Uub is one of my favorite Dragon Ball characters of all time.
I would call him my absolute favorite, but you know….Vegeta.
We have a TON of workouts within our Dragon Ball Inspired Workout Database, so it actually took longer than I would have liked to get him added to our growing list of over 500 anime workouts.
That being said, he actually didn’t make our list of the most popular Dragon Ball characters OR our list of the most powerful Dragon Ball characters – which is why he was put to the side for a bit while I waited for more requests to come in for him.
Although, I will admit it’s a little unfair considering Buu was requested and one of the most popular and he is a reincarnation!
Either way, I’m sure a ton of members are going to love getting him as an answer on our Dragon Ball Workout Placement Quiz.
Uub Stats:
Real Name: Uub
Height: 5’1
Weight: N/A
Anime: Dragon Ball GT
Powers: Yes
Uub is extremely short. Even shorter than our average height among our male anime characters – which is already really short!
Compared to our behemoths within our Anime Workout Database he is like a dot on the map.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Uub Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Uub Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about how awesome Uub is we’ll be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page, which leads us off with some base information:
Uub is the human reincarnation of Majin Buu. He is the eldest of five children. He becomes a martial arts pupil of Goku.
From there we have a TON of information on Uub’s powers and abilities, so we’ll jump right into breaking them down.
Here’s how they start us off:
Uub is the most powerful pure Earthling to exist in the Dragon Ball Z series (thanks to being a reincarnation of Kid Buu). Uub has a massive amount of hidden potential but can only access it out of anger. When Uub is very young, Dende describes him to be a brilliant martial artist.
In the Universe Survival Saga, Uub is stated by Dende has having extraordinary talents, but because of his age as the reincarnation of Kid Buu, he is still too young to realize it, which caused Dende to suggest that Goku trains him sometime in the future.
In the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga, it was revealed that as the reincarnation of Kid Buu, Uub inherited all of the remaining godly power from the Grand Supreme Kai, which Vegeta referred to as a “ridiculous amount” after Uub unknowingly sent his power to Goku and the others, giving him enough power to enter Perfected Ultra Instinct, while also letting him manifest an enormous energy avatar of himself.
In his battle with Goku at the end of Dragon Ball Z, when Uub is angry he is shown capable of holding his own against him. During their fight, Uub is able to match Goku’s base form speed while he was learning how to fight.
And they have even more information about his training and fighting/sparring with Goku, but before I share that I want to point out that we are clearly going to have our work cut out for us here – dealing with an extremely powerful character.
Here’s what they go on to tell us about his sparring with Goku in Dragon Ball GT:
In a sparring match at the beginning of Dragon Ball GT, Uub is seen holding his own against his master Goku in his base form (In the end, the two warriors both pass-out from their respective injuries, showing a stalemate (although Goku did technically faint after Uub while carrying him out). In the Funimation dub, Goku compliments Uub’s power, stating that his battle with Uub was his toughest since his battle against Frieza on Namek. In the Japanese dub, Goku merely says that he finally got to fight Uub all out for once, and achieved his goal of teaching Uub to harness the power of old life.
From there they go on to describe some of his training in the mountains during the Baby Saga:
Uub goes into the mountains to train during the Baby Saga while Baby conquers the planet. He arrives in the nick of time to save Pan, swearing to avenge Goku. The narrator states that Uub is brawnier, speaking of his improvement from the start of GT to then. During his initial match with Super Baby 2, Uub is able to deal some powerful blows but is still beaten. During their fight however, Baby tactically tests the limits of Uub’s strength by allowing Uub to land a powerful energy blast, giving the appearance of the parasite in danger. In the English Dub, after a possessed Gohan, Goten, and Trunks came to Baby’s aid, Baby stated that Uub may possess power greater than the three half Saiyans combined. In the Japanese dub, he states that he enjoys fighting Uub. (comparatively he thought Super Saiyan 3 Goku was a pathetic opponent.)
At one point he also fuses with Majin Buu, making him Majuub, which they break down as follows:
After fusing with his original counterpart Majin Buu, he transformed into Majuub – the equivalent of a re-unified Super Buu – and his power level soars to new heights. He was able to fight on par with Super Baby 2 for a period of time (while tail-less Super Saiyan 3 Little Goku was easily defeated) and during their beam clash Super Baby 2 was forced to use his full power, seemingly overpowering Uub and then moments later eating him. However this was all a part of Uub’s plan so he could later attack Baby from the inside.
We won’t specifically be training around Majuub, but it is important information to note about Uub and his journey.
Either way we are going to be working hard to get incredibly strong and fast with insane amounts of endurance/stamina and a JACKED physique.
For that we’re going to be training with weights, but we’ll also be including a high intensity training circuit that will double for Uub’s training with Goku.
