We started rolling with our Chainsaw Man Inspired Workouts and now you guys want them to keep on coming.
We went from Denji to Makima and now we’re in with Aki Hayakawa.
All our characters are super powerful but also have lean and toned physiques that make these routines a lot of fun – so I’m excited to have Hayakawa joining us this quickly.
You guys already have a couple more characters you want to see in the queue to be added from Chainsaw Man, which means we’ll probably have a few more weeks of additions coming in.
Aki Hayakawa Stats:
Real Name: Aki Hayakawa
Height: 5’9
Weight: 120 lbs.
Anime: Chainsaw Man
Powers: Yes
Although Hayakawa would be considered in a shorter range among male superheroes and celebrities, he is actually just above average height among male anime characters.
The average is going up a bit being that we have so many behemoths joining our Anime Workouts Database, but once we add in his super light weight, he definitely didn’t stand a chance.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Aki Hayakawa Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Aki Hayakawa Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Aki Hayakawa we’ll be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom which starts us off with a brief bio section:
Aki Hayakawa was a Public Safety Devil Hunter, working under Makima’s special squad. He had contracts with the Curse Devil and Future Devil, and a former contract with the Fox Devil. He was killed and possessed by the Gun Devil, thus becoming a Gun Fiend.
When we move into his abilities section I’ll be starting with his Devil Contracts, Devil Powers and even Skillset before making our was into his physical prowess, which is actually what we’ll need the most to build out this workout.
Here’s what they tell us leading into his abilities section:
- Curse Devil Contract: Aki has a contract with the Curse Devil which grants him a nail-like sword. In order to use it, Aki’s life would be significantly shortened.
- Future Devil Contract: After losing favor with the Fox Devil, Aki was taken to the Future Devil which is held prisoner by Public Safety, and he managed to gain a contract to use its abilities in exchange for letting the Future Devil live inside his right eye.
- Fox Devil Contract: Aki Hayakawa had a contract with the Fox Devil. In exchange for feeding him a part of his body Aki could enlist his power in combat. Aki lost the ability to summon him after he used the Fox Devil recklessly against the Katana Man.
When we move into his Devil Powers they also say:
- Bullet Projection: As the Gun Fiend, Aki can fires bullets from the gun in his left forearm and head with great precision and speed. He was able to break walls and Denji apart with ease as well as destroy multiple buildings at once.
- Blood Consumption: As the Gun Fiend, Aki Hayakawa’s corpse is able to restore his health by consuming blood.
And his swordsmanship and hand to hand combat skills, which are definitely relevant for our routine:
- Swordsmanship: Aki is a proficient swordsman, wielding a sword as his primary weapon when fighting devils. By using a special sword, made by Angel, Aki can harm and kill being that are normally intangible, such as Ghosts. He is skilled enough to defeat multiple zombies and even keep up with physically superior opponents, such as hybrids, with the help of his devil contracts.
- Hand-to-Hand Combat: Aki has decent skills in boxing, he was capable of easily defeating a boxer far more muscular then him.
All this leads us right into his physical prowess and rounds out exactly how we’ll need to build our routine.
Here’s how his Fandom breaks it down:
- Enhanced Durability: The gun in his forearm is surprisingly durable, being able to block multiple hits from Denji’s chainsaw with ease.
- Enhanced Speed: Aki displays insane speed, being able to travel to Power’s location and attack her after blasting Denji from the entrance of his apartment extremely quickly.
Based on his physical abilities being primarily speed and durability it allows us to build this one out around his physique, swordsmanship and therefore calisthenics training!
That means the goals for our Aki Hayakawa Inspired Workout are:
- Hayakawa’s Speed and Durability
- Hayakawa’s Swordsmanship and Combat Mobility
- Hayakawa’s Lean and Toned Aesthetic
Be ready for some swordsman ninja-like calisthenics training – but don’t be afraid to scale down if needed.
You can also choose to start with our Beginner Ninja Workout if you feel necessary.
