We’ve been growing our Black Clover Inspired Workouts slowly but surely considering their recent popularity, and now I think it’s time to bring some lightning to SHJ!
Luck is a super fun character that came in at number six among our Most Popular Black Clover Characters.
He didn’t quite make it to our most powerful Black Clover characters, but he still is quite strong – and his abilities are going to be a lot of fun to write a routine around.
They’re also going to really spice up our Black Clover Workout Placement Quiz by allowing us to really add a different style of training to our list of Black Clover characters.

Luck comes in right around the average height range we see among younger male anime characters.
He’s obviously way shorter than some of the behemoths we’ve seen in our Anime Workout Database, but they’re on a whole different level.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.

Luck Voltia Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.

Luck Voltia Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To get us started with our research we’ll be pulling right from Luck’s Wiki Fandom page.
Here’s how they lead us off with a brief bio:
Luck Voltia is a 5th Class Junior Magic Knight of the Clover Kingdom’s Black Bull and Royal Knights squads. He is also the human vessel for the elf Lufulu.
From there they do give us some decent information to lead into his full bio section, which I normally don’t include. This time, though, I think it’s warranted to learn at least a bit more about Luck before we jump right into his powers and abilities.
They share this about him:
Luck is a commoner born and raised in a common household at Yvon, a village within the Clover Kingdom. He spends most of his childhood under his mother’s care, but he has a slightly strained relationship with her due to his inability to stop smiling. However, his mother’s treatment of him starts to change when he manages to defeat a fellow student of noble birth during his school’s magic tournament. His mother begins to hug him when he told her about the victory and encourages Luck to keep winning in the future, a promise that he still tries to keep since then. Sometime later, Luck’s mother passes away due to stress and leaves Luck on his own to fend for himself.
When we do finally move into his battle prowess, magic and abilities we learn just who we’re really dealing with.
To start, since it won’t really be helping us build out the routine itself, we’ll talk a little about his Lightning Magic:
- Lightning Magic: Luck uses this magic attribute to manipulate lightning. He concentrates the lightning on his hand before releasing it towards his opponent. After experiencing Lufulu control his body and mana, Luck’s Lightning Magic has greatly improved.
But what we really want is the information they give us about his abilities.
Outside of those that relate directly to how powerful his magic is, here’s what they share with us:
- Expert Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Luck is a highly proficient hand-to-hand combatant. He employs it as his main style of fighting and uses his magic in conjunction with his hand-to-hand prowess for more deadly strikes.
- Enhanced Mana Sensory: Luck has been recognized by all captains of the Magic Knights for his ability to sense mana from a great distance. Yami Sukehiro also praises him for surpassing even nobles on his prowess with this ability. He can sense magic from miles away and can also differentiate among the magic attributes of people within a group.
- Immense Speed: Luck greatly increases his speed by coating his legs with Lightning Magic. He often uses this enhanced speed to blitz his opponents and is capable of keeping up with others who also use magic to increase their speed. After experiencing how elves manipulate mana, Luck’s enhanced speed is further increased.
- Enhanced Durability: Luck possesses incredible durability, as shown when he could stand and continue to fight even after being weakened by a magic attack.
For this one our main focus is going to be Luck’s immense speed, but we’ll also be working with weight training to build the strength needed to get faster, and then we’ll also have a fully bodyweight conditioning circuit that will be our Lightning Speed Circuit Test.
That test will be performed week to week and you’ll have option endurance and HIIT work throughout the week as well, but the ideal situation is that you will continuously improve on the amount of reps you can complete with the calisthenics movements within the circuit.

Luck Voltia Workout Routine
3-5 days per week
Explanation:
For this one we have 2 days a week that WILL involve weight training (you can sub these two for upper/lower body calisthenics days we’ve had plenty of in our calisthenics workouts), and then 1 day devoted to our calisthenics condition circuit which will be our Lightning Speed Circuit Test [weekly]. On top of that you’ll have two optional programmed days devoted to endurance and/or HIIT, as well as some bonus resources I’ll provide.

For your endurance, HIIT or MMA/Parkour days you have quite a few options.
You can utilize enforced endurance training that I will program for you based on your fitness level like we do with other workouts here at SHJ…OR you can do 45-60+ minutes of varied cardio (bike, treadmill, elliptical, stairs, row, swim, etc.)…OR you can even use the HIIT resources I’ll provide.
I’ll break it down in that order:
Option One – Run Based on Overall Fitness Level:
Beginner: 1-3 Miles
Intermediate: 3-5 Miles
Advanced: 5+ Miles
Endurance Work Resources:

In a perfect world our Academy members or 90 Day System members will use this day to work in our Benchmark Workouts to continue testing and improving scores and tracking them against other members; especially our SHJ Core Benchmarks (although our Hero Benchmarks are just as awesome).
If you are not an Academy member or you don’t have access to a 90 Day System, you can also sub in different circuits here from some of the HIIT resources I provide.
