Licht is one of our most powerful Black Clover characters of all time (comes in at number three), AND he even made the runner up section of our most popular Black Clover characters as well.
Which isn’t abnormal actually; we have a handful of really popular villains within our Anime Workouts Database.
Licht’s powers are going to be extremely fun to build this one out around while also factoring in his overall aesthetic that we see in the show as well.

Licht is actually fairly short, although within a common range of other anime male characters we’ve seen here at SHJ.
He’s definitely dwarfed by a handful of behemoths we’ve seen, but there are a good portion of the younger male characters that are right there with him.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.

Licht Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.

Licht Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To start off our research into Licht and really start to nail down what we’ll be basing this workout around we’ll be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page.
They lead us off with a brief bio section, stating:
Licht is the leader of the Elf Tribe and one of its ten Apostles of Sephirah. He was married to Tetia, a human royal.
After the Massacre of the Elf Tribe, Licht turns himself into a demon and attacks the Clover Kingdom. He is slain by Prince Lemiel Silvamillion Clover, Licht’s brother-in-law and the first Magic Emperor, and Licht’s demonic skeleton remains on the outskirts of Hage.
While some of our other characters were a bit harder to build a workout around (with some simple exceptions being Yami and Asta and their muscular physiques and even training styles); Licht actually has some fun abilities to train around.
When we move into his powers and abilities we learn:
- Master Swordsman: Licht is a powerful master swordsman, as shown when he overpowers both Asta and Yuno with his swordsmanship. He is also capable of countering Zagred’s attacks with ease.
- Immense Speed: Licht is extremely fast, as shown when he outpaces Asta’s Ki-sensing. His speed is shown to be on par with Lemiel Silvamillion Clover, a Light Magic user.
- Immense Magic Power: As an elf and the leader of his race, Licht possesses an immense amount of magic power. By concentrating extremely large amounts of mana, Licht is able to float and levitate himself and other people. After being fully awakened, Licht’s power is overwhelmingly vast but not oppressive for his allies.
- Ultimate Magic: Licht uses the elves’ magic technique for fully embodying his magic.
So we already know we’ll be training around an insane power level and immense speed, while also needing to add in tactics we’ve utilized to train around other swordsman that have made it within our Workouts Database.
If we hop back to the actual breakdown of his magic, his Wiki describes it as such:
- Sword Magic: Licht uses this magic attribute to generate swords.
- Reinforcement Magic: Licht uses this form of magic to increase his physical abilities.
- Union Magic: Licht combines his Sword Magic with others’ magic to create more powerful spells.
- Forbidden Magic: Licht uses this form of magic to cast spells that draw power from the underworld. Due to this magic, Licht’s own magic is tainted by the other world, which enables it to counter Zagred’s magic.
So Licht has powerful swords on demand at all times, but he also has his reinforcement magic, like Yami, which makes his physical abilities much stronger – therefore giving us another reason to step it up a notch with our training.
While I will be pulling aspects from our Assassin Calisthenics 90 Day System (which has even helped train new U.S. Marines), I’ll more-so be taking aspects of training from our Superhuman 90 Day System for this one and using a nice mix of weight training and calisthenics to boost our speed, overall performance levels and get a cut, slim physique.

Explanation:
We’re going to be training with 3 full body training days per week and then 2 days devoted to high intensity full body circuit workouts (one of which will be unique to Licht and another we’re borrowing from another swordsman and Demon Slayer (ironically enough), Yoriichi Tsugikuni!) that will combine calisthenics, weights and endurance work.
