Even though we jumped over to My Hero Academia and Demon Slayer for a couple new workouts doesn’t mean we’re slowing up on our Attack on Titan spree.
Last week we had a handful of Attack on Titan Inspired Workouts join our Anime Workouts Database and I mentioned that we want to see more and more characters come in – and I wasn’t kidding!
Adding Reiner Braun to the mix this week feels fitting with the character dynamic we’ve seen thus far.
Not only is Braun a fan favorite, although he did technically miss our list of The Most Popular Attack on Titan characters last week, but he’s also one of the strongest.
And, spoiler alert, he may not miss that list!
Reiner Braun Stats:
Real Name: Reiner Braun
Height: 6’1
Weight: 209 lbs.
Anime: Attack On Titan
Powers: Yes
Reiner Braun is actually quite tall if we compare him to other male anime characters we’ve seen recently.
Obviously we have some monsters come in like All Might, Gyomei and Gol D. Roger.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Reiner Braun Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Reiner Braun Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To kickstart our research for Reiner Braun we’re going to be doing what we always do and pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page.
Here’s what they start us off with:
Reiner Braun is the Vice Captain of the Warrior Unit and the main protagonist of Attack on Titan from the Marleyan perspective. He is the illegitimate son of an Eldian and a Marleyan and grew up in Liberio’s internment zone. Eventually, he was selected as a child to become one of Marley’s Warriors. At the age of ten, he inherited the power of the Armored Titan.
The fact that Reiner inherited the power of the Armored Titan is a big part of his power level, but we are still going to continue on to talk about his overall powers and abilities.
Here’s how they start that section off:
As one of the top ten graduates of the 104th Training Corps, Reiner is highly competent in the use of vertical maneuvering equipment and respective weapons. He is also one of the best hand-to-hand fighters among the recruits, having also trained other skilled fighters such as Eren. Reiner is noted to possess both a strong body and will, both in his human and Titan form. After returning home and fighting a war for Marley for four years, it can be assumed that Reiner has had additional air force-related training as he is able to parachute out of an airship onto the battlefield.
They continue into his Armored Titan section with a TON of information.
So for the sake of the lengthy description I’m going to stick to just the beginning description and then lead into what we’ll actually be utilizing to train like Braun:
Reiner is able to transform into a 15-meter Titan referred to as the Armored Titan in the series. Reiner uses this form to break down the inner gate of Wall Maria and actively uses it after he reveals his identity and objective to Eren. As he retains his human intelligence, he uses his hand-to-hand combat skills against other human-turned-Titans such as Eren, which in conjunction with his armor-like skin, gives him a solid advantage in combat.
In this case we’re going to actually be sticking to the theme we’ve been utilizing with our Attack On Titan characters, though, and work around calisthenics training.
The calisthenics, endurance and circuit style training that we’ve seen within our Assassin Calisthenics 90 Day System that has actually even been used to train new U.S. Marines has been apparent within our AOT Inspired Workouts and we’re going to be sticking to it!
I personally think it’s perfect for the Survey Corps training and goes well with the character physiques at the same time, but we’ll be switching it up a bit to perfectly fit Reiner.
Get ready.
