We’re finally bringing in another Blue Lock character to join Yoichi Isagi.
I’ve read a bit of the manga and now I’m watching the anime as it releases, and it’s amazing.
It definitely makes sense why Blue Lock is currently one of the most popular manga in Japan right now in terms of overall sales (coming in within the top ten month after month).
We don’t have a Blue Lock Database, but Meguru Bachira will be joining our other athletes inside our Sports Themed Anime Workouts; a list continuously growing in popularity.
Meguru Bachira Stats:
Real Name: Meguru Bachira
Height: 5’9 1/4
Weight: N/A
Anime: Blue Lock
Powers: No
Meguru is actually quite tall compared to other male anime characters we’ve seen.
The range is growing as we’ve been seeing more behemoths added into our Anime Workouts Database, but 5’9 still comes in fairly tall (although short compared to superheroes and male celebs).
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Meguru Bachira Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Meguru Bachira Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Meguru Bachira, who is a super fun character, I’ll be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page that leads us off with this:
Meguru Bachira is a major supporting character of Blue Lock.
Bachira is a whimsical forward who plays following his instincts and when first arriving at Blue Lock he was a member of Team Z during First Selection. His main goal was to find soccer rivals to play with, who also have a “monster” inside of them but that later changes to becoming the best striker in the world when he overcomes his childhood trauma.
After the Japan U-20 match, Bachira currently plays as center forward for FC Barcha in the Neo Egoist League.
When we move into Meguru’s abilities they start off by putting him in an archetype, which tells us the type of player he is.
Here’s how they start it off before even getting into his skills:
Dribbler: Dribblers are players known for their close ball control ability that is used to go past defenders by sudden change of direction and acceleration sometimes combined with great pace. The skill is used to create opportunities for other attackers or to score themselves having broken through the opposition’s defence using what is sometimes referred to as “trickery”. One of the great spectator sights in football is a player going on a “mazy run” with the ball, twisting and turning to avoid opposition tackles, beating a number of players.
They also go into his skills and continue on how impressive he is with his dribbling.
They discuss his “Elastic Dribbling” which also goes on to talk about his speed and precision.
From there they even talk about how good of a passer he is, but what we’re most interested in is his Flow State and Monstrance:
Flow State: Flow, as described by Ego, is the state of “total immersion” or “being in the zone”. It is the mental state in which a person performing some activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity.
Bachira has unintentionally and intentionally entered Flow State numerous times during Blue Lock, as early as the First Selection. In this state he has performed a triple nutmeg on some of the best players in Blue Lock and has broken through their defense with ease almost scoring all by himself if not for the confidence and respect his opponent had in his skill which caused them to intercept him.
Starting with his Flow State we get the idea of this ability, but it gets even more awesome when we expand on it with his Monstrance:
Monstrance: When he enters the Flow State, Bachira enters a challenge-centred trance, performing techniques incredibly quickly, including multiple feints and moving purely on instinct. Since he moves without conscious thought, it is incredibly difficult to predict and stop for the defenders. In this state, Bachira was able to easily overcome the U20 defenders and even Oliver Aiku. Bachira has evolved this further by being able to go into Monstrance at will and even combining his explosive style with the free and flowing Ginga style of Ravinho being able to produce even more explosively creative plays.
Knowing Meguru Bachira is even part of the Blue Lock shows us how incredible of a player he is; but that doesn’t mean he’s extremely overpowered when it comes to strength or speed.
That will allow us to build around his slim and toned soccer player physique while tacking on training for athletic speed (not specifically overpowered); leaving this one to be built more at an intermediate level instead of an advanced one that beginners won’t be able to utilize.
Being that I’m able to keep it intermediate, I’ll be also making sure beginners can scale it down a bit with some ease, so you shouldn’t even have to start off with our Beginner Ninja Workout; and should be able to jump right in with some minor tweaks.
The goals for our Meguru Bachira Inspired Workout are:
- Meguru Bachira’s Soccer Player Speed and Endurance
- Meguru Bachira’s Slim and Toned Physique
- Meguru Bachira’s Agility and Nimbleness
You should definitely be ready for some cardio, and if you really want to train like a soccer player you’ll want to add in even more than I’m including in this one.
This will mainly be for building around the abilities while also losing some fat and shooting for a Bachira style physique.
