We need some more Jujutsu Kaisen here at SHJ to bring back some life to our Jujutsu Kaisen Inspired Workouts Database.
Although I personally think “back to life” is a poor choice of words for Masamichi Yaga, some people might think it’s actually a great choice of words…
We’ll discuss more about him in our workout routine research section below, so I don’t want to get too into detail about his background just yet.
As you can tell by the image of Yaga: he is shredded – which is why we’ve had handfuls of requests coming in for him.
That said, he didn’t quite make it onto the list of the most popular Jujutsu Kaisen characters or even the list of the most powerful Jujutsu Kaisen characters – but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t worthy of runner up sections!
After all, he was both Gojo and Geto’s teacher (and Panda’s creator)!
Just that alone means he’ll be a fun addition to the Jujutsu Kaisen Workout Placement Quiz.
Masamichi Yaga Stats:
Real Name: Masamichi Yaga
Height: 6’3.6
Weight: N/A
Anime: Jujutsu Kaisen
Powers: Yes
Yaga comes in actually above average height when we compare him to our male anime characters that we’ve seen thus far.
Although he definitely is still dwarfed by some of the behemoths we have within our Anime Workouts Database.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Masamichi Yaga Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Masamichi Yaga Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Masamichi Yaga I’m going to be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page, starting with a brief bio they start with here:
Masamichi Yaga is a character in Jujutsu Kaisen. He was the principal of Tokyo Jujutsu High, the creator of Panda, and Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, and Shoko Ieiri’s teacher while they were second-year students.
From there we can move into his abilities, although they aren’t as long as we are used to seeing with many of our other characters.
Here’s how they break it down for us:
Shortly before his execution, Masamichi was in considered to be reclassified as a Special-grade jujutsu sorcerer, not for his raw power, but the potential of his technique. Masmichi has demonstrated the ability to create self-sufficient, intelligent Cursed Corpses that generate their own Cursed Energy. This means he could potentially create an endless army of autonomous Cursed Corpses that require no external support.
We know that he’s powerful, but we don’t have all that much information to build on.
Another thing they have listed, which is relevant to his power level and specialty is:
Great Cursed Energy: As a sorcerer and the principal of the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College he has high levels of cursed energy in which he makes use of controlling puppets to attack enemies.
They also go on to list his “puppets”, including Panda.
That said, we do have to keep Yaga’s overall physique and aesthetic in mind a centerpiece for our training.
So if we break down our main goals of this workout we come away with:
- Masamichi Yaga’s Shredded Muscular Physique
- Masamichi Yaga’s Special Grade Training
And being that we’re not working around what they call “raw power” in terms of sheer strength and speed, and more-so building around his muscular physique, we can build this one around calisthenics and bodyweight training.
This also allows us to work around a super efficient system, training for aesthetics and keeping the fitness level at a beginner to intermediate level for members of The SHJ Army to step in without having to scale as much as normal.

yujiro hanma calisthenic?
<3
Nah lol. That would be a disservice to you guys. You can’t train for that kind of goal with calisthenics.
hmm that’s make sense xd
what is the best workout for build strength?
Lordgenome or guts?
btw how you do workout? it’s hard to do?sorry i’m taking your time
We have Guts. Are you asking for Lordgenome and Guts specifically calisthenics? I suggest just going into the calisthenics database or sorting some of the anime sections by calisthenics if that’s what you want.
I train most similar to The Academy 90 Day System, and I’m currently using our Buu to Baki Challenge and 90 Day System because that’s releasing this month.
thx sorry <3
