Along with Dragon Ball Z who just added our Bardock Inspired Workout to it’s mini-database, My Hero Academia continues to sky-rocket with requests.
With it’s newest season currently dropping new episodes our request form is flooded, and it’s nice for both our My Hero Academia Inspired Workout Database, and the fact that I can’t wait to get some more awesome listicles up!
So far we’ve seen The Top Ranked My Hero Academia Pro Heroes and The Most Powerful My Hero Academia Characters of All Time, BUT there’s a lot more where that comes from.
Tamaki Amajiki is part of The Big 3, along with Mirio Togato and Nejire Hado, which means he’s definitely going to be one of the most powerful students we’ve seen.
Tamaki Amajiki Stats:
Real Name: Tamaki Amajiki
Height: 5’9 3/4
Weight: N/A
Anime: My Hero Academia
Powers: Yes
Tamaki Amajiki is actually average height we’ve been seeing among male anime characters.
Although he would be considered short if compared to male celebrities we’ve seen.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Tamaki Amajiki Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero, unless I mentioned differently (for example someone like Hulk may get something specifically different)**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Tamaki Amajiki Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
Like other My Hero Academia characters we’ve seen, Tamaji Amajiki’s Wiki Fandom bio is super short (and not really that helpful), but we’re going to start there anyway:
Tamaki Amajiki, also known by his hero name Suneater, is a student in Class 3-A at U.A. High School and is part of The Big 3.
Tamaki isn’t exactly the most muscular character/student in My Hero Academia, and he also doesn’t have powers that are THE BEST to build a routine around.
Here’s what his Wiki Fandom tells us about his appearance:
Tamaki is a tall young man with rather pale skin. His ears are longer than most, their tips pointy and somewhat elf-like. He has messy, indigo hair, which sticks out behind his head, and thin, tired-looking eyes, partially covered by his bangs despite the fact that they’re supposed to be split as to not impair his vision. His shoulders are usually hunched, and he avoids making eye-contact with people.
And, strictly because I think it’s extremely relevant to his overall character, I want to share information about his personality as well.
To be clear, though, this does not help us build his routine:
Tamaki is extremely shy, aloof, depressed, “intimidating”, and introverted, especially around big audiences. He gets nervous very easily when talking to other people. If his anxiety gets the best of him, Tamaki will often face away and lean into a wall to hide his face from others. This also happens whenever Tamaki has a bad feeling or feels insulted.
While his physical abilities and Quirk are outstanding, Tamaki is very socially awkward and lacks confidence in his own powers. He apparently feels overwhelmed by the pressure to be perfect and this has damaged his self-esteem. Tamaki is quick to point out when others are being too optimistic in his pessimistic opinion and is unable to recognize his own achievements. His pessimism is a direct contrast to Fat Gum’s optimism. Even after being complimented by Fat Gum, Tamaki often takes his mentor’s praise for taunting.
Now, moving on from that, there is a ton of information that his Wiki Fandom shares that we CAN utilize to build out a workout routine.
Here’s what they tell us about his overall abilities:
Overall Abilities: Tamaki is one of U.A. High School’s most powerful students alongside Mirio Togata and Nejire Hado, who are all collectively known as The Big 3. Tamaki has been stated to have skills and abilities that far outclass that of most Pro Heroes.
Tamaki has mastered his Quirk, Manifest, through vigorous training. He possesses the ability to manipulate feature selection, size manipulation, and simultaneous manifestations. This gives Tamaki’s fighting style incredible variation and unpredictability. Tamaki makes sure to eat plenty of Takoyaki and Clams every day because he believes that they’re great for both offense and defense. He often uses tentacle fingers to bind his opponents and defends himself using a clamshell husk. Tamaki has a variety of other powerful combinations as well, including using chicken talon strengthened with octopus muscles, or tentacle fingers reinforced by crab shells. Fat Gum strongly believes Tamaki’s abilities are above his own and an entire team of Pro heroes and students that included the rest of the Big Three, Ryukyu, Eraser Head, and Rock Lock.
I want to put focus on the line: “through vigorous training”, which is something we know very well from when we saw Mirio Togata’s workout and training.
They couldn’t become part of The Big 3 without all their training.
To finish off our research before building out our routine I’ll share a bit more about his Quirk and then we’ll get into it:
Manifest: Tamaki’s Quirk grants him the ability to manifest the physical characteristics of anything he’s eaten; for example, if he eats takoyaki, he can transform his fingers into octopus tentacles. Additionally, anything he manifests is significantly stronger than normal, as seen by how his crab claws were easily able to crush metal weapons. The more of a substance Tamaki eats, the stronger his manifestation will be.
So while we could build a routine around the strength behind his Quirk, what we’ll really be building around is:
- The fact that Tamaki Amajiki’s physique isn’t shredded/bulky, but rather lean and slender
- His VIGOROUS training and commitment to improving
For that we’ll be revolving around high intensity circuit training and calisthenics to grow our Calisthenics Workouts Database our a bit and increase the value behind our Ultimate Calisthenics Workout and Guide.
So get ready for volume and intensity.
