kickstart our spree into the BC universe.

Real Name: Fuegoleon Vermillion
Height: 6’1
Weight: N/A
Anime: Black Clover
Powers: Yes
Black Clover doesn’t give us a precise weight for Fuegoleon, but we do know he’s quite tall and struts an athletic physique.
His height range actually comes in fairly tall among anime male characters we’ve seen at SHJ if not compared to some of the behemoths.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.

Fuegoleon Vermillion Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.

Fuegoleon Vermillion Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
Fuegoleon is a really fun character, and to begin our research into his background and information we’ll use to build this one out we’re going to be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page.
They lead with an initial bio here:
Fuegoleon Vermillion is a nobleman and the first son of the Clover Kingdom’s House Vermillion, one of its royal families. He is also the captain of the Crimson Lion squad of the Magic Knights. He is temporarily replaced by his older sister, Mereoleona, while he is in a coma, and later returns to his position after recovering. Salamander, the spirit of fire, chooses to serve Fuegoleon after it abandons Fana.
Moving into his powers and abilities, if you didn’t already know (or it wasn’t obvious enough) we begin to learn a bit about Fuegoleon’s fire and creation magic.
Here’s how they break it down:
- Fire Magic: Fuegoleon uses this magic attribute to manipulate the element of fire. Fuegoleon has a high degree of mastery over this magic where he can concentrate a high amount of fire to increase its offensive power.
- Spirit Magic: Fuegoleon uses this form of magic to summon a spirit that can assist him in battle. He uses this magic to summon Salamander, the fire spirit.
- Reinforcement Magic: Fuegoleon uses this form of magic to increase his physical abilities.
No, we won’t be able to become Charizard with this workout we build.
BUT, there’s much more to Fuegoleon Vermillion.
They tell us more about his abilities, stating:
- Master Tactician: Fuegoleon is a master strategist, as shown in his fight with Rades Spirito, he is able to find a gap in his opponent’s defenses and precisely shoot a spell through it.
- Enhanced Strength: Fuegoleon possesses great physical strength due to Reinforcement Magic. A single punch to the gut is enough to defeat an Apostle of Sephirah.
- Immense Magic Power: As a royal and captain of a Magic Knights squad, Fuegoleon possesses an immense amount of magic power. He can create an intense pressure around his surroundings just from releasing it and manifest a large lion from his magic power.
For this one we’re going to really focus in on Fuegoleon’s enhanced strength.
We’ll also keep in mind the fact that Fuegoleon is extremely powerful and really step it up a notch with our training as well.
So be ready to lift heavy weight and progress over time if you want to become the first son of Clover Kingdom’s House Vermillion.

For this one we’re going to be training with a four day split and then you will have the option to add on an additional day of training mid week, which I recommend utilizing for some additional endurance work to let your muscles recover.
