It’s technically not four in a row, but we’re on a roll with Fairy Tail Inspired Workouts this week.
We’ve already seen our Juvia Lockser Inspired Workout and Wendy Marvell Inspired Workout and now we’re back for Sting Eucliffe!
This week has even enabled us to get our own mini-workout-database for our Fairy Tail characters (linked to above) within our larger Anime Workout Database.
That means next on the list of Fairy Tail awesomeoness is going to be some listicles like we’ve seen for the other anime.
Sting Eucliffe Stats:
Real Name: Sting Eucliffe
Height: 5’8
Weight: 150 lbs.
Anime: Fairy Tail
Powers: Yes
Sting Eucliffe is pretty shredded, but he’s not as tall as his muscles make him appear (at least in my opinion).
He’s slightly taller than some of the male anime characters we’ve seen at SHJ but would be considered below average height if compared to male celebrities we’ve seen.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.

Sting Eucliffe Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.

Feitan Portor Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To kickstart our research into Sting Eucliffe we’re going to be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page.
Right off the bat they give us a brief introduction to his character, which says:
Sting Eucliffe is the current Guild Master of the Sabertooth Guild, and is part of the Twin Dragons of Sabertooth. Originally a Dragon Slayer from four hundred years past, Sting was sent to the future to assist in the destruction of Acnologia.
They move onto his physical appearance section (which we don’t always use, but we’ll just pull a small piece of it) by stating:
Sting is a slim, yet muscular, toned young man of average height with spiky blond hair, which is kept in strands jutting outwards in every direction, and a smaller, frontal cowlick (or tuft) of hair partially hanging over his forehead.
So we’re not really trying to become extremely massive like we might be trying to become All Might or The Hulk or something – but we do want to be muscular and ripped with visible six pack and low body fat percentages!
Of course we’ll also be taking his powers and abilities into consideration as we build this one.
Moving into Sting’s power and ability section his Wiki Fandom goes into a TON of detail about his magic.
They start off with:

With each of those they also break down a bunch of abilities that come with them, but we’ll be skipping ahead a bit to the information we can use for this workout.

- Enhanced Smell
For the sake of unlocking Sting’s physique while also training for his strength and speed we’ll be utilizing some weight training combined with some HIIT and other training styles to really step it up a notch.

Sting Eucliffe Workout Routine
Training Volume:

Explanation:
We’re going to be training with 4 days a week of cardio and weight training and then 1 day per week we’ll be doing a longer circuit style high intensity workout that will help with both endurance and strength as well. You can also tack on MMA training or swap the HIIT training with the additional resources I provide at the end.
