Buddha is one of the most popular Record of Ragnarok characters right up there without Adam based on search results, and he hasn’t even made it to the anime yet!
We’ve also had Zeus considering he was requested so much among The SHJ Army, but now we’re here for another one of humanity’s reps!
We don’t have a full Record of Ragnarok database within our Anime Workouts Database just yet, but based on the amount of requests I have been getting for more characters I’m sure we’re going to have one pretty soon.
Either way, for now, I’ll be adding Buddha right to our Anime Workout Placement Quiz for you guys.
Buddha ROR Stats:
Real Name: Buddha
Height: N/A
Weight: N/A
Anime: Record of Ragnarok
Powers: Yes
Buddha doesn’t have a height and weight listed, but based on what we can tell he struts a tall and toned physique.
If we base it on history he was said to be around 6′ tall, but some sources say he was even taller!
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Buddha ROR Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Buddha ROR Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Buddha we’re going to be pulling from his Wiki Fandom, which starts us off with this snippet for his bio:
Buddha is Humanity’s representative in the sixth round of Ragnarok, going against Zerofuku, despite initially being listed as a representative for the Gods.
Buddha is a prominent deity in the Dharmic Pantheon, being the founder of Buddhism, one of the Four Sages, as well as one of the few divine beings, alongside Heracles and the Valkyries, who are not in favor of destroying Humanity. Buddha was formerly a Human by the name of Gautama Siddhartha and a famous philosophical figure hailing from Nepal, before attaining enlightenment and eventually ascending to Godhood.
And when we move down into the section that breaks down his abilities we learn a TON of information, ranging from physical abilities (which we’ll be really utilizing the most), to mental abilities, fighting abilities and supernatural abilities!
To start off, here’s what they share for his Mental, Fighting and Supernatural Abilities:
Semi-Immortality: Like all Gods, Buddha is eternally youthful, being incapable of dying due to old age.
Divine Physiology: As a God, Buddha is a being with divine and transcendent attributes and characteristics far superior to any ordinary human. Like all Gods, his body is completely invulnerable to weapons created by Humans, however, he can still be harmed by physical attacks from individuals with superhuman strength and Divine Weapons.
Buddhist Realm Empowerment:As the founder of Buddhism, Buddha can draw power from the six worlds which mankind can reincarnate into, better known as the six realms, with each one having a form of the Bodhisattava Kannon protecting them. This power takes the form of his Six Realms Staff which stores the power of those six guardian Buddhas.
Wisdom: As one of Four Sages, Buddha possesses great wisdom. He is referred to as the Enlightened One, who rediscovered an ancient path to freedom from ignorance, craving and the cycle of rebirth and suffering. His teachings are one of the core aspects of Buddhism, the world’s fourth-largest religion.
Enhanced Charisma: As part of his royal education, Buddha has learned all of the necessary skills required to rule a country. After abandoning his royal position, Buddha went on a journey where he managed to get followers and believers effortlessly. These believers would spread his teachings, reinforcing Buddha’s position as the founder of Buddhism.
Weapons Master: Buddha is shown to be proficient in many forms of weaponry. His Six Realms Staff can be transformed into a great variety of weapons, which Buddha can use in combat.
A ton of information at once, but that’s even with some slight irrelevant cuts, and all of which is relevant to Buddha’s overall background information for us.
When we move into his physical abilities we really learn about what we’ll be training around:
Godly Strength: Buddha possesses godly physical strength, as shown when a light kick from Buddha damaged Zerofuku so much that he coughed up blood and couldn’t breathe. Buddha could also push Zerofuku’s giant axe with his shield as well as strike with so much force, it caused him to bleed.
Godly Speed & Reflexes: Buddha managed to react to and dodge Ebisu’s point-blank shot effortlessly and with finesse, and could easily match Zeus in speed and reflexes while trying to keep his candy bowl away from him. In his match against Zerofuku, Buddha effortlessly dodged his incessant and blinding axe swings, occasionally even moving at speeds that surpass Zerofuku. With the help of his ability, Pure Enlightenment Eight Consciousness, his reaction time is further improved, to the point where he usually makes a preemptive move to dodge before his opponent even attacks.
Godly Endurance and Stamina: Buddha was capable of exerting himself to his physical and mental limit throughout the duration of his fight with Hajun, even after being pushed to a near death state he was still able to continue fighting. Buddha’s tolerance to pain was shown when he withstood multiple of Hajun’s attacks and even enduring the pain of having his abdomen punctured and having one of his eyes gouged out.
This is what our workout will really be built around.
So what we are looking to accomplish with this routine is:
- Shredded and Muscular Physique (like Buddha)
- Godly Strength and Speed
- Godly Stamina and Endurance
I will be throwing in some Buddhism flair with meditation and yoga, but we are going to be working with weight training to accomplish these goals.
Buddha is JACKED and clearly insanely strong and fast, so I’d be doing you a disservice by not programming the workout in a way that gets you closest to accomplishing those things.

dont forget, buddha has a huge sweet tooth so you’ve got to factor in the love he has for sweets, the basket of chocolets/ the large bucket of popcorn all in the space of a few hours at most, so i dread to think how many he eats in a whole day lol
Haha ! Well we’re building around his physique and abilities, not his diet. If we built around diets we’d have a lot of ninjas and saiyans eating ramen.
It would be nice if there was a character suggestion area on the site
You mean to request/suggest characters? That’s right in the footer secton.
Yes I was thinking of suggesting some characters like: Harumi Takeda, Futaba’s Grandpa, Takahashi, Tetsuo and Satou, Sakie
I think it’s really cool with how he develops the posts, because in addition to passing the training, he talks a little about the character.
I get like 100+ a day and base it on popularity so I recommend sending in 1-2 of your favorites to be added 🙂
Should you really mix leg and arms in a single day`?.
I personally dont know that much about fitness. I do go to fitness but i havent done that much research.
Some people don’t hit arms separately at all. They do a “Push, Pull, Legs” split and mix in some accessory arm work on the push and pull day. Arms are pretty easy to work in where you need and you hit them a lot on the other days.
Ok thank you! I was just wondering, since i usually do An arms day, a leg day and so on and so on but ill try to follow this exercise plan
