Since we’re on a roll with our Magi Inspired Workouts I decided to keep it going and bring in our fourth workout, filling up the new database a bit more in the process.
This time we’re going to be covering Muu Alexius, who is toned and shredded, enabling us to add another weight training routine to our growing lineup.
But don’t worry, we have plenty of calisthenics workouts in our database, and we already have two bodyweight routines among our Magi characters as well.
We’ll be going over the goals below, so stick around and know that we’re definitely looking to get shredded for this one.
Muu Alexius Stats:
Real Name: Muu Alexius
Height: 6’3 1/2
Weight: 200 lbs.
Anime: Magi
Powers: Yes
Muu Alexius is actually pretty tall if we compare him to male anime characters, coming in only two and a half inches off what we would consider a behemoth within our Anime Workouts Database.
That said, he actual is the tallest among our Magi characters that we’ve seen thus far.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Muu Alexius Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Muu Alexius Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Muu Alexius we’re going to be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page starting with his bio section here:
Muu Alexius is a half-blood Fanalis and the former leader of Reim Empire’s Fanalis Corps. He is the owner of the Djinn Barbatos. He is a Dungeon Capturer, having captured one Dungeon and is one of Scheherazade’s King Vessels. During the Final Arc, Muu is now a member of Reim Empire’s Senate, which is now a Republic, and is also a fellow Ambassador when he attended the assembly of the International Alliance.
This doesn’t tell us much about what we’ll be using for his workout routine, but it does give us an idea about where we’re headed (assuming you’re a Magi fan, at least).
Moving into his appearance section (which we sometimes skip), we can see they immediately make mention to his muscular aesthetic:
Muu is a tall and muscular man. He has long, red hair and red eyes with distinctive markings, due to his Fanalis heritage. Like most Fanalis, Muu has a piercing under his lower lip. He wears a metal cuirass, shoulder plates, a metal skirt, shin guards, sandals, and a large sword that he carries at his waist.
We’ll learn a lot about his abilities, ranging from different types that will help us with the workout, and be completely useless to us, but to start I’m going to go over his physical abilities here:
As Muu is a half-blood Fanalis, he’s not as strong as the Pure Blood, so he is comparatively weaker than the average Fanalis but still has great physical strength. Muu was also born with exceptional speed. Muu, as a Fanalis, maybe has superior hearing and smell.
Besides his physical prowess, Muu has some skills with a sword, as he is known to be the strongest swordsman of the Reim Empire.
This tells us a lot about what we’re working with, and also gives us some insight into the fact that we don’t have to work around insane strength, but still need to make strength and speed a priority.
From there we can also talk about his Meta Vessel which they describe as follows:
Barbatos is the Strength Djinn that Muu obtained when he conquered the 8th Dungeon. He is the Djinn of Hunting and Nobility. Muu’s Metal Vessel is the sword that he always carries at his side. By activating his Metal Vessel, he can increase his slicing power to create aerial slashes. Muu’s Household is made up of his sister, Myron, and his subordinate, Lo’lo’, and possibly other members of the Fanalis Corps.
Partially helpful, partially not.
But we have our goals pretty clear already.
The goals for our Muu Alexius Inspired Workout are:
- Muu Alexius’ Shredded Muscular Physique
- Muu Alexius’ Strength and Speed
- Muu Alexius’ Agility and Endurance
For this one we’re revolving it around a powerful character, but also not a super overpowered character that is the strongest in the entire anime/manga, so we’ll be able to scale it back and bit and work more around an intermediate level.
From there you’ll even be able to make some cuts and turn it into a beginner level if you’d like, or you can even start with our Beginner Behemoth Workout (or any of our other Beginner Workouts).

Muu Alexius Workout Routine
4-5+ days per week
I normally program three days of training for my basic full body split, which is what we’ll be using for Muu Alexius since we are looking to get a shredded muscular physique, but we have also added some four day splits to the site as well (and even a 6 day split!). That said, for this one I’m going to program you four days, but it will function as a three day split unless you want to add the fourth day in. That means you can also adjust the workout schedule as needed.
Want To Upgrade This Workout?
The Superhero Academy now comes with an Upgrade Your Workout Tool that allows Academy members to turn any SHJ workout into a 4-8 week fully planned regime detailing exact weights to lift and including reverse & traditional pyramid training, straight sets, super sets, progressive overload and more.
