You guys have been loving the new additions to our Naruto Inspired Workouts – but there are a never-ending amount of awesome characters we can add.
Today we’re bringing in one of the fastest shinobis of all time!
Behind Minato Namikaze, known as The Yellow Flash, Tobirama Senju is seen as being one of the fastest and most powerful shinobi in history.
But, we’ll break down more on that below in his workout routine research section below.
Tobirama didn’t quite make our lists of the most powerful Naruto characters of all time, or the most popular Naruto characters of all time – but to be fair – there are just so many incredible and powerful characters.
Either way, members are going to love seeing Tobirama come up as the answer on their Naruto Workout Placement Quiz.
Tobirama Senju Stats:
Real Name: Tobirama Senju
Height: 5’10
Weight: 155 lbs.
Anime: Naruto
Powers: Yes
Tobirama is actually fairly tall compared to male anime characters we’ve seen.
That said, he is still dwarfed by a ton of behemoths we have within our Anime Workout Database.
Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4. Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.
One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.
We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.
Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.
But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.
We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Tobirama Senju Diet and Nutrition
**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**
Every hero needs to still have a good diet.
Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.
You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.
You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.
Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.
It’s all about sustainability.
AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.
Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!
Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Tobirama Senju Workout Routine Research
We’ve made it to “the fun part”.
And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.
To learn more about Tobirama we’re going to be pulling right from his Wiki Fandom page.
They lead us off with this:
Tobirama Senju was a member of the renowned Senju clan, who, together with his elder brother and the Uchiha clan, founded the first shinobi village: Konohagakure. Throughout his lifetime, Tobirama would work tirelessly to achieve political stability and implement the institutions that made the village system work, thus ensuring Konoha’s continuity and prosperity. After his brother’s death, he would earn the title of Second Hokage.
From there they go on to tell us about his powers and abilities, starting with a bit about his overall abilities here:
Tobirama was renowned as one of the most powerful shinobi in history, earning praise from even his rivals. He was able to kill Izuna Uchiha — Madara Uchiha’s brother and equal in both skills and power. Danzō Shimura stated that Tobirama’s prowess was unmatched during his time as Hokage. He was able to survive a battle with the Gold and Silver Brothers — a fearsome duo who possessed the Nine-Tails’ chakra and wielded the four of the Treasured Tools of the Sage of Six Paths.
So we already know we’re building this one out around one of the most powerful shinobi in history – which means we have our work cut out for us.
For those of you looking to step in as a beginner, you will likely have to scale this one down a bit.
They continue onto his Chakra and Physical Prowess section with this:
During his lifetime, Tobirama was hailed as the fastest shinobi. He was capable of moving fast enough to both cover a target with explosive tags, as well as mark them for his Space–Time Ninjutsu all unnoticed. In the anime, Tobirama is shown moving equally quickly while underwater. He is adept in taijutsu able to compete against his former student Hiruzen, who is known for his absolute mastery of all shinobi skills.
His chakra reserves were large enough to teleport two Tailed Beast Mode users simultaneously, and strong enough to visibly affect the surrounding terrain when releasing it. His chakra control was advanced enough to perform complex techniques with only one hand seal. His will was also strong enough to overcome the nearly-perfected control of the Impure World Reincarnation.
In order to build out both Tobirama’s speed and overall power level we’re going to be training with a mixture of weights (scaling up with progressive overload like we do with our Workout Enhancement Tool inside The Academy), calisthenics, and intensity.
On top of that we’ll also need to work on ninja stamina in order to be able to properly utilize that speed for long durations.
This routine will be extremely intense – but there is plenty of room for scaling. You can break apart the supersets or trisets and do your movements completely separately; you can scale down the weight of each movement; you can scale down the amount of exercises to start and then build up to them; and you can even scale down by cutting the extra Speed Ninja Circuit Test and Ninja Endurance Days to strictly do your three weight training and ninja speed days.
