It’s time for another Kuroko’s Basketball character!
We started with Tetsuya and now it’s time to bring in one of the most skilled and most popular characters in the anime.
I had originally expected you guys to request Seijuro Akashi first, but The SHJ Army made it clear you want Daiki next.
Our Kuroko’s Basketball characters aren’t requested nearly as much as some of the bigger anime in our Anime Workouts Database, but I’ll definitely make sure we get them sporadically for you guys.
Daiki will make another fun addition to our Anime Workout Placement Quizzes as well.
Daiki Aomine Stats:
Real Name: Daiki Aomine
Height: 6’4
Weight: 191 lbs.
Anime: Kuroko’s Basketball
Powers: No
We see Daiki go from 5’9 up to 6’4, which makes him extremely tall compared to most anime characters we have.
That puts him as tall as Dwayne Johnson, but about forty pounds lighter.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Daiki Aomine Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Daiki Aomine Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Daiki I’m going to be pulling from his Wiki Fandom, which starts with this:
Daiki Aomine was the ace player of the renowned Generation of Miracles and was the former partner/light of Kuroko in Teikō. He currently plays as the ace and power forward of Tōō Academy. He and Kagami are sworn rivals after their clashes in the Interhigh preliminaries and in the Winter Cup. He was the main antagonist until the first round of the Winter Cup.
And when we move down into his Skills and Abilities we learn a lot more about just how skilled Daiki is.
Here’s how they lead us off about his overall skill level:
As the ace of the Generation of Miracles, he was regarded as “a monster” in basketball, as he was leagues ahead of anyone that came second to him, even among the talents of the Generation of Miracles. His abilities can be described as extremely fast, extremely strong and extremely skillful. It is shown that Aomine can essentially score the basketball from any position on the court. He is very fast, agile, and powerful which enables him to get past even the strongest of defensive minded players. He accomplishes this by performing insane crossovers, changing his speed and direction of movement at an absurd rate, leaving his opponent behind. Overall, these well rounded and polished skills make him an amazing player who is often described as “a monster”. Aomine is so skilled he along with Kagami is called the double ace of Team Vorpal Sword (a team made up of the Generation of Miracles).
Before they even get into his speed and agility section they continue by saying:
As explained by Midorima, Aomine learned to play basketball on the streets without lessons, so while not possessing the basic movements of basketball play, it is said that Aomine never has a non-changing movement, be it passing, dribbling or shooting. His play is described as limitless.[53] It’s extremely difficult to guard him as only a hand-full of players could keep up with him. Kuroko and Kise are shown to capability of stopping Aomine predicting his movements based off their past experiences as teammates.
Aomine is described as a solo player, only playing one-on-one against his opponents and not passing the ball to his teammates even when he is cornered. His skill is reflected in the fact that he has beaten Kise in a one-on-one before, though this was before Kise acquired the Perfect Copy. At one point it even took a triple team of Kagami, Kiyoshi, and Kuroko to stop Aomine.
His other ability, is the control of his animal instinct, with his instincts compared to that of a panther. This enables him to play purely on feeling and greatly enhance his five senses, making his reflexes and speed top notch. Since Aomine stopped playing seriously his instincts became dull. However it came back slowly during his battle with Kagami.
We’re not going to be able to train around an animal instinct, but we’re definitely going to be training around his speed and strength.
They continue on about his speed and agility by sharing:
Aomine is not just extremely fast but his acceleration and deceleration is extremely fast too. As seen in the match against Seirin High, he broke free from Kagami with his speed than stopped in front of the defense and shot with a fadeaway in an instant. Aomine can also sprint back to defense and perform chase-down block.
As stated by Midorima, Aomine transcends even the rest of the Generation of Miracles when it comes to speed and agility. Aomine is so fast he has gotten passed all of Seirin’s starters, taking the ball coast to coast with his speed.
So for this one we’re going to be specifically training around endurance and calisthenics to focus on:
- Daiki’s Lean and Toned Physique
- Daiki’s Strength and Speed
We’ll be adding some intensity to work around the basketball, so expect some supersets, and circuits as well.
